Got mine. I attached a 1” 100 ft (10 EA 10 FT pcs) run of 1” PVC to my home clean out location per the instructions and the above video. Works great. Patience will come in handy but eventually your tanks will be empty.
He mentioned some sewers you may not be able to back wash, my RV is one of those. I installed a Valtera NO FUSS Flush . Part # A-70, plus A- 71 installation kit to my black tank, Now I can backflush and use the RV Sewer Solution to full extent. Mark Polk has a Video on this in RV Geeks 101. All of it works great. Before I was just using the Sewer Solution as a drain and could not backwash until I Seen RV Education 101, The NO FUSS FLUSH Kit. easy to install to the black tank. Mind you I use two hoses one for the sewer Solution the other for the NO FUSS FLUSH KIT. works great.
I extended my 10 foot hose with a regular 5/8" or 3/4" garden hose. The difficult part was finding the PVC fittings to make adapters going from garden hose to sewer solution hose. I found them at ACE Hardware after about 30 minutes of trying every possible fitting I found some that seem to work ok. The connector I removed from the sewer solution hose was probably installed with the end of the hose heated so it could stretch onto the connector. I will have to cut 2" of of the sewer solution hose to get rid of the stretch part, then I think my connection from ACE will fit a little tighter. SO far the system seems to be working quite well, I saw stuff that came out that was probably stuck in there for a long time. The only down side is that it going to take time to dump and flush. I think I spent about an hour of dumping and flushing. The jet spray nozzle seems to get into the tank and break of some things.
Excellent information and sooooooooo thorough. A little too thorough for me but really helpful when you need a step by step how to. I have a sewer solution and I looooove it!
Just had a "Code Brown" incident trying to lift the hoses to dump to a point higher that my Class C connection. Hoses came disconnected and made a mess of my pants and the ground. Ordering one now.
The issue here is, you MUST have a source of water for this to work. Many campgrounds (not RV parks) do NOT have a water source that you can hook up to. A "water thief" must be used, and even then you may not be able to use the water. But I can see where this could make the old dumping adventure a bit more (dare I say) pleasurable.
MUST HAVE IT. AAA +. I'M A VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER. :-) One thing.... Extention horse cost to much and for that reason I chose to use 1/2 inch PVC pipe and/or regular dedicated regular horse.( Get he PVC adapter in Home Dept)
I have called three different, local RV store outlets about this product. None of the three will say it actually works. They won't guarantee it to work. All three say they have had this product on their shelves for quite a while, that they at not selling any of them. One, (Camping World) said they took one back for excessive leaking. I am intrigued by the product, but afraid to spend the money for something that may only work in commercials.
I have now been using it for our trips since last year. My airstream has a macerator pump between the toilet and the black tank (goes a tad uphill to reach the black tank so they did this).... I really like using the black tank flush that the travel trailer has - has those sprayers inside the black tank which does better job of flushing. This gets annoying though cause you would have two different flushes to use and you are told you must youse the sewer solution nozzle to properly drain....BUT...I just let the black tank drain without running the sewer solution nozzle...then run the black tank flush from the travel trailer (no the ss)...then empty by gravity alone through sewer solution, then repeat non-SS flush till satisfied.... I have found this bit more unconventional strategy much easier, and I know some other Rv'ers who do the same without a macerator toilet.. Probably would not do it if not plenty of water in the black tank and a couple of days of waste sitting in to break up TP to some degree and what not....
dump sewage without being exposed to sewage or odor.. uhhhhh I don't recall being exposed to those things even while using a traditional 3 inch sewage hose.
I heard about this video on another channel. This is simple, uncomplicated, and it looks like it really works! Thank you so much!
You are welcome

Bought one of these and could not be happier with how it works.

I have one of these for my RV and I love it.
fantastic overview, thank you!
Mine works great and I pump it about 60 feet to my home sewer clean out.
Great product & how-to vid, thank you!!
Mine works great 10/10 stars!

awesome idea!
Outstanding, Thank you.
Thank-you!
Brilliant!
I have one...expect 4-5 x the time of the conventional sewer drain.

I would think a hose might work better than a horse, but to each his own.
I like them dedicated horses! :)

Sad that it's only ten feet.

Can I leave it permanently?
I leave it hooked up in between outings which is not rare to be 2 to 3 months at a time. I’ve never had a problem.
