Haha I play a full health PA build. My first trap camp experience, I just stood there until the guy switched his camp back, and then I gave him a thumbs down😂😂 he messaged me saying "well, I tried" 😂
Nobody would survive a proper trap camp. Must have been a bad build.
You'll die of radiation in about 3 seconds at my base. Plus who actually let's a nuke hit their camp?
@@bacon098lol that’s what a stealth suit is for. There’s other ways to nuke camps without using a nuke.

Fallout 76 camps trying not to overprice something: impossible
I rarely put anything for sale for more that 25% of estimated value (except those 1000 cap drop plans from quests, those I rarely go over 50 caps, unless it's rare). If it's bloody, anti armor or two shot I might up the cost a little.
But I am always afraid I under price stuff because I have had people buy up stuff I thought was expensive and turn around and put it in thier shops for several times more.
I got a fixer for 200 caps recently, genuinely the best thing I've seen in awhile
I overpriced ammo by just a little, like I think it was 10 caps for a 10mm bullet and someone nuked my camp

People who trap their base clearly underestimate the might of the nice high levels who gave me a gun 10 seconds ago. Never underestimate the high level mafia. They have launch codes and are willing to use em.
I got lucky surviving my first trap camp by being on the person's team lmao
My camp consists of a stash box and all the common crafting tables on 2 concrete pads so it fits anywhere and I just drop it after big events and make lots of friends 😂
You at least have to purchase a single grenade or something... let them know you beat their trap.

Yeah do not take junk into someone's camp, its never a good idea lol and one big sign that its a trap is a lack of an accessible stash box and or vendor.

See I had assumed this was what the artillery cannon was for. You build a 4x4 tower with a MAC at the top and bombard their camp… if not, fine… sending launch coordinates now.
First trap camp I came across used fall damage but because I had power armor I lived, then the 2 tried to kill me normally but explosive 50cal go brrrrrrrt
dude ima be honest, some trap camps are so well made and the technique they use to stack punji board and do it well is wild lmao
You should see mine, its a player sized punji chute of almost 30 stacks tall lol

@@respawnnnnnnnnnn pickled feet jars from the Helvetica butcher shop kit in the atom shop, stacks made with jars are super tight
Whenever you find a trap camp player , just Spam their tag or account with harassment claims and you don't have to see them again on the server for another 2-3 weeks and every time they pop back on you do it again.😅😂🎉

If people want to build trap camps, they sould go play rust and leave the rest of us alone.
The only people probaly doing this are the ones that suck at rust so they go for the unexpected
No, rust and fallout are two entirely different games, i own Rust and i do not like it die to the fact im constantly on a server when i log off, Trap camps belong in F76 and theres one of those fallout cartoons that shows a trap camp, just dont bring junk into a camp.
Can't say I've ever run into a trap camp.
You can crouch facing away outside walls or roof tops looking up then go into photomode using the map options if you get it right the camera will Spawn inside the traps will show up right away
And its very difficult for the trapper to counter this.
Always make sure to buy something. It's an insult to them

Not me, its more of a game to me, my trap camps usually have two vendors, one is trapped but the other is not and hidden somewhere outsode of the trap, its like a saw game, and if they survive my trap somehow then there's a couch at the bottom so they can get out and shop, people trap base for fun, then salty people wanna harrass them and you know tge saying, violence only brings more violence, i killed people and tried to give them their stuff back but they didn't care, they just wanted to dog me and launch nukes at my camp, so i decided that im just going to steal the junk and laugh at you if you get upset with me, and all of my traps are in the green zone with my tent nearby so people cant rocket base me.
A trap camp is no different than a prank, and not all pranksters are the same, some trappers are nasty people but others are actually wuite fine people, shouldn't judge a book by it's cover.
Keep telling them that, lol, I trap and it doesn't hurt us any, buy something overpriced if you choose😂

