Khazrak one-eye starts at war with middenland because it was Boris Todbringer who took his eye in battle, a year later Khazrak returned the favor. A little bit of lore for you.
I like that Todbringer took Khazrak's eye in the heat of battle, but when Khazrak took Todbringer's, he pinned him down, very deliberately gouged his eye out with his horn, then left him alive.
*Min-o-tor or Mine-o-tor both it would seem are perfectly fine ways to pronounce minotaurs. Although I believe I should be pronouncing it Mine-o-tor as I'm British lol. I'll remedy this in part 2 haha!*
The Beastmen just seem OP. Their Chaos corruption is far greater than Chaos itself, as is their eventual savings on units(50% on all units just from 1 building chain), the spell you just used is more powerful than Fate of Bjurma, but is an AOE spell with an insane radius, they are able to hide whenever they encamp, they can do a full heal up every 2 of 7 turns(or another bonus of choice), they can get a grey herd extra stack if they are on a roll(which the before mentioned heal makes sure that they can almost always be on) and they have a high ambush chance when attacking normally, allowing you to retreat and go in again to get another shot at ambushing. Remember how hard you had it with early Chaos gameplay? This seems like a breeze in comparison.
I agree. There seems to be little to no penalty for retreating from a battle you initiated. And on top of it, later on when it is supposed to get harder for them due to their lack of heavy infantry Chaos Warriors will be stomping in from the north to finish your campaign objectives for you.
Yeah true true... they seem derpy on the campaign; although a good chaos army is rather *very* strong, of course I haven't seen the Beastmen fully in action. But as far as battles go, Chaos still seems better. Campaign wise for Chaos, you need to manage the units over the course of the campaign, since it is hard to reinforce them on the fly. It's kind of their biggest challenge, baring the terrifying beginning part of their campaign. Chaos also seem better then Beastmen in sieging also, and razing cities is important for chaos corruption. That being said the beastmen can bring other banners with ease reinforce the siege. If only the beastmen have less of a chance of ambushing for each consecutive attack.
Yeah Beastmen just look too easy. That spell (devolve i think) was just WAY over the top OP. He wrecked half is army with a single spell. And being able to keep retreating from battle to try getting an ambush just seems BS to me, even against the AI.
Critique Report: The Beasts Of Chaos! Important Note: Time The Horny Enchanter Has My Seal Of Approval! Praise: Bulldozing the enemy in the ambush of Tobaro. Double-teaming Magritta. Pinning most of the enemy in the ambush of Bilbali. Blocking the cavalry's escape in the ambush of Bilbali. Finishing off the Carassonne force. Treeline flank in the siege of Brionne. Well-placed Viletide and Devolve in the siege of Castle Carcassonne. Mistakes: Buggering up the attack on the army outside Magritta. Suggested Actions: Plough into Quennelles before they can mount any kind of proper defence. Overall: Very Strong Start.
Did you mean don't let my dreams remain dreams because otherwise you would never have dreamed in the first place so you could never have any hope of your dreams being realised.
Start selling out advertising space to razor companies in the form of Razorgor Herd unit names. For example, one could be called "Gillette ProShield Razorgor Herd"
that moment when you want to know what a bray herd is and i go from that to reading for like a hour about morghur the master of skulls just shows how deep warhammer goes and how it drags you in and traps you lol
Also you have to name a beast shaman "Morghur's acolyte" or just "Morghur." He is my favourite beastmen character, in the lore he is essential chaos incarnate. His body is in a constant state of flux, always sprouting new limbs, claws, mouths, etc. His aura is was chaotic that in the warhammer fantasy his special rule was that a random model around him would turn into a chaos spawn under your control. Morghur is just fun times all around. But of course Tim the Goat Enchanter takes priority.
You'd think that Malagor would be the faction leader since he can basically go into any war herd and command respect from it. Khazrak simply leads one of the many war herds
