This year, I skipped the tree ornaments and just decorated with pheasant feathers, two types of berry branches, pinecones, and ribbon. The tree topper was a premade plaid bow. Took me ten minutes to decorate and only minutes to dismantle ❤

That’s EXACTLY how I did my tree this year a beautiful large tree, with beautiful classic red and green plaid ribbon cascading down and I decided to skip decorative balls and decorations…it looked stunning 🌲

I’m not a meteorologist but the past few years the US has been in an La Niña weather event and we are heading into a neutral phase (colder weather to warmer weather). Then there’s the Gulf Stream that goes from Texas straight to the UK which is why the UK is so mild compared to other northernly countries. Basically our weather travels a path straight to the UK from the Gulf of Mexico in Texas. So your mild weather is probably from the mild weather in the US recently.
