Yeah same. The valuation of the token seem overrated and once maps will be mapped once already rewards will be waaaaay lower. And who the hell pay for the data and how much. Camera sales pay the gains RN, ponzi. Can work if they efdiciently monetise their data before it fall down on itself but not sure at all
One other tip for more images $ downloaded is to cool the heat sink. I had a heat sink like Chumpchange XD did a video on about two weeks ago. I added the heat sink with a cut to size thermal pad used on GPU’s to the Hivemapper heat sink. It has increased images anywhere from 5 - 10% All available from Amazon for cheep.

Fuel does add up, but I have found I'm making about $0.45 per mile with Hivemapper, which more than pays for fuel cost. I also use the driving time to listen to youtube videos about crypto, plus it gives my littlest on time to nap, which gives mommy a break, so it's a great way for me to multitask lol
Sure is. I recommend going about your day as you normally do and not necessarily going out of your way on long drives specifically just to map. If you're a a gig worker it's absolutely amazing and very supplemental. Payment varies on how many pictures you upload during your week . I do about 30 K a day I drive from 8 AM to 5 PM for work and make about 600-900/wk depending on the price of the coin at the time. But I think most normal people would probably make about 70 to 100 a week depending how much they upload

I have a Jeep grand Cherokee which has another cigarette lighter adapter in the back of the car. If you only have one lighter, you can get a 2-1 splitter, here is one I found on Amazon: amzn.to/48eaFNT Only need one phone. I just switch wifi networks beteeen the two dashcams to load the photos
So I wondered if I can setup 2 outward facing cams and a forward facing cam with the Hivemapper ? You would think they would want both sides of the road? Also is there a way to transfer the data to my phone quicker when running multiple? I currently have 3 that I just got in Friday.
You would think they would want both sides, especially since different countries drive on different sides of the roads, so not sure why they limit it to 2. No current way to speed up upload that I’m aware of. I heard their new Bee dashcam will have an automatic upload process, but I know that doesn’t help you currently
I think it will be worth it given the bonus they are offering, even if you don't drive a whole lot or drive the same routes every day. But I have also seen a large decrease in tokens I am earning recently. See my latest video. So do what you think is best for your situation.

I have a second cigarette outlet in the rear of my vehicle. You can get a splitter off amazon if you only have one. You can move the dash cam between vehicles no problem. It isn't tied to your vehicle

amount of money you would make is largely dependent on where you're driving, so it's tough to say. If it were a delivery or uber driver, i would bet at least $500 a week with a single dashcam. Yes if i were to setup a fleet I would definitely register it as an LLC for legal purposes. YOu're going to have to pay taxes no matter the legal structure.

He's happy to put one in his truck plus he asked another 2 people who said that they are happy to put the dash cam in their trucks for a little fee. Im gonna order another 2 sets next week. They each do around 2000 miles a week. I'll start with 3 people for now and see what how it goes. I'm really hoping it'll take off and I can make a living out of it. Yea it’s $1000 a week total with 2 cameras. Max of 2 cameras per vehicle. I have been driving a lot, estimate amount 500 miles per week. Not surprised they are going for that much given the profitability and long wait time. Do you have one?

There is a detailed explanation of how rewards are calculated in their whitepaper. It’s rather complex. Last I checked new orders were expected to be shipped in August

Should I diver slower to get more pictures? Or do you earn purely on the range you cover so I so drive as fast as I am able? Bonus questions: Wondering if you have someone very slow in front of you and its hard to keep distance. Does always having the same vehicle in frame get the images rejected? And if rigged properly do you think someone on a bike can map?
I believe driving slow will not earn you more. Your earning per mile should stay consistent, so it actually pays to drive fast. At 30 frames per second, no reason to slow down. If a car in front of you is blocking the frame, likely those picture will get rejected, so best to keep a safe distance

Also, how do you easily keep track of what has been mapped in an area because some street in Los Angeles are a grid-like puzzle. I think you also get credit for both sides of the same road, so backtracking helps... correct?

It’s not a scam, I have covered the project since July of 2023 and it’s been a very lucrative and interesting project. It’s one of the few crypto projects that’s actually solving a real world problem. As for the supposed scam comments, not sure what you’re referring to? I delete all obvious scam comments trying to con people. Most all other comments are from loyal viewers that comment on most all my videos.
