Parang medyo nabitin po ako sa conclusion... i would have hoped na something along the lines of, "if you prefer a cookie thats not too sweet, chewy, etc... go with cookie A"
I've been baking for many years and I would never use bread flour for a cookie, it would just make them to crunchy, also some people like to put the flour in a little bit at a time while it's mixing but that's not a necessary a good thing because you don't want to overmix your dough so I add the flour all at once and hand mix it until just combined
I really liked this vid but it’s a bit weird that temperatures were only provided in fahrenheit. I understand that these recipes are largely American but surely having an international audience warrants conversion into Celsius too? Esp cus the Philippines also uses C? Thanks for the hard work though, Featr team!!
I'm Italian, what is happening I don't understand if and when he's randomly switching languages in the same sentence, help! still good informational video, thank you
I’ve never heard a chef refer to cookies as “pastries”. I thought cookies belong to the cake category. However, maybe it’s a language thing because half of what he’s saying, I can’t even understand.
Pls understand why u refrigerate it. It is for flour to absorb flavours of rest of the ingredients. Freezer just stops all activities, doesn't help absorption or anything.... If you don't have time, why try it without following the recipe and then compare? 🤦🤦🤦
Kahit anong Chocolate chip cookies MASARAP especially Kapag MARAMING Chocolate chips tapos chewy ang texture. Pangit Yung Chocolate chip cookies na crunchy or matigas tapos crumbly.
Anna Olsons recipe has never failed me !

When Chef Martin did Tasty's recipe and browned the butter, he only had small traces of the brown specks. There should have been more.
Yes! That's the best part of Brown Butter

Maybe all were good but there must be one that is better than the others. So is Tasty's better? I think so, but have yet to try... 😅
I haven't tried the other recipes but my go to is Tasty's. It's soooo goood. The brown butter really makes a difference. Try it out :)

They don't look like originals. The chocolate doesn't leak. And it seems they not to be chewy.