Also additional thoughts for bestigor names (with lore significance): -pestigors: bestigors dedicated to Nurgle. -slaangors: bestigors dedicated to Slaanesh -Tzaangors: bestigors dedicated to Tzeentch -Khorngors: bestigors dedicated to Khorne
Very interesting. I go around looting the little things to then please the dark gods even more when I kill their oh so beloved and developed cities. (I usually gain 15k for the major cites around turn 50)
bunch of names for lords and units (from the beastmen lore) : lord : Gorthor, Morghur, Moonclaw, Kartok great-horn, Graktar minotaur : Gorhok, Taurox, Khorgor, Urgotgoth wizard : Slugtongue, Darkoth, Rarkos centigor herd : Ghorros' thoushand offsprings (that was one horny horse!) bestigor herd : the profanators, the red pride Ungor herd : Ungrol's outcasts any unit : the scourge/bane/death/protectors(etc.) of "the Drakwald"/"Arden"/"the great forest"/"the herdstone"(etc.) others : Razorgor names : Piggy, Babe, Bacon, Snout, Ham-mer, Mister Pig, Porky, etc.
Did you know with the Shadow-gave, you can make a free army of free Chaos spawn? Not only that, you can build an infinite number of armies with the chaos spawn, and they literally cost no upkeep. I found this out and just spammed chaos spawn in Warhammer 1 in the mid game. It was stupidly OP. I could crush literally anyone. Nothing says AI hell like unbreakable, anti-infantry, armor piercing, poison- inflicting demons that are so fanatic, they will literally take on Sigmar himself for you for just 2 pennies up front pay, and no more no less.
Name a razorgor herd Bacon's Revenge. Basically, the souls of all the pigs slaughtered in the 'civilized' lands have coalesced into one malignant force. The powers of Chaos have used this force to form a group of destructive razorgors known as Bacon's Revenge to turn human and dwarf alike into a salty, delicious meat, best served with eggs.
A name for a Minotaur unit could be: "the Bloodgreedy", Bloodgreed is their special rule in warhammer fantasy. It means that they eat everyone essentially.
An advice for the spells, first weaken everyone with that massive AOE drain, it does damage equal so no one dies but everyone get low health. Use them that little blast as finisher.
+lionheartx10 just for fun, in the warhammer game Razorgors were considered the ugliest model produced by Games Workshop ever! They were called Pumbagors because they looked so much like Pumba from the Lion King =)
hey Lionheat i'm a new sub and so far i'm really enjoying watching your videos I think they're awesome for the past two days ive been watching your chaos empire and vampire counts back to back to back but this playthrough is defiantly one of my favorites the beastmen are so cool I can't wait to see the next episode on this and I hope Warhammer will be on your channel for a long time and do be safe and stay awesome :)names for the Minotors can either be the dare devils or the doom divers
today is the 14th of July 2021, or for the non superfans of warhammer, the day the new beastmen dlc for warhammer 2 drops! It is crazy watching the beginnings as I play the newly revamped ones. Also! Lionheart... your comments of how arrows are starting to feel good again. you had no idea what you got into... Sisters of Averlorn doom stacks wood elf gods... I laughed so hard hearing the past you saying how archers were starting to feel nice again. lolol
Bohemond D'Bastonne is pretty good against the Undead... he received from King Louen special magic items against the undead, like the Sword of Couronne, that used to be an instant killer against most of the non living weirdos!
An ambushed army should always deploy in the order of cards the game sorts them in. So the general will be at the head of the column, then infantry, missiles, cavalry and then artillery. If you look at the enemy’s army roster before clicking fight battle, you should be able to see how they’ll deploy before actually going into the battle map. Also would you kindly call one of your Ungor Raiders in Khazrak’s army, the Wasteland Rangers.
you can send multiple units up through towers, so in the siege battle in the end, you didn't have to pull the spearmen back, just let them go up through tower
Finish off the Empire and Middenland before they can get too large, then come south to fight the Dwarves and Border Princes, because they're going to exhaust themselves against each other and the Orcs...
hope you have a fun campaign lionheart and if you want to not be slaughtered go to destroy the empire as later on they will pose a threat so destructive that even chaos is fearful of it
