@juanrodriguez26 i actually prefer that there is no "traditional" parry in this game. Too many Souls like (of, let's say, varying quality) have included it recently, only to ignore the balance of their game Sure, the game is still too easy (for the most part) but that's another issue
The thing that sucks about Rock Solid is the fact that there's a cooldown. I don't like having to keep looking down at the gaugue during combat to see if I can use it again. Unless there's something I'm missing, I don't see the incentive in using it over a dodge, especially since it's eating up mana.
If you max upgrade it, you replenish the mana cost, you lower the deflection window, and you lower the cooldown by a lot. You should take a look at the upgrades and read the options.
@@Joex0f I get that. I still don't see the benefit of using it over dodge, which you can do at any given moment, repeatedly. But if you can enlighten me, I might start using it, because it's definitely more stylish.
@@emcee009 you can briefly stagger them, which can be followed up with a lot of things like a heavy attack, a full focus heavy attack, or a maxed out stance with their resolve follow up. Its really good what you can mix and match with and there is benefits to that. Perfect Dodging isn't an alternative to this one, perfect dodging I feel is something you HAVE to do plus it fills up your focus meter a lot too.
😮 sekijoe in wukong
Sekijo when he gets to have 4 hands
Shinobi execution 🤣🤣🤣
Its a shame that there are not parry/deflect mechanics in game. Well, there is a parry but is just not the same.
Enemies are not aggressive enough for there to be a need for parry from what I’ve seen on videos
@@rakhoo5236
Ohh no they are fuckin agressive sometimes you dont even have the time to heal
But it's not a shame

Parry is not monkey-like, Dodging is very monkey-like
Sculptor was once called Sekijo
The one armed orangutan.
Monke Execution
The rock solid is more like Mortal Shell. In Mortal Shell you Parry and stun enemies by hardening your skin.
Flawless!! Your skills really make it look easy 👏🏼

Sekiro in Wukong sounds gaiiii
I have played this game for few hours. Looks Like Sekiro and too bad we can't parry, only Dodge like Elden Ring.

@@Joex0f I see. Might have to give it a proper test and see if it suits my playstyle. Thanks for taking time to explain.
Sekiro is also based on journey to the west 👌🔥
