This is a great video! I like the idea of using Vaseline around the cuticles before removing the polish (I use cuticle oil at the moment but Vaseline is more economical). The clips are great even if you're not using glitter. You explained all the steps perfectly! TFS!
Thanks cami! Yeah vaseline is cheaper and way more protective than oil when it comes to this!
Yes never cut the proximal nail fold which isn't the cuticle the cuticle is the stuff your softly scraping off I use the nail clips also but I use cotton balls I use a acetone additive in my acetone I also use a lot of oil lotion I hardly get dry skin around my nails anymore or peeling I wear gloves when cleaning doing dishes etc...
Yeah our hands take a beating on our day to day, so we have to be nice to them :P

Hi. I love your tips. Thank you. Is base coat the same as primer?
This is a confusing topic because when speaking about gel products (which I don’t speak about), no it’s not the same. When speaking about regular polish, some brands call a primer to some other product like a dehydrator. There’s no standard unfortunately. On the safe side, I would assume “no, primer is not the same as base coat”. DM me on IG or email me if u have any more questions (hard to talk on comment section haha)
Did you try out any glass cuticle pushers? What are your thoughts on those?
I think they are fine. I prefer the metal ones personally.
