An amazing rendition of this most beautiful song. As a former singer, having performed this piece many, many times I must say Mr. Bonamassa's use of the whammy bar perfectly illustrates where a voice would naturally have a tremolo, so I find it excellently placed. Comparing guitarists is a useless pastime, much like comparing apples to oranges. Both are fruits, but much different in flavor. Joe B is a legend on his own and surely does not need to emulate other guitarists to prove his worth. In my mind he is paying homage to his heroes.

It seems, to me, you can feel this version is his soul coming out through his fingers onto the strings, pretty well as is all of his music.
