i love this ride!!!!, it was my first floorless coaster
You guys think this is rough? Dominator is one of the smoothest roller coasters I've been on! I wish Kings Island or Cedar Point would bring one to their parks.

Same here lol I was there last saturday. Tool a lot of courage but it was so fun!
Went here the other day, this was the first coaster I went on at KD, and of course when we were about to board the coaster it started downpouring! They didn't close it so yeah that was my first time riding a rollercoaster in the rain, it was awesome!

xghostsinnerx you didn't miss out on much. Shockwave and hurler were rough and uncomfortable. Shockwave was especially uncomfortable for males as the ride used a seat similar to a bike. Shockwave's standup position was a slight squat so your legs would hurt when you were in the brake run for a while. I also had a bad experience on hurler when I rode with my cousin. With the rough ride and high lateral g forces, we both knocked our heads on each other multiple times. It probably good that you didn't get to ride it

Im afraid of roller coasters but I promised my friend that I would ride at least one roller coaster at Kings Dominion and on July 3rd, 2017 Dominator was my very first roller coaster and I had fun and it was smooth!!❤
We are going to Kings Dominion Next month and I want to try a bigger coaster and maybe ride this but I'm scared too, is the frst drop really scary?? I'm scared of heights the most and this will be my tallest coaster I've rode so far if I ride this

This was my first ride I rode with a loop( at 12) and I loved it! I got on the Anaconda afterwards.
This was the first "real" coaster i ever road and i got to say its one of my favorites. I am going to Kings Dominion again this summer and im gonna tackle the Intimidator 305. wich in some peoples opinion is one of the best coasters in the eastern side of the USA. :P (hope i dont die) LOLOLOL

Its a small coaster as far as ground yardage goes. Most of it is in the air. Its so coiled together compact. Its a great ride!
If it is as good as you say would you recommend it for someone whose NEVER been on a rollercoaster?

Dominator is the longest floorless roller coaster in the world.
This ride was so fun when i got on!! I went to Kings Dominion during the week so all the rides basically had no lines, so I got to ride the Dominator 3 times. It is not fast at all, trust me.
As I was getting ready to ride, the rider next to me asked me if I was okay, and I said yeah. I told her I was a bit nervous.
And as we were going up, I prayed.
I remember when this ride came out it was so smooth but now its bumpy. It hurts. But I still ride it :)

I'm not sharpproductions but my favorite floorless is Bizarro at Six Flags Great Adventure. but the only other floorless I've been on is Scream at Magic Mountain. This looks better than both of those though.

I've been on almost all of the thrill rides at kings dominion. This year I am going with my school (we are going in may) and of course we have already started planning! I would like to know what rides would be the best to get on. (because I have no idea what I would be doing) We want to get on something with loops and turns. NOW my group is a group of 13 and 14 yr olds so I guess we could be kinda picky but pleaseeeeeeee Help... P.S my teacher is 34 and loves rides also.

Dominator as soon as you walk in. Work your way to the back and then there is the volcano, anaconda, stunt coaster (has no loops) and then flight of fear.

Oh, I think that would be because i was newer, it is now around 15 years old.
I tried to ride this when I was 6. I waited in line for 2 hours to ride and I was in the front. They were about to start the coaster and they took me off because I was too short. They told me I was good before they put me on. I cried that day (I was 6) but I was definitely disappointed but I can’t imagine if they would’ve left me on
i went on the dominator twice last year with my mom and my aunt and my cousin my aunt was scared she covered her eyes with her hat and i was have fun
