I had that bike, back in the day.also before i had the gt125,not so much difference in speed, but 185 stronger, battles and very close battles with my friend on RD200.But both of us could kick the arse out of a honda 400 four.in recent years i had a cbr600r with 110 hp track racer, nice bike, but on the wrong track for the 600r,i think i could beat it on my 125gt.i forget i am 60 now but the 125 reved serious high, and very light weight,me too lightweight. Its a criminal act two strokers not realy allowed anymore.I loved the smell of burning petrol and two stroke oil.
First motorbike I ever had. Bought brand new in 1976, on my 17th birthday. Only problem I ever had with it was with the exhausts. The internal baffles collapsed after a few months, after which you could hear it three miles away! The noise wouldn't be street legal now. Back then, I thought the sound was pretty cool. I loved that bike.
I had the same bike same colour twin front disks/rotors brakes it went like stink handled I used it all year round even on snow n ice it was stuck like glue to the road, but ate fuel but the speed for a small bike it gave any sore head a trill n lift. The 250 twin handled terribly but the 185 was so sweet n handled beautifully.Happy days.
My wife had one of these back in '77. I used to take it out every once in a while and it was a lot of fun.
i bought my gt 185 in 1976 colour blue, i was never off it, fast as hell. was a great bike. i still miss mine.
Had one of these back in 1979. So fun to ride! Great to see nearly the identical bike I had. Thanks for the memories.
wow, this motorbike is very antique, the accessories that come with the motorbike are also complete and all are still intact
I had a blue one in 1977 lover it never let me down
Lovely example of a pretty bike.

Great little bike. I had on back in 77. Popped a piston at 90 down hill! Really easy to work on, top speed 85mph by the way.
Haha, hell yeah! Love these 70's era japanese 2 stroke bikes. I may be picking up a 73 gt250 here soon if the guy will come down a bit.
get an X7 its faster, than the older gt.i had the gt125,and later the 185.then the x7,and later the triple gt 550,that was much fun too.
