The SewerSolution System by Valterra is a great product for emptying your camper/RV black tank when you don't have access to a dump station. With your garden hose supplying all the power to macerator any black tank solids, your tank will empty through the 3/4" hose. If you add your own 1" PVC pipe, you can empty via runs up to 100' (30m) on a level surface. No electric power is needed and smell is non-existent.
The Valterra SewerSolution system is available at many RV stores and Amazon www.amazon.com/... for around $82 (US).

Your supposed to angle the jet water down into the dump hose. It will empty way faster and still chop up debris. You turn it into the black tank to fill and flush.
Then back down. It will force the water down the hose. The way you are doing it will not work up hill this system can work up hill or over curbs.
Get it with a 25 ft house for RV parks with the sewer line running at the back of the RV. Works soooo well, and at the end of the dump the hose is all rinsed and clean!
Is there a problem with contamination? I don't see backflow protection on the supply line.
Gary Roberts the valve the water hose is connected to is a check valve preventing it from back flow.
Yeah comes with a backflow check valve and the big sticker says not to use it without the back flow valve. Still, don’t use a fresh water hose.
Looks like a nifty little thing to have.
Question...at :54, the end connector hose (90 pvc) that you have inserted into the straight PVC line, I'm guessing it's just temporarily pushed into the fitting so you can remove it later? It doesn't leak there?
How many gallons of water does the process use to empty the black tank?
+Mary Hicks Good question, Mary. I don't have the numbers for that. I've got a 50 gal. tank, but I don't know how much water I used flushing it with this. I think the convenience of dumping at my house outweighs any cost for water. I can say that the high-pressure nozzle reduces the water use compared to just running the hose.
+theBarefoot You could probably find a small inline meter for your hose. I got one free at a "water wise" booth at a community event. Cost of water is one thing but conservation of water is more important in drought stricken areas.
+Mary Hicks It definitely doesn't replace traditional dumping. I got it because it allows me to to clean the tank at home if necessary and do some extra tank maintenance.
@@theBarefoot Love It I have this Sewer Solution, I have mine connected to the 15 foot sewer solution extension hose giving me 25 feet. Only because I live in the country and the location of my septic tank was all I needed. Great Video Man.
How Long does it take to dump BLACK TANK
Instead of buying the Valterra extension hose can you attach a regular 3/4 inch garden hose?
There are no threads to extend it with a garden hose. It's comes setup for 1" PVC extensions.
I went to Home Depot, bought the proper connections and attached a 75 foot garden hose to the Valterra. It works great, I can empty my tanks at home, it's slow but effective.
I did the same with 3/4 hose and I pumped it 60 feet slightly uphill.
GREAT PRODUCT
We're still working on our van. Installing tanks is one thing. Emptying them is another and I'm researching that now. This is helpful to watch. Thanks, Randy.
