I love James Taylor's music for its optimistic and comforting lyrics and melodies. It is great music to listen to in the evenings or when I can not sleep. The sounds are always rich, warm and just beautiful to my ears. James' voice will never get tired assuring us that everything will be all right.
From practicing his songs I learned a lot of new chords and picking patterns. James also uploaded a series of lessons about his songs on RUclips.
For this recording I took a spare hour to go into the woods nearby. I pushed my comfort zone by playing in front of a camera while people were walking by. Something new, scary and exciting to do and it gave me a little rush as you can see. It's not perfect and that's the fun of it.

Hi Arjen, May I ask what settings did you used for zoom H2?
Hi Mchael! Sure, I have it on “med”, no effects, 44.1/16. I used GarageBand for EQ, compressor and some reverb. Take care!

Thank you! In this video I have .11 Phosphor by d’Addario but now I am back to the standard strings as I bought them: .12 elixir 80/20’s
I see, how would you compare the tone/playability of these strings in your guitar? Which one do you prefer?
@@jovendelacruz3910 I like both. For finger style I like 80/20 and for strumming Phosphor. After my guitar was at a luthier it became very nice to play and it was set up for .12. I would spend any string testing budget on a good setup by a pro, stop thinking and enjoy my guitar. Should have done that right away ;-). Happy playing!
@@arjenharsta1165thanks for the insights🤗 just got the same model couple of weeks ago in translucent black. I may bring it to luthier for a good set up in future, so far i can still enjoy the factory set up and strings.
