  • In this episode we go over some of the most elusive and important steps of the process. The final nesting of the family allows the "elevation" parameter to work , and we "hook up" or "map" the electrical connector family to paramters. Finally, we split up this family into 2 versions (optional) into a regular panelboard and a distribution panel.

Excellent series of tutorials! It's a pain to find Revit tutorials on the electrical trade, please - keep it up!

Thanks for the videos in this series, they were very helpful. The waters are a lot less murkier now. :)

I have two pumps (one single-phase 220V, and one three-phase 400V) on the HVAC level. How can I connect it to my electrical panel?

Hi Ariel. Thanks for sharing this video series. Are doing this for your business? Can we get you to make some of these families for my firm?

Glad you like them. The idea of this series is to give you all the skills you need to create all your own families for your firm. However, if you send me an email, I can recommend a consultant who specializes in building Revit Family libraries.
