Thanks for the video. I bought Kirkland fully synthetic 5w 30w at Costco cost was 3.20 per quart. My 3.6 sub. took 6.5 quarts. Cost of my oil change with a quality filter at home was $32.00. price at Valvoline quick oil change with same quality oil and a cheaper oil filter. $125.
We just bought a used 2017 and I'm not sure what type of oil was used: synthetic or regular. I've heard its bad to switch and id prefer not to switch but idk how to determine what was used. What do you guys think about it...just risk it and go synthetic or regular.
I've watched 3 and yours is the best and most complete, with no bs. Thank you.
Interesting the difference between the 3.6 and 2.5. I have a 2.5 and the filter is thankfully next to the oil cap.

It comes stock with conventional, not synthetic in the 3.6R.
You can use either one
My 2018 Outback has always been synthetic.

@@kaosbboi owners manual for my wrx says 0W-20 full synthetic, go with what the manual says. Ultimately tho, synthetic is synthetic lol
Perfect! thank you.
Hey have you done any stereo upgrades to your legacy?? I can’t find videos on them anywhere.
