This rider has been levelling up and up their riding so he’s really at the stage he can take advantage of a bike like this. Thanks again for the support🧡
Interesting with the Rx gravel on the back, I assume you've got rough roads and that dropped chains happen with the 1x (and that a chain catcher would be tough to install if it's running that huge 60t!)
New subscriber here - stumbled onto this channel a week ago and have been binging your videos during the long hours it’s taken me to get my toddler to sleep in the middle of the night. There’s something supremely satisfying about the TLC you give these bikes and as someone who is obsessive about a spotless bike, I enjoy seeing someone with similar sensibilities. Thanks, and keep ‘em coming!
he will get a lot of compliments for that bike and will have a lot of fun riding it, i know cause i have the same frame build up as a roadbike. nice video!
@@Bikespeedsits a realy nice build up indeed. i even had a police officer "complementing" on that bike. the black and white color will never be out of style i guess.
We like to think some of the charm from our videos is that they’re real jobs. So the swapping over of the parts was just the best way for him! Thanks for watching🧡
Learnt from this one. I'm a mountain biker, so I don't see this as anything special, but I didn't know about the tyres, and appreciated the comments on chain links ne efficiency. Really interesting.
Thanks Peter! We don’t see many mountain bikes in our shop as we are predominantly known to the local road bikers but we bring you as many MTB videos as we can🧡
Glue is the “proper” way to do it so as a shop it’s what we offer. It is always hard and there’s no trick to it other than patience so tape isn’t a bad option for a home mechanic but glue is preferable🧡
Because he has a larger chainring on the bike he can have the chain in the middle of the cassette, producing a straighter chain line and more efficiency where as if he had 58t before he might've been further down the cassette and losing watts.
Hi Shaun this stand we’ve had for years and isn’t quite right for us. Even similar ones aren’t the perfect answer so we’re hoping to generate enough money from our website to design our own. For now only the greases are available but hopefully we’ll have a stand for you in the near future 🧡
That really depends. Every bike throws up problems. So it’s more about how long the problems take to solve. But usually for a full rebuild at least 5-6 hours and then problems on top🧡
We don’t even know where we got this but it isn’t the perfect answer to our problem. It has 12 holes and isn’t quite the quality we want so our plan is to grow the website and develop one for you all🧡
Hi, loves your cleaning video a lot! Do you have any suggestions on how to clean a matte bright color frame? My frame bottom bracket area is in orange color but since it got some oil or I don't know what have been sticking there but I can't clean it at all. When I touched the surface it is smooth like other clean part of the frame so quite weird...
Without experiencing it myself that’s very tricky to answer. Trying degreaser is the first suggestion. If you haven’t tried one we have all our cleaning products on www.bikespeeds.com that you can try and the sprays we use work wonders for us. If not the polish we use sometimes gets smears off although some people don’t like using the polish on matte we’ve never had a problem🧡
This is why i subscribed would be a bonus if you could do a weight in for general bikes, all the weight in's are the 10k+ bikes not the real world for most of us!
Couldn't get my rear mech to index properly, tried everything, hanger alignment, b-screw, limit screws, etc. It Just wouldn't drop onto the smallest cog. In a last effort Iubricated the mech pivot points, boom, indexes perfectly. Thank you.
That varies so much there isn’t a one fits all answer. We’re believers in getting it exact and will research components if we dont know what they are meant to be so our advice would be to google it and get it exact rather than roughly🧡
One question about your component cleaning process: Do you need to rinse the soapy water off when you scrub off the degreaser after the ultrasonic cleaner?
MORE TT and Time Trial bikes, PLEASE!
Hopefully we should see more coming in as summer rolls around 🧡
this is the stuff I subscribed for!
Thanks Matt!🧡
TT bikes are just awesome to look at - you've done a great job of bringing this one to A1 standard. Also - 60T chainring - quads of dooooooom
This rider has been levelling up and up their riding so he’s really at the stage he can take advantage of a bike like this. Thanks again for the support🧡
High-end bikes are awesome! Very nice job, congrats.
Glad you enjoyed it🧡
ohhhh I got excited when i saw a P3. I have one, and i have re-built one for a friend. A well built, high end frame - well done again guys.
Awesome! This one will have been up your street then. Enjoy all your work🧡⚙️
Interesting with the Rx gravel on the back, I assume you've got rough roads and that dropped chains happen with the 1x (and that a chain catcher would be tough to install if it's running that huge 60t!)
Beautiful bike, hope the rider gets a PB TT next time out 👌
We’ve been told it’s very aero!🧡
I watch 10+ videos from this channel and i love it feeling relaxed ❤
Wow glad you’re enjoying the whole channel, thanks for watching!🧡
I’m glad you’re finally going to building bikes, I am a bike building video junkie! My favorite video!❤
It’s not a job we get often in the shop but we film as many interesting jobs as we can. Glad you enjoyed it🧡⚙️

TLC - that's a really good way of describing what Lee does on each bike
Thanks very much for joining us! Glad you’re enjoying all the content and hopefully you’ll enjoy more in the future🧡⚙️

Another excellent job well done 😊what a chain ring that is 😮
Biggest we’ve seen on a customers bike! Thanks Martin🧡⚙️
Awsome build and great job.
Thanks very much!🧡
I really enjoy watching your work, the art of being a mechanic is beautiful! Learning from your videos is really satisfying. Thank You!
Thanks very much for the kind comment!🧡
Cervelo bikes are timeless because they were the pioneers.
Absolutely!
Love this rebuild! 🚴🏽
Thank you!🧡
Awesome, hope the Customer has a great win!
We’ve been told it is significantly faster which is great to hear 🧡
Fantastic changeover and what a bike too. 🎉 Well done 🙌
Thanks very much for the support again and again🧡
What a beast and what I like was his old bike was donor bike for the new one , lovely job 👍

