My parents raised me in an affluent area of the UK and they choose to still live there. Their neighbours are exactly the same: Petty, snooty, busy bodies. I'd rather live elsewhere, I wouldn't move back if I got a free house there! Nasty people.
I vote for the pig, pigs are smarter then dogs they are one of the top five smartest animals. This should not even be an issue. Let's sign a petition on who wants the pig to stay!
Shut up you morons, do you even research, have you ever met a pig that isn’t in hard farm labour? They’re lovely animals, they’re calm when they get used to you (at first they can be quite squeamish and scream a lot but they mature), they’re quite smart (this isn’t seen in farm pigs because they can’t learn inside a farm), and can even do certain things like raising dogs. I heard of this pig that was looking after two puppies like they were it’s own.
Of course pigs are pets! They’re so lovely and sweet. If it wasn’t for my local council not allowing farm animals as pets I’d certainly have my own. Tucker seems like a sweetheart.
As a kid, I knew a man who loved his pig so much that when he died, the man had him buried in the man's Cadillac because the pig loved being in that car. He was not a wealthy man, but loved his pig.
How is this any different than owning a 180 pound St. Bernard? It's a big, lazy, furry animal on a leash that shits in its own yard, makes low pitch noises, and goes for walks on a leash. What difference does the species make?
Gotta love the critics. I have a Yorkie Terrier mix that has helped me through some very stressful and emotional times. I had to move out of state and pretty much be on my own away from my family for 3 years. I'm not good at meeting new people. But animals now when you are down and out. Don't know what I would have done without her.
It was conviant for him to claim he needed a an emotional support animal and if she has allergies there are dog breeds she could of gotten all four of my dogs are for those who suffer allergies two yorkies a chinese crested and poodle they did not need to get a pig their bull shitters
Mr. Good boy Points yes they are an animal made for the purpose of eating by selective breeding, originally they were just animals. But, I’ve been vegan for two years and I love pigs. A lot of people dislike any videos with pigs because they feel morally guilty and they automatically do not like the idea. At least that’s my theory
Alexis Waller they really aren’t that bad, the ones raised in farms are raised so they can’t move much and not much space to poo and it isn’t cleaned much so it piles up, as well as them being made to eat tons.
I am so sorry your family had to go through this. I have two mini pigs who have shown me a love and have given me support through emotional times in my life just like your Tucker has done for you. I pray for nothing but good things for your family and for Tucker.
Thank god for busy bodies. I mean if they didn't blame all their problems on people living miles down the road what would they do? Look in the mirror and discover they're miserable people due to poor decisions?

I have terminal cancer. My pig my emotional support animal. I would not want to get out of bed without her. Pigs are very very clean and very very intelligent. Absolutely great pets. It is ignorant to argue anything else.
Late to the party..why can people not mind their own business??? These adorable pigs are harming nobody, belong to loving families, are clean and smart and are loved. They are not a threat to anyone. These people should get a life. One pig does not a farmyard make.
It can’t be any louder or messier that a dog. People are just afraid of what’s different. You didn’t see anyone their age complaining at city council just a bunch of dusty ol’ boomers.
I did notice that the people who are opposing this family having a potbelly pig as a pet are seemingly a bunch of old retirees with nothing better to do but nag, whine and complain about anything and everything under the sun and are probably bored out of their minds with their own lives….!
That is the problem with HOA's. People move into these HOA communities and then dictate that every home owner live the way they live. They want to dictate what pet you have, dictate what color your house can be, what color your fence can be and it better match your neighbors fence, same with shed better be the same color as your house. Better not plant a vegetable garden to have your own fresh vegetables or change the oil in your car in your driveway. No maintaining of your vehicle on the property. Can only wash the car. There are people that take daily walks around the neighborhood specifically to see what other neighbors are doing and to make sure they are not doing something they don't approve of not walking for exercise purpose though they may make the claim. No they just want to be noisey and butt into other peoples business.
Let's face it, people don't want to see a pet pig roaming their streets because it may force them to think of pigs as anything other than faceless bacon.
It’s really quite sad how humans are so heartless. I’m one of those who has sympathy for every animal (sometimes even pests). It may sound kinda weird and this isn’t related to my views but once I left a tub of water out and managed to invite mosquitoes and a few days later it was filled to the brim with mosquito larvae 😂 I let them stay because it was kind of cool to watch them swim. But pigs are the animal I feel most sorry for.
What is wrong with these neighbors? I know the need to keep things nice for property value. I have lived next to human beings who kept their yard looking like a sty without any pigs. However, it seems like the only thing the neighbors are objecting to is the actual presence of the pig itself, which is ridiculous. It is obviously not a farm animal. The size of the pig, the way that it behaves, the fact that it is an indoor pet...these are not the hallmarks of a soon-to-be ham sandwich. To object, not in response to any adverse action (noise, smell, etc...) but only to some imaginary line in the sand is just narrow-minded foolishness.
i understand homeowners association but it sux. my fiance who is a country boy hates city people for moving in and making his mom get rid of her horse. we still keep our chickens though.
