The Best DJ Headphones (For Me).

After my last headphones broke during an event I decided to see what was the most sought-after by the DJ community and review those; the V-Moda Crossfade M-100, Sennheiser HD 25, Audio Technica ATH-M50X, and Sony MDR7506.
It's time to unbox, test, and figure out which of these DJ headphones are best for me.

Good review, Lou. I've had the Sony MDR-V6 and MDR-7506 for years. Just had to replace a driver in one of the 7506's. Very easy if you know how to solder. I am NOT a fan of the coiled wire. Drives me nuts. MUCH prefer a straight wire.
I'd consider the HD-25s as my next set of cans, mainly because of the size, weight response and sensitivity.

The AT and Senn are my favorites out of the 4... i find the Vmoda to be the most uncomfortable headphone I've ever worn.

The one stat I was looking for was sound isolation. How well do they keep out the outside sound during a gig?

The AT is the most enclosing of the lot although very uncomfortable for my ears. Sony is next in line. VModa. Then Senn.
Personally I want some noise to come through. Too much isolation throws me off.

I tried IEM's and that was definitely too closed off from the crowd and room but I'm trying to be more conscience of the usual high output I have to use in my headphones and hoping to find something that isolates enough so I use a lower volume in the headphones but not feel like i'm in a different room from the crowd lol. @@djlouparis
