-About 50' (15.24m) of rope
-tape
-scissors
-sewing machine with large flat bed or use blocks and books for a flat working surface
-thread and bobbins to match color of material
-a yard or meter of fabric cut into 1" strips on the bias
-clips to hold fabric in place while wrapping your rope
-4 sewing pins
-embellishments of choice to decorate your bowls