I never understood overpricing things in 76, especially because I could find the same thing at some NPC vender.
Maybe its just not common on ps but in my 300 hours so far ive never seen a single trap camp and i go to just about every camp with a decent looking shop
I've seen three my entire time playing, I'm not sure how many hours I have into the game. They're not common on Xbox, but they do exist.
@@GrizzlyDvnxbox and pc are cross-platform and I play pc never once ran into a trap camp and I've played since release
@@solaviryuvia8953 it is not cross-platform, as of July 2023. Not even cross Gen, so a PS4 and a PS5 player cannot play together.
I think I’ve only been caught out, like, twice(?) in all the time I’ve been playing over XB and PS since the game came out. Wised up to them pretty quick…
I've only been in 3 trap camps, one being the spike boards that killed me, another being a bunch of rad emitters that also killed me... and finally another spike board trap that stuffed me into a wall
I've played for over 800 hours and only knew about that perk yesterday haha, thankfully I've only encountered exactly three trap camps in my playtime.
The first and only trap camp I ever encountered was really fucking scary. I stepped inside the vendor area and was insta killed by a ton of Punji boards coming out of the walls, floor, and roof
I didn't know trap camps existed! Until I came across one, looked sketchy to begin with but then I couldn't get out n then a guy in a f***in clown mask appears with a chainsaw!! I managed to log out and escape just in time!

Trap camps feel like hidden Easter eggs to me.
I saw one where people were being launched off the side of a mountain.

Sometimes you can also get away with placing power armor through the window and teleporting in.
just to mention if you go on a roof of the camp and go in and out of daily ops and you will be inside the camp or you can photo mode through the door if there is a door
Heres a trick, go into 3rd person, place your back flat on the wall, look straight ahead of you then enter photo mode, your camera should glitch through the wall and you can peek inside, same works with flat terrain, in 3rd person look up to the sky and crouch then enter photo mode and youll glitch your camrea through the ground.
Both can be used to help spot trap bases, i know this because i make them 😅
Also, wear your chinese stealth suit or power armor just to make sure you won't get obliterated by the rad traps.
Radiation emmitors are nerfed

I love those bases that have like 200 plans and they’re all well under price I usually spend allot at those camps because I’m a noob and want all the useful plans I can get lol. Someone gave me the fixer plan for basically free. Super cool community most the time

I got lucky with my first trap camp i was in power armor and the legendary perk card revived me. The own was just confused to see me walking around their base
As much as it is a trap camp. That window there is glitched so you can just easily jump through it.
I mean you'd survive anyway with pacifist mode on if I recall correctly
nah that only takes your damage to other players away so you don't accidentally shoot other players and trigger pvp. I believe other players and their traps can still hurt you if they choose but they'll be labeled murderer and marked for the entire server, usually a couple level 1000s will hunt them down lmao.
@user-eo2er8fd8h I mean I've played for months and never had one trap base so I think they are pretty much non existent rn, plus I have alot of chems and aid to just negate that lol
@@zandergumtow9240 I seen one 3-4 days ago. They're pretty obvious if you do run into one though. I don't usually carry enough junk around to care if I do run into one and it somehow manages to kill me, though I'm also type person to not care about such things in basically a pve casual game lol
They don't seem common at all though anyway, probably pretty rare to come across one honestly. Then again I'm mostly at my camp making chems and alcohol to sell XD

I was wondering if it was just a one off I encountered one. Was able to tank it. Walls were glitched so you were touching each side of the walls the guy was using a crazy amount of spike boards but the bag was loaded. I would have never thought of using the light footed perk il have to watch more of these to see the crazy things the trolls are doing
I love my base demolition tank build for when I stumble upon a base. I survive - buy their cheapest item to let them know they failed - then destroy their base.
What if its an underground trap?
@@Christians_4_Cannabis same thing. Underground bases aren't indestructible, In fact, they're even more destructible because structures take more damage while underground
I've got 29 nuclear keycards saved specifically for trap camps and high priced vendors 😂
I had somebody a couple hundred levels higher than me try to enclose me in a trap camp one time luckily I was in power armor and just shredded through his camp and killed him and then proceeded to destroy his camp and steal his stuff

Not only created a trap camp but also dupes
Entered one one time and it was a fix the trade shop one. So I fixed it and as the traps activated I fast traveled away in time for minimal damage
Make sure you just never have any junk on you. Couldn't care less if they trap me.

I've only ever seen one trap camp, the clown prices though, not that uncommon.
I guarantee you that he set them so high so nobody would buy anything, everything in the shop is simply bait.
Now tank my trap camp.
Ran into one and thought why not buy something for fun. The guy setted all the stuff to be 0 caps so i took it all and got mad at me I took it all, so his camp had nothing to sell.

