Agreed. It would have looked awful chopped, disproportionate. The giant hump in the floor needed to accommodate the suspension will already eat into its hauling capacity. Chopping it would have made it a real PITA to use to load, haul, or unload anything.

As someone who's never owned a pickup smaller then a 3/4 ton I can't help but look at the flatbed dually Yoder, and the mini Ford box truck, and think damn those would both be super handy to have around... And that aint even a lie.
Ever since I stared watching his channel I've been all over the internet lookin for whats available and close to me. I want one. Even an older ranger would be deadly.

So glad to hear someone else pulls their kids around on the hood of an old car. Growing up, my father had a 1950's chevy hood that he would pull behind his jeep. Some of my fondest memories in the snow as a kid. Love what you are doing here.

My buddies Mom would pull us down the road in her S10. We'd be getting killer sparks off the old hood we would ride on. Hood Sledding is what we called it. I can't imagine to many parents would let there kids to that today. Glad it's still going on.