Very happy customer I'm sure, great job as always 👍🏽👍🏽...
Thanks for watching Angela🧡
Old and new tech merged into one bike.
What a fantastic transition over to the new frame. That 60t is a monster chain ring.! I wonder why it was paired with the arc rear mech 🤔
This rear mech has a clutch that could help preventing chain drops that are more likely to happen on a 1x setup.
@@GauGaut ah ha, so just like my GRX rear mech. Makes perfect sense, thanks.
Yes it had all the adjustment we needed 🧡

All good. Your vids are really satisfying to watch. Learning bits and bobs about road bikes is a big plus.
Amazing job ❤
Thanks very much!🧡⚙️
Beautiful machine, work of art on wheels
Agreed!🧡
Another great video thanks. I would like to ask you what is the difference between double-sided tape and contact glue when you install tubular tires.
Tape is easier and generally less messy (especially for the inexperienced) but glue offers a rolling resistance benefit when done well.
Glue is the “proper” way to do it so as a shop it’s what we offer. It is always hard and there’s no trick to it other than patience so tape isn’t a bad option for a home mechanic but glue is preferable🧡
Fantastic effort and make it so enjoyable to watch
Thanks very much. We appreciate the support🧡
Very nice Accutron!😍
Thank you!🧡
When doing the torques at the end could you please display on screen the torque settings you are using. Great video as always. Thanks
Congratulations hitting 23k subs !
Thanks very much! It’s a slow road but we’re working we hard as we can🧡
crazy bicycle and a cracking service as always, but how does the size of the chainring affect chainline or am i getting it wrong?
Because he has a larger chainring on the bike he can have the chain in the middle of the cassette, producing a straighter chain line and more efficiency where as if he had 58t before he might've been further down the cassette and losing watts.
@@zacandrijasevich4986 wow that's some margins i'd say, never thought of that tbf
Yes it is very small margins but we love to see some marginal gains🧡
Very nice that Accutron Sir
Thank you very much!
proud to own a cervelo P3
Enjoy it! It’s a great great bike🧡
i love you watch collection !
Thanks very much!🧡
The Vintage Advantage on the Rampage
Great swap over. Interesting tips with the furniture polish and foam inserts. Geez, that chain ring is big. Did the rear derailleur have a clutch?
The derailleur did have a clutch and yes the chain ring was huge! Thanks again for watching and glad you enjoyed the details in this one 🧡
Awesome job!!
Thanks Tom!🧡⚙️
Fantastic....🎉🎉🎉
If I buy the grease kit could you give us a link on where to get holder tnanks

Great bikes, stellar performance👊🏻 Love your watch, what’s the brand?
This is a bulova! Thanks for watching again Lahai🧡
I'm impressed with your attention to detail. Beautiful build! What liquid do you use inside your ultrasonic cleaner?
Degreaser🧡
Awesome & Thanks :)
Thanks for watching!🧡
How long does it usually take to strip down, clean and build back up?

Prefect 👍💯

Just wondering where you got the holder for the syringes from?
We don’t even know where we got this but it isn’t the perfect answer to our problem. It has 12 holes and isn’t quite the quality we want so our plan is to grow the website and develop one for you all🧡
Those conti tubs have butyl tubes, the Pro ltd versions have latex tubes and are another level if you can find them to buy.
Great tips!🧡

60t chainring. Mate, thats a dinner plate 😂.
lol. Biggest one we’ve seen in the shop🧡
Nice build, but isn't that chain on the wrong way? I thought Shimano chains usually have engraving on the side that faces out
here we go 🤤🤤
interested in a follow up....... with how he liked the new setup... and how his times were improved

Awesome job well done. Do you ship stuff from your shop to Ireland.
Yes we do! Thanks very much for the support and we’d love to see you on the website 🧡
Can you make a video on logic behind the torque settings, basically how much torque has to be applied to every bolt on a bike?
That varies so much there isn’t a one fits all answer. We’re believers in getting it exact and will research components if we dont know what they are meant to be so our advice would be to google it and get it exact rather than roughly🧡
how long do you let the wax cool before braking the links?
5-10 minutes till it’s solid🧡

Yes 🧡⚙️
I really love you content thank you so much i watch everything
Btw i have a time trial competition tomorrow wish me luck
Hope it went well! Glad you enjoyed the video!🧡⚙️
Hell have competitive advantage since he has rim brakes😉
This is the way!🧡
Yes Sir
Thanks Brian🧡🫡
What bb fits this frame?
Wow 😊
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it🧡⚙️
I just realized the p3 has the same drop out as a track bike
Now I’m thinking is it possible
Lol!🧡⚙️
By the way, nice website!
Thank you Saka🧡
Vintage TIMEX?
Bulova🧡
👍
Always appreciated🧡
A TT bike with external cables?
Would a aero road bike with internal cables be more aero and faster than a TT bike with external cables?🤔
Not likely. The cables will produce a lot less drag I imagine than an aero setup and riding position🧡
Hi guys I can't get my tubular to glue to the disc frame without small lumps cry😂😂
lovely jubly
Thank you🧡