I use to love this making camps with weird Entrances, I did just this years ago but without the Trap. Ofc nobody would visit but least my camp is people free aha
Been to hundreds of camps, Only once have I ran into this. Hilariously, I had absolute Lu nothing of value on me at that time
I came across one of these for the first time recently and there was so much junk and I made it my mission to get all the junk😅. It took about 40 stims to get but I got a lot of scrap

All my characters have that perk card.
Lightfoot and just sit there and emote while in the trap. Can dance and glitch out your character model while never taking damage. Annoying that even though they removed the way to ser this up it's still a thing because the blueprints exist
I was once in a server on console and had a trap camp I went to… I died because it wasn’t a regular trap camp… it literally dropped you out the map. But anyways DC Deacon aka Pete Hines was on the server and I asked him to come see the camp. He came and died to it also… next thing you know the trap camp owner leaves… he left because DC Deacon is the/ was the VP of Bethesda.

well most my plans are 100 or less unless its something rare then weapons for less then 3000 unless its limited before they fixed the over powered items but rarely sell those
So it takes a minute to load some of these moster camps and I've died from fall damage from non trap camps too 😂
This is why I stay away from other camps and hate people that do

Trap camping isnt illegal.
As someone who always has way too many caps, I always like to just go in and buy 1 single item of the cheapest thing in the camp, then stand around in the house for a while until the guy either comes home or leaves the game. Just as a simple way to say "fuck you, your traps are wack"
Some traps are very difficult to build and require a lot of creativity and ingenuity, if the trap is well made respect should go where it's due. We all have our own reasons for playing fallout, lets not make trappers into pariahs.
Ive played 2000 hours of fallout and only have came across one trap camp and it was a lilttle different he setup a challange if you can survive so many seconds he gives you a surprise and if you die he gets your junk lol he gave me 1000 tesla comics 1000 stimpacks and a ffr raliway rifle lol

I have never encountered a trap camp and I've been playing since the game's release on PC. I know they exist because people are making videos of them, but I have to wonder if they are mostly found on console servers now.
Nope, ive also been playing since release on console, never came across a trap camp, and i usually check out peoples camps
I sometimes wonder if it's not a group of the same trappers showing their bases to each other always. I've played since release on pc which is cross-platform with Xbox and never once found a single trap base.

You can only damage property thats not yours if you're in PVP with the camp owner.

Not a single trap in the camp....
The walls have punji mered into them, the hitbox of the punjinis just barely peeking through the wall, enough to damage other players as they try using the hallway, on tip of this its a sticky wall trap so when you use the sympto-matic you are literally stuck to the wall of death and can only move left or right.

Someone who played fallout new Vegas 3 & 4 I never could get the hang of or the point of the skills in online? Like why would I want to never be able to gain the perk I want?
I play enough fallout 76 to enjoy and smart about it. But what are trap bases even for.
There's many reasons one may want to build a trap, not all trappers trap for the same reason(s) but i can tell you why I enjoy making trap camps if you're interested.
I don't bother if the vendor is in a stupid spot n I gotta do some dumb Bs to get to it.
I got in a tramp camp my first time with guys in clown costumes and 1v1 the guy and all the items he picked up are now gone and his teamate kills me I stopped playing been 3 months went back still bitter
you only drop junk, and you can store it so usually you shouldn't lose very much if your scrapping junk and storing it as often as you should. and if you're new to the game trust me your storage gets full of junk in no time its everywhere, no need to be bitter about it.
it's more fun trapping some tryhard in a mobile trap camp that keeps the player from fast traveling all the while emitting a screech from 45 speaker box's. its not a strong do damage trap now don't get me wrong it can unalive a player but then that's a mini game i like to play called "do you have enough stimpacks on you to make up for the unlimited amount of repairs I can do". See pvp warriors absolutely despise being put 6 feet under and they never get that chance for a 1-1 on the other person, a little something I learned using the nano drone station in gta 5.

That’s junk!? I’m only living off of what I could scrounge off of the survivors encampment and having to think what I will bring with me, also what I did to make a base is I had got the portable vault and put backward paintings on the wall and I am the only one that can move it and if they get past there are turrets lining the walls. But only protecting shit loot I bring back.

there's a decent amount of people that still do. its enjoyable after all the updates. Its a mmorpg, it will have updates for years and player base will continue to play off and on like any other mmo.

@@Ratty_Starngl i just didnt think about it so far the community has been great but ran into a trap camp and two assholes stealing my workshop i took forever to spruce up on the same day yesterday. Luckily a ton people responding to my looking for group post and helped me take back the stuff they took from my death bag but they wouldnt leave after firghting forever so i just told them thanks and i got my stuff so we could leave lol. Still sad but overall havent ran into many who harrass low levels, most people even help me out greatly and i try to do the same for people under my level with stims and anything i have. Great community.