There's a lady in my city who has a pig for a pet, and every time the pig is seen being walked downtown, people just want to pet him and take pictures.
I have a pet pig and a few dogs. My neighbor complained about my dogs so again the natural thing and got twice as many dogs. This is probably why he never complained about the Pig.
He's a lovely creature. I understand and believe you. Some people are total cretins. This man would not use his child as a tool to keep a pig if it wasn't true, doing so would be disrespectful and wrong. Not only this, but the fact he has a pig is a possible sign of being an emotional person.
the emotional support is a good point and I understand that, I used to be depressed and asked my parents for a pet pig(not mentioning that depressed part to them since I usually keeo things to myself) and it really helped me when I got my pig I felt myself progressing but sadly my pig got stolen from my back yard,we don't have a fence (but he was kept in a cozy pen) so that was a major reason for that happening. my parents offered to buy me another pig but I didn't want another pig because only having my pig for couple of moths I got attached to him so much and I don't want to loose another animal....
My next door neighbor had a pig for years a bigger one than these and never once did he ever cause a problem for any of us neighbors. He did not smell or make a peep.
I have pet pigs and its no different than having a dog. Its so sad to know there are people who have nothing else to do then to sit around and find fault and cause trouble for others.
Why can't the city council specify that the exemption is only being given for a single pig being kept as a pet, but not for a farm raising pigs as livestock? It doesn't seem so difficult to me.
I just googled it and they hot to keep their pig for one yr and then they have to re-apply for another permit, which they will probably get.. YEA!!! Those neighbors need to mind their own business!.. That sweet pig is their beloved pet!
I thought that too... but they grabbed my heartstrings and started plucking them when the man said he lost his 17 month old child in his arms.. man.. I think at that point.. I'd say keep the pig you poor soul... I can't imagine that at all... I love my baby girl so much and could never imagine and don't want to. Idk.
Let's sign a petition on who wants the pig to stay!
me, I do!
I hate people that think that pigs are just nasty farm animals pigs are nice and sweet if you treat them right I know this because I show pigs
Pigs are fucking nasty
They are nasty they shit more then a saint Bernard the roll in mud eat from troff and stink
@@alexiswaller3065 pigs are actually quite clean when kept in a clean environment. Normally tends to work that way
Of course pigs are pets!
What happened? I hope they got to keep the pig
Pigs are literally just dogs. I hate people
How is this any different than owning a 180 pound St. Bernard? It's a big, lazy, furry animal on a leash that shits in its own yard, makes low pitch noises, and goes for walks on a leash. What difference does the species make?
That's what I'm thinking. Dogs cause more problems and are more dangerous than a pig. Pigs are peaceful
@@alexiswaller3065 now this is getting embarrassing. You really hate pigs don’t you?
@@alexiswaller3065 girl be quiet
It's a pig. Not a fu### elephant. So what's the problem??
Pigs don't leave little shit they leave big shit and it probably smells
Mr. Good boy Points so what they haven’t always been livestock you know
Alexis Waller they really aren’t that bad, the ones raised in farms are raised so they can’t move much and not much space to poo and it isn’t cleaned much so it piles up, as well as them being made to eat tons.
I am so sorry your family had to go through this. I have two mini pigs who have shown me a love and have given me support through emotional times in my life just like your Tucker has done for you. I pray for nothing but good things for your family and for Tucker.
You know what this is all about? People are just uncomfortable w/anything different that they're not familiar with.
Glad we're past this nonsense. Pigs are precious and sweet
Thank god for busy bodies. I mean if they didn't blame all their problems on people living miles down the road what would they do? Look in the mirror and discover they're miserable people due to poor decisions?
It’s their home. It’s their property. If they want to own farm animals, no one should be able to tell them they can’t.
How does a pig decrease the value of your home? That makes no sense.
That's Nazi Logic.
pigs are actually smarter than dogs
One day, I will have a house with a yard and save pigs & cows from factory farms... :)
*cattle
Yes this were we stand up and fight speak for them many are kill abuse but we as human that have a heart get no right stop killing them law has to be change they are same as any animal give them life
Not gonna succed 😂
We will succeed our dreams of saving pet animals and farmed animals will come true in these generations to come. One day it will be taboo to eat someone with the same blood color just like our human blood colour
@@ttk519 Well aren't you just a source of inspiration, encouragement, and hope.
I have terminal cancer. My pig my emotional support animal. I would not want to get out of bed without her. Pigs are very very clean and very very intelligent. Absolutely great pets. It is ignorant to argue anything else.
Hope you are doing well send love and light !!!
