Hey everyone, thank you for watching. FYI we did NOT leave with the fire still burning. He left and I stayed at the shelter for a few more hours (I just didn't film this part). We ensured the fire was completely out before leaving.
I've never seen a fire built like that.....amazing. BIGGEST back pack on earth...her candles, the berry spray at the entrance, the blankets, clothing, meals, the shelter, the Love. A storybook I view over and over again.
Now that's the way to make a fire! I would do the same. No wimpy fire for me. Husband and wife gotta stay warm. You both always have a great time on your trips. So nice to see. I enjoy all your videos.
Camping is great we did this growing up,but there was a lot of us that built the camp up.Good clean times.Fall camping is my favorite not to hot or to cold
I think a winter campout would be fun. I lived in a shelter I made for about a month. A few friends helped with things like tarps and a homemade wood burner. It was quite wind proof but not well insulated but the wood burner made it toasty. My car was not far away but shelter was comfortable for sleeping. Can't wait to build another 1. Overnight company would be great and less boring😊
I want to camp like this once b4 I die. Having been raised in the country I’ve camped my entire life but in the south. I’m fascinated with the snow how it changes everything. Awesome video. 👍🏻

How can anyone give this a thumbs down? It's a cool camp. They had fun. They built a great fire, cooked their chow and spent quality time and then shared that with us. Those 76 Downers probably got to some point where they said (under their breath), "You don't do it like that! My method is the ONLY way to do it, and I'm unanimous in that opinion!". Then, they clicked a thumbs down, closed the channel and hurried on into their lonely life. But, I had fun! Thanx for sharing!

I will be afraid of bears but I think that is so romantic especially with somebody that you really in love with and to be there like that it would be more than once fire going on LOL

Thanks for your response, I thought you were in a beautiful, wild/natural forest. A tree farm for the purpose of making oxygen and improving the environment is an awesome change. Thanks for the explanation, I was too quick to judge and misunderstood.... I just really want to protect and plant trees, and that's what you already do.

@@margaretjones2055 well I'm 48 my female friends are all my age or older. And none of them want to spend a night out in the cold. They don't even like going out to start their cars to let them warm up.. Just my observation. Now when I was in my 30's I knew a few that would do it.. Peace!
Beautiful video ! But why there are holes in ur wall? It visible only when you are shooting video from inside . From another angle it seems that the house is covered with fir branches very well
Loved the attention to detail and extra work to start the fire....could have been done way easier...the Hudson Bay blanket..out in the woods on a camping trip?! My mother would have knocked your block off for that one! Those are expensive and not meant for camping in the woods! 😄. But the most hilarious moment was the glass French press coffee maker! Wow. Who does that...camping, so rough...in the woods? 😂. Dumb.

You might prefer it, I always thought a "dry" cold much better than the soggy wet ones in the south.

The only thing good about being outdoors in the winter is that there are no bugs or bears ! Nothing can beat summer camping though
