Can you elaborate on the time and how its calculated. I know standard military time but what does the Z stand for and how do you convert "Z" time to local time? Also, why wouldnt the airport display its own local time in its METAR?

Z stands for Zulu and it's basically what the time is in Greenwich UK. It's important for aviation.

Hey love your channel and videos, but in my humble opinion it could do with a quieter intro or not an intro at all, considering it's for education. It can get annoying to skip through it everytime and can be quite jarring in the classroom.