Late to the party..why can people not mind their own business??? These adorable pigs are harming nobody, belong to loving families, are clean and smart and are loved. They are not a threat to anyone. These people should get a life. One pig does not a farmyard make.
I hope they were able to keep him. People should mind their own damn business. What's the big deal? He isn't bothering anyone.
a fucking greed
pigs are the 3rd most intelligent animal!!! can be trained quicker than any dog & so clean!!!!
squid is the most intellegence animal
Nyzma Kumala no its not-dolphins,apes,parrots...and the list continues, squid is also on the list just not in the top 5
+Red Thunder lol you're wrong bro
+Red Thunder lol you're wrong bro
@@xel3783 I think your top 5's are right but you got them in the completely wrong order
Pigs are beautiful and some people are full complaints over nothing
Let's face it, people don't want to see a pet pig roaming their streets because it may force them to think of pigs as anything other than faceless bacon.
It’s really quite sad how humans are so heartless. I’m one of those who has sympathy for every animal (sometimes even pests). It may sound kinda weird and this isn’t related to my views but once I left a tub of water out and managed to invite mosquitoes and a few days later it was filled to the brim with mosquito larvae 😂 I let them stay because it was kind of cool to watch them swim. But pigs are the animal I feel most sorry for.
The people who reported the pig owners reminded me of Gladys Sharp from Over the Hedge
If I had a neighbor who had elephants and ostriches that would be awesome.
Bruh leave the pig alone, if it was a dog no one would say anything. Those dog Simps are just jealousy
How does allowing an animal that isn't causing problems set a precedent that would make it difficult to ban an animal that does cause problems?
i understand homeowners association but it sux. my fiance who is a country boy hates city people for moving in and making his mom get rid of her horse. we still keep our chickens though.
There's a lady in my city who has a pig for a pet, and every time the pig is seen being walked downtown, people just want to pet him and take pictures.
God bless you Tucker!!!
God I miss the days when we fought over whether or not someone should be able to have a pig as a pet.
As long as they clean up after him and the neighborhood doesn't smell like a pig farm there's no problem. Let the people have their pig!
Pigs are such a joy to be around and so loving. Who could possibly hate them??
If only these pig opponents went as hard on human trafficking, unemployment rates, and hunger....
"pigs sleep for 16-18 hours" lmaooo my dude is only up for 6-8 hours a day???
I have a pet pig and a few dogs. My neighbor complained about my dogs so again the natural thing and got twice as many dogs. This is probably why he never complained about the Pig.
The pigs are nicer than the Karens complaining about them....
He's a lovely creature. I understand and believe you. Some people are total cretins.
This man would not use his child as a tool to keep a pig if it wasn't true, doing
so would be disrespectful and wrong. Not only this, but the fact he has a pig is
a possible sign of being an emotional person.
Pigs & dogs aren’t that different, pigs are just a bit smarter
the emotional support is a good point and I understand that, I used to be depressed and asked my parents for a pet pig(not mentioning that depressed part to them since I usually keeo things to myself) and it really helped me when I got my pig I felt myself progressing but sadly my pig got stolen from my back yard,we don't have a fence (but he was kept in a cozy pen) so that was a major reason for that happening. my parents offered to buy me another pig but I didn't want another pig because only having my pig for couple of moths I got attached to him so much and I don't want to loose another animal....
People need to understand why others love pigs and they are clever aswell.
Old people can be so miserable.
My next door neighbor had a pig for years a bigger one than these and never once did he ever cause a problem for any of us neighbors. He did not smell or make a peep.
Get a leaf blower and run it all day. This will give them something to complain about
I have pet pigs and its no different than having a dog. Its so sad to know there are people who have nothing else to do then to sit around and find fault and cause trouble for others.
Now if my neighbor gets 15 dogs I’m going to file a complaint because I don’t want a dog pound in my neighborhood. People are so ridiculous.
There is probably poor folks not having enough in that city, and they’re talking abiut a pig 🙄
A pot-bellied pig is not a farm animal.
Some people just want to control everyone else
Pigs are close to humans. So much that some of their organs are used for human drafts !
Those pigs are beautiful I'd rather a pig than a dog
Ppl freaking out over 1 pig! 1 pig!!! I can understand if it’s like 5 plus pigs but 1 pig!!!! Ppl are just pathetic now a days.
There are way to many Karens. Some people need something to do.
I love animals too but I feel like this didn’t address the opposing side’s views. There was no mention of what neighbors had to deal with
I thought that too... but they grabbed my heartstrings and started plucking them when the man said he lost his 17 month old child in his arms.. man.. I think at that point.. I'd say keep the pig you poor soul... I can't imagine that at all... I love my baby girl so much and could never imagine and don't want to. Idk. I make emotionally charged decisions when kids are involved.🤦🏻♀️have the pig!😭😭😭