name for gore beast "el'toro" Backstory: El'toro lived a happy life in a cave in the forest at the edge of the empire. He enjoyed his life which included his wife and two small children. One day on his way home from getting berries for his family he heard gunfire and saw smoke rising from the area his cave was in.He dropped the berries he was carrying and ran to his home hoping would make it in time but fearing he was already to late. ok When he arrived he was greeted with the scene of dozens of empire soldiers sprawled about the clearing in front of his home and to his horror the bodies of his family engulfed in flames. He then dropped to his knees and with tears in his eyes roared his pain out for all to hear. Sadly he had failed to save his family. He sat there for hours staring at the flames.while he sat in his sadness a group of poachers came apon him and seeing an opportunity cast a net over el'toro and restrained him. el'toro having no fight in him did not resist as the men moved him along constantly stabbing him with their spears. The men took el'toro to what seemed to be a sort of arena. here the men sold el'toro. And there he stayed for 12 years. He was starved and Beaten near the point of madness. He was forced to fight and kill all manner of creatures from trolls to black orcs and even fellow beast men all of which he was forced to eat to survive. One day while he sat in his cage el'toro heard talk from a few captured beast men that a beast man with one eye was gathering a great heard and was soon to be on the war path. He knew that this one eyed slayer of men would be his salvation so he plotted his escape. He waited for his next fight and when the pit masters came to let him out of his cage and take him to his fight he turned on them and tore them to pieces. He then went about slaughtering every man he found and then leveling the arena that had been his prison for so long. He now makes his way to the one eyed slaughter to fight for him and unleash his vengeance apon the realm of men
A name for a hero: Nar Garzhvog . A character from a similar race called Urgals in the books by Christopher Paolini! P.S Thanks for all the great videos!!!
The mace noticable quite blatantly but he also has a dagger he could have stabbed into Khaazark's leg to buy time to get to his feet but he must have failed the leadership test
name the shaman Tim the wild! names for units: Hamsters Shaggers ("your mother was a hamster"), Horned Stompers, Steak's Revenge, Bhaa-d Asses (for goatmen), Bloody Moony (for werewolf), Moscow Heroes (for the more reder beastmen), Tayis Krav (Combat Ram in heberew), Moshmosh The Ox (after a cartoon featured an ox, for a single character), coconut smashers (for cavalry)
When you're showing off the units, as you did at the start of the final battle, maybe click the "start deployment" button so the middle of the screen isn't dominated by the cue.
Excellent head start! We were calling for spirit leech/fate of bjuna nerfs, now we have huge aoe fate of bjuna, and in description it says they have "high chance" to resist the damage :D Think using that against vampire counts death blob, mmm nice. As the skill advice, can you check special lord yellows of Khazrak? I mean the skills at top tier, where epic items are shown.
the minotars should be nammed Theseus' bane or The Sir Loins of Beef, Name the bray-shaman Wild Tim The Enchanter. You're other leader should be named Bazrak Mad Cow I'd go for the increased income from razing and raiding. You're gonna need it in the late game. Just remember how much money you got with your choas hoards when you did that upgrade.
Beware Dwarf Slayers because in patch 2 they got a armour piercing, melee defense and health buff, although they are a bit slower now (they're also cheaper now).
This game is like a remake version of Heroes of Might and Magic 3 (1999), which was my childhood favourite game. I also hope there's a total war mod for Homm3/Homm2/Homm4
name a Minotaur unit "The Cattle-clysm"
Khazrak one-eye starts at war with middenland because it was Boris Todbringer who took his eye in battle, a year later Khazrak returned the favor. A little bit of lore for you.
There's a very heated rivalry between Khazrak and Todbringer each of them is responsible for the lose of the others eye
On another note my name suggestion for a Beastlord isTargkus Bloodhoof
I like that Todbringer took Khazrak's eye in the heat of battle, but when Khazrak took Todbringer's, he pinned him down, very deliberately gouged his eye out with his horn, then left him alive.

