I love this fragrance. I use it on all my bed linens. I am an 83 year old man and agree that it is a scent for mature people. Your review was excellent and sensitive. Thank you.
I was surprised by this fragrance on the one hand I was worried that it come off as overly feminine, but I found my sniffing my arm over and over again. The Osmanthus or peony comes off sorta peachy to me and it lasts for quite some time for something seemingly so bright and light. The price is pretty prohibitive, but I will definitely snatch a full bottle up if it becomes available on discounters for less than 50 percent of its $300 retail for a 100 ml. I imagine this would be an excellent spring and maybe cooler summer wear in climate of Texas. Cheers Steven for putting out such enjoyable, valuable, and of course educational content.
I really like this one , i smelled some of aqua di parma fragrances and all of them are just nice , but this one astonished me, As you said I don’t think it’s very masculine but definitely every guy can wear it , i think i’ll buy it cause this what i like on a “ clean “ fragrance 👌🏻
I have plans to go to Nordstrom tonight. Will check this one out. I do enjoy floral scents that not so powdery. Enjoying Opus IX which is dark jasmine. Love it! Great job Profé!
There's nothing wrong with asking your friend to send you some stuff. I've got a couple Pocket Perfumes from Max and I enjoy them . I'll see about ordering this one from him. Best to ya Steven.
Always love your review! thank you so much, gonna hunt it in my country soon! and a bit of pronunciation tips from me if you allow. when you say "Alang-alang" it should be pronounce just like when you say the first letter of "Aquatic" or "Acqua". once again thank you so much for the review!
I bought another fragrance in this line called Sakura and, although I love the scent, the longevity is not good. I think I'll wait a bit longer until these hopefully get reduced in price. $220 (down from $275) for 100 ml doesn't scream "bargain" to me. 😁Great review! It does sound nice.
I tried this and the Sakura and went with the Osmanthus. The Sakura leaned too feminine for me. Osmanthus will be one of my spring summer scents and the dry down is very very nice!
The smell of osmanthus is one of the most beloved smell among Chinese people, so basically any brand that makes an osmanthus fragrance just wants to make more money in China, because China has a relatively smaller fragrance market compare to other countries. And no surprise, this one was a huge hit in China.
Had never heard of it but bought it downtown after I smelled it for just about 5 seconds on paper. Was in a bit of a hurry. Got home and sprayed it on my arm and after a little while it smelled like a woman’s perfume and didn’t like it. Contemplated selling it and actually posted it on FB Marketplace but I got low-balled and took it down. Fast forward a month….I pulled it out from under my bed and sprayed it on, this time the vibe I got from it was just such a clean upscale vibe that I’ve decided to keep it because I actually ended up liking it. I think it just took some getting used to.
@@Redolessence just a question, do you recommend any of the molecule fragarances to enhance sillage and longevity for weak.oerfumes? For example molecule 01 or iso super e? What would you recommend?
@@Redolessence Thanks for answering, I find them similar but ADP is lacking the leather note although my nose does not detect strong leather note in Ombre Leather as it does detect strong leather in Tuscan Leather
in this house which one in ur collection wins the best wow U smell great feedback ? and which one U suggest in massive compliment magnet for average nose public ? Tks S and all bless to ur lovely family enjoy ur trip in UK BTW do u mind to share international jetlag solution , in supplement or life routine ?
The fragrance that matches to your first question is Colonia Oud. I love wearing that one! The one that matches with your second question is Fico di Amalfi. It always does well on my skin. Thank you for the kind words! In terms of avoiding jetlag, I try to stay up late the night before, and I sleep as much as I can on the plan if I feel like my rest will be compromised. It all depends on where I'm traveling, what the time difference is, and how long the flight will be.
This is the house that started my fragrance Journey. Great to get your take on this one in particular 🙏
That's great to hear!

A beautiful scent when it dries down !!!! love it
I'll be getting the Colonia essenza for summer. Beautiful musk and woods with juicy citrus and neroli
Thanks for commenting!
Really? All I get from that one is soapy dryer sheet type scent very similar to Prada Amber pour homme.
Excellent review Steven! Based on the notes, this isn't one I would have considered for myself, but I'm going to have to test it out after this!
Thank you!
This is really great. Didn’t know Maxaroma carried it.
For sure!
Loved your open review and thoughts on notes and how men might see them.
Thank you so much, Ben!

Redolessence Indeed! I’d like to hear your thoughts on the Camelia as well.

And also the flower peony and the smell of it are kinda sacred in China.
This makes a lot of sense!
Nice review
Sounds fantastic

Herod from PDM has Osmanthus too, i think that was the note i didnt recognize in any scent before
Thanks for the comment!

Hi Steven. Out of curiosity what type of fragrances do you not like?
Steven, how does this compare to Osmanthus Elixir from OJ? Carlos just reviewed it I believe.
I have to revisit the OJ scent! I know Carlos speaks very highly of it!
lovely stuff
Thanks
awesome content
Many thanks!
Do you find that this one have a similar vibe to Tom Ford Ombre Leather?
I don't find the two similar at all.

Only offering i have from this house is fico di amalfi, and i like it, but its not 1 i gravitate to
Thank you for watching!
Exceptional is the word. My husband went nuts over. Went to a party and everyone was sniffing me. It was a crack up. 😂
When will Vivamor be reviewed?
I will happily review it soon! Thanks for the recommendation!
I got this one and Futura today
Can you advice on the performance of osmanthus
I like the house but they’re fragrances are weak so I stopped looking into them . Only one I have in my collection is Fico de amalfi
Thanks for sharing.
I love it i wana to buy it

I didn't know 220 bucks was a good price...
Hehehe. Sorry about that!
Is this for men?
I'll have to get my nose on it.
Definitely try it!
It is a clone of MFK Petit Matin.
You think so? Thanks for the comparison.
