I have always loved your nails and hands. They're gorgeous and I can so tell your hands and nails are well taken care of, even before I watched any of your video like this. I need to use my cuticle oil everyday but totally forget. Lol Love this video so much! Thank you!❤😍🤗🥰
Wow wow wow! I’m so surprised and happy to see this video Timberlin! Your nails always look so healthy and strong and I’m incredibly honored to create products that help keep them that way!!! XO!!
thanks for doing an updated routine! and you aren't lying Anchor and heart is my one stop shop for all essentials! i'll have to pick up some lotion next time i buy from there! i actually use a small makeup/clean up brush to put my cuticle creams on because my nails are so long and i hate getting stuff stuck underneath them lol.
@@shaumia82 the mermaid tears from anchor and heart is hands down my favorite base coat. To be honest though all her base coats and top coats are amazing! You can't go wrong with anything on her site. I will also suggest night owl lacquer top coat is one I buy the most or cuticula. 😊
Love that sally Hansen cuticle remover! Cuticles literally glide off with this stuff. My nail care routine is similar to yours 😊 mine are still recovering from years of acrylics though
Awesome tutorial. I'm not regular at doing all these treatments but will try to do this once a week as I LOVE POLISH,and nail care is so important. I'll Save this video and follow it!
9:35 The proper way to apply lotions is when your skin is hydrated with water: immediately after a shower/bath, or immediately after washing hands. Or use a humectant first, then top with lotion. Looks like this one works for you because it actually has oil it so it would work better on dry skin.
I wish my nails looked like yours! Total nail envy LOL I agree, I am in love with Anchor and Heart right now, I had to grab my favorite Sirens Cure cuticle Cream before she stopped selling them for summer. I need a new glass file, I think I will try the What's up nails since you have had yours so long and it still works very well for sure! TFS!!!
Huge thank you. Am always looking for new nail care info and products, especially for dry cuticles. Appreciate all the hard work and will check out the links. ❤❤❤
Your nails/hands always look so healthy and good-- thank you for sharing your routine! I immediately went to the Anchor & Heart site and picked up a couple things to try. One product I have recently started using and am really enjoying is the Stella Chroma Emulsified Sugar Scrub-- I love how it makes my skin feel. I will need to try the KB Shimmer scrub next!
Do you use a nail dehydrator before using base coat? Your nail plate would be full of the different oils you’ve used, and polishes won’t wear as well as they could. Just curious.
Beautiful nails I also use a lot of cuticle oil I make myself I also use a glass file and I wash my hands a lot with changing my sons nappies also 😂 love cuticle pens I just got a dropper but it lets out to much oil. I realise this is an older video.
How often do you do this routine? Btw I usually do lush lemony flutter before bed and notice a huge difference when I skip for a couple of days. The lush reduces my cuticle dryness significantly.
**Goes on shopping spree for AHL products** 😂 I'm fascinated by nail care videos because everyone does things in a slightly different order! I would have assumed that with cuticle oil etc, that you apply oil first & then a balm/butter but I see a lot of people doing balm/butter first, then following with cuticle oil. Obviously I'm hugely confused but I did read somewhere that nails & skin absorb things differently? So with skin (like facial cleansing) you want oil to be your first step (facial oil cleanser) to remove dirt & impurities - but with nails the oil goes on last to lock in the hydration.. I'm not explaining this well at all & I can't remember where I heard that! I need to do more research lol! I've also had issues with certain cuticle butters/creams that seem to just sit on the nail & not absorb.. It's so strange/interesting! I just got my first pot of cuticula 'confection nail fortifier' & so far I'm really impressed with the results! *edit*- Oooh I just got to the part where you apply Basecoat - do you ever use alcohol/acetone/dehydrator on your nails before applying polish? If I applied base coat on top of freshly oiled nails, I thought it wouldn't adhere very well but I could be completely wrong?! My main goal is a long lasting mani & beautiful cuticles. I really enjoyed this video. Tysm! 💕
The only Anchor and Heart product I have is their Anchor Base coat and I love it. I've notice less peeling, splitting and breaking since I started using it and my polish last longer. I haven't tried their other products yet. I'm curious if you've tried any Cuticula products? I've heard amazing stuff from their fans but would like to know if someone has compared Anchor and Heart to theirs and if there's a difference.
What does baby shark smell like? I am going to buy most of what you showed today....Thanks for this video because it taught me the proper way to take care of my nails.
I checked the anchor and heart website and they describe the scent as "Baby Shark (fan favorite comeback) fresh sea salt air, lemon zest, coconut water, beach rose, sea grass"
I am curious because I noticed your nails are not yellow at all in the video. Do you do anything in particular to help them stay like that. I had a friend tell me it was acetone that stained her nails. 🤯 I had never heard that one before. I always heard it was from dark polishes. How do you remove your polish and do you ever go naked nails?
I have 1 nail on each hand where the nail is weak...no idea why...how do you strengthen your nails? Have they always been strong? I use cuticle oils, etc. Thank you!
Since you have ridges in your nails, you should try out the double bond base coat from vibrant vinyls. It’s both a ridge filling and a sticky base coat. I love it so much and it comes scented or I think you can get it I scented if you want. Also she has been selling it as a duo with her top coat for polish pickup so you could easily buy it that way if you want.
everyone as them, it's how normal nails grow, those who don't have them it's because they buff them and it makes the nail more brittle and more fragile. It's better using a nail ridge filler of it bothers you.
I am hoping that someone can help me with finding a glass nail file that is thick. I ordered the one from What’s Up and it’s very think compared to the one you are using in this video.... I am hoping you see this comment or any others have suggestions I would appreciate it
That was interesting, nice to hear about different nails but I have to be honest- the glitter background was quite distracting and actually hurt my eyes. Thanks for sharing your hard work.
Your nails are so strong and healthy! Especially for all the swatching that you do!
I have always loved your nails and hands. They're gorgeous and I can so tell your hands and nails are well taken care of, even before I watched any of your video like this. I need to use my cuticle oil everyday but totally forget. Lol

I just love any videos from pampered nails but I really enjoyed the nail care video. Thank you

I think I'm going to try out the base coat .How is the top coat I'm always looking for a good base and top coat combo

@@vampshadow666 have you tries Cuticula new Cinque base coat? If you have how does it compare to Anchor and Heart?
@@shaumia82 no problem! Always happy to help. 😊
I have trouble with lotions too. That's why I've just been using Working Hands. It's not fancy, but it is effective.

Mine are recovering after 10 years of acrylics and my attempt at powder dip nails which I tore off😱😂
You’re nailcare routine is so nice. I will try to purchase the nail oil that you are using. And the shape of you’re nails is also really nice 😄

very lovely routine :D your nails look great!
Another great information video. Thanks so much
Great video! Thanks for sharing. Fun fact: I was polishing my nails while watching your nail care routine :D
Exactly what I needed 😍is it necessary to use cuticle gel or can I use oil instead?
Often times cuticle oil works just as well

I can’t believe that it stays on your nails without washing the oil off is it because of the product
