      He was always vocal in interviews about how he noticed that nobody really used the skyhook after him, so he might really think that not many people took him as an inspiration (in reality nobody did the skyhook because it's so hard to master).

    My Deceased Brother in law made the All-Star team 3 times and knew and loved many of these guys but his career was cut short due to hip dysplasia. I learned of all these guys by following him so I wish he could have finished the course in basketball and been in this room also. He was a hustler extraordinaire and no pushover. I miss him still and his name was Bob Kauffman. Rest in peace.

    They better have had some camera crews in there getting at least 30+ minutes of footage of that celebration. That room will sadly not have a lot of those players in it again in the next 25 years. The footage of this should be in the hall of fame and be celebrated as one of the greatest moments in the history of the NBA. This 75th anniversary will be the pinnacle of the NBA and its history.

    As a former hooper, this was an amazing video, but it truly bothered me to not see Kobe in this room. I am glad that the big dawg, the late, great, Mr. Bill Russell was able to be seen on screen and to see himself in all of his glory one more time.
    Yes, some people were downright snubbed, but hey, you know they will make the next one. This game gave me so much and even saved my life a couple of times. Cheers to the legends who sacrificed to entertain us and bring us this game! 👊🏿🖤💪🏿🙏🏿🏀

    It was Great to see The Big E ( Elvin Hayes ) sitting next to Kareem . Their College game in 1968 is still the Greatest Rivalry and Game in College Basketball History . And The most anticipated game ever #1 vs #2 in front of 57,000 fans in the Astrodome, That night belong to the Big E

    It must be surreal as one of the older guys there like Bob Pettit who was around in the very early days, and just how much the league has grown/evolved... People are quick to say how easy the game was compared to today but without the old guys the NBA doesn't become what it is now.

    It's a beautiful thing, all of it. Seeing the old Celtics bunch up like college buddies, the older generation being recognized like it'd be crazy not to know them, and so many proud players humbled by their surroundings. Ball has always meant more than the game itself
