yeah its so hard carrying 4lbs of camera gear and clicking a mouse button to edit a video. if someone put that much effort into a real job they would be fired for not doing much.

ok so this is what get's me, no, most players don't need a fitting. If you can't recreate shots on a consistent basis, they're not fitting anything. They're just trying to navigate you to the best product that will leave you impressed and coming back for more of their products. It doesn't take much, they can tell it will take very little, they navigate you through flexes and forgiving heads and send you on your way. A true fitting is when a good golfer goes to one of these shops/brands and gets the real experience, where your lie and loft are adjusted, spine placements, weight tuning, precise lengths and really narrowing down which head will help drive your scores lower. If you have a demo day at your local course, boom, there you go. But no, if you struggle to break 80, you don't need a club fitting at all, you need to practice more.
EXACTLY... This guy gets it! The issue is most golfers dont know a damn thing about the club loft, lie, and swing weights and this is where the avg golfer will never have a clue on how to get better. For me I have gone a step further by doing my OWN club wrok- to get it how "I LIKE IT" It may xcost a little more, but the eudcation is proceless. The fact many of these guys (Even at the manufacturer) NEVER or RARELY go into Swing weight.. which is the Holy Grail to me.

ugh, i really tried to watch and listen but with the wind blowing in the background and the unclear words I'm having difficult to hear because of the mask , I need to find another video on a true unbiased reason for club fitting, especially for someone who does not always have a consistent shot (i.e. a club to help with my hooks isn't going to work because I don't hook all the time)

So did anyone watch it? Did anyone actually break out a tape measure and measure a part of a human body and convert it to a golf club length without getting into trigonometry or calculus? I am trying to keep it simple and there isnt a video on you tube that will tell me if I am close enough to hit stock clubs or not . I am 6 feet tall with arms and legs .

So if I'm too tall for my clubs the lie angle will promote a fade right? and that being because the toe digs or just the loft being off kilter aiming it right...
So then I tend to hit a draw I think, not sure if I tend to pull it or not. So would getting a lie angle change increase my miss to the left? making my draw turn into a hook a bit more probably?
