- Today we left from the boat ramp and went straight to squidding where we managed to pluck out some perfect cuttlefish and arrow squid for live bait. we managed to also land a 42cm flathead on the squid jigs which was quiet a surprise. We then decided to punch back into the harbour in search of kings and managed to land 3 legal kings the biggest going 77cm and the smallest going 65cm.
Bait used: live squid
Reel: Shimano saragossa 10000

Great video - did you guys see the kings on the sounder before dropping or were you just hanging out near the marker?
we always sound them up try multiple markers and you'll find some.

Thanks mate. Yea theres plenty of squid spots in the harbour pier 2 and 9 can sometimes produce some good squid and also Huntleys point i've been getting a lot of cuttles and arrows there lately.
@@SydFishoz will have to give Huntley’a a crack! I might head out on the boat - good boat spot?