If your bray shaman is not called Tim the Wild Enchanter by next episode I will be sorely disappointed.

They are utter garbage when not played by a person. Srsly half the beastmen get annihilated in the first 10 rounds.
hans maier
I don't doubt it. Their strength lies in magic and non-throw-everything-forward tactics, both of which the AI is crap at.

Thanks for bring us this early! I will be starting tonight with a campaign! So excited to share it with everyone.
Obviously a unit or hero needs to be "You can't milk those"
Bloody brilliant start to the campaign, thank you! Was really looking forward to this one!
that moment when you want to know what a bray herd is and i go from that to reading for like a hour about morghur the master of skulls just shows how deep warhammer goes and how it drags you in and traps you lol
Dude you are my favourite video maker for Warhammer. Been recommending your videos to friends

Right. This is my last gambit,Lionheart. Can you PLEASE,PLEASE JUST USE THE RED COMMANDING TREE ON ONE OF YOUR CHARACTERS FOR ONCE. IT`S KILLING ME.
You'd think that Malagor would be the faction leader since he can basically go into any war herd and command respect from it. Khazrak simply leads one of the many war herds

Danny Devito should be one of the names, only because of him voicing that goat-man in Hercules - or Mr Tumnus :D
Name a razorgor herd Bacon's Revenge. Basically, the souls of all the pigs slaughtered in the 'civilized' lands have coalesced into one malignant force. Please give us a bit more close ups of basically every unit !! they are all new and cool ;) and amazing that you are doing a beastman series!!
You could call the Bray shaman two spell Charlie because that's all he needs or perhaps the amazing dissolving devolver
Also go for Lightning Strike, good synergy with your ambush stance.
An advice for the spells, first weaken everyone with that massive AOE drain, it does damage equal so no one dies but everyone get low health. Use them that little blast as finisher.
Extra 5 hour special? Hells yes.
The guy who died wasn't an empire captain but an out rider with his repeater rifle
These beastmen have the manners of a goat.

+lionheartx10 just for fun, in the warhammer game Razorgors were considered the ugliest model produced by Games Workshop ever! They were called Pumbagors because they looked so much like Pumba from the Lion King =)
It seems like a pretty disadvantaged leadership. Your leader and his main advisor together have a total of 1 eye.

P.S Thanks for all the great videos!!!
Attack.. retreat, attack reteat and hope for an ambush?!!? PU55Y, Seems like a real beastmen tactic.
large monstrous unit - Furry McGoatface
The mace noticable quite blatantly but he also has a dagger he could have stabbed into Khaazark's leg to buy time to get to his feet but he must have failed the leadership test
A name for a Minotaur:
Asterion, Bull of Minos.
That name of the original Minotaur from Greek mythology so it would be quite an apt name.
name the shaman Tim the wild!
names for units: Hamsters Shaggers ("your mother was a hamster"), Horned Stompers, Steak's Revenge, Bhaa-d Asses (for goatmen), Bloody Moony (for werewolf), Moscow Heroes (for the more reder beastmen), Tayis Krav (Combat Ram in heberew), Moshmosh The Ox (after a cartoon featured an ox, for a single character), coconut smashers (for cavalry)
Pans legion, the children of the nature god Pan, with their farther gone they seek a new leader. they found the gods of chaos.
I would say this campaign pretty much confirms that the advisor is an agent of Tzeentch (if the chaos campaign wasn't enough for ya)
When you're showing off the units, as you did at the start of the final battle, maybe click the "start deployment" button so the middle of the screen isn't dominated by the cue.

I'd go for the increased income from razing and raiding. You're gonna need it in the late game. Just remember how much money you got with your choas hoards when you did that upgrade.
The Bloody Hooves for almost any unit
It makes me die on the inside when I accidentally click on the share tab and 5 websites that i'v never heard of show up
Beware Dwarf Slayers because in patch 2 they got a armour piercing, melee defense and health buff, although they are a bit slower now (they're also cheaper now).
you need to remember to equip our heroes with armor
After playing skyrim, the shrine of the beast men looks like the dragon priest mask thing.
The Beastmen make even the Greenskins look civilized
really like the graphics. Did anyone notice the pegasus (flying horse) flying over the mountainous region near the Britonnia kingdom? (45-50:13)
This game is like a remake version of Heroes of Might and Magic 3 (1999), which was my childhood favourite game. I also hope there's a total war mod for Homm3/Homm2/Homm4
