- This is meant to be a fun challenge that allows you to explore new technique and search for a new creators you may like.
There is no bad intend in creating this video.
Rules for the challenge:
1) watch the full video and find out, what is the exact combination and technique
2) Give this video LIKE and/or SHARE it with your friends
3) Leave me a comment with a RUclips channel name and with a video title of the video, where the other artist use this mixed media combination and technique.
4) I will check the channel and the video and I will leave you a comment reply
If you are the first one, who proved me (commented) that someone already did this, then you WON the challenge and I will color anything you want.
There are two CONDITIONS - I have to have the coloring book/page and I have to have it unfinished.
I have quite a huge collection of coloring books, so there is a pretty good chance, I have it :)
I can color your page during the live stream or make a video.

I have never seen someone using markers on watercolor.
I tried something like this with watercolors and alcohol markers on a page, I didn't do a video but I do talk about the page and show it off in my Nov finished pages video! It was my first try with using watercolor grounds on a Johanna Basford book, I started with watercolors and was having a bad time, so I decided to deepen the colors and get it closer to what I wanted with alcohol markers on top. (That page was later ruined when I tried to fix it with a glue.. it 'reactivated' the alcohol marker and smeared all over the place >.
I've also tried watercolors (and watercolor pencils) on top of alcohol marker. That direction seems to be better for the marker since it doesn't dirty the nib as much, and is great for adding glittery/shimmer watercolor overlays! You should try it!
Woow I love your determination and courage to try and explore new things! The page may be ruined by the glue, but I believe that this experience gave you a lot of new knowledge about these mediums and techniques which is then more valuable. Keep going! ⭐️ Unfortunately there already was a comment on this technique that won the challenge, but I appreciate your time to leave me your comment and I will definitely try your method of using markers first 🐾

@@NekoSimiColoring yay!! Woo hoo! I was going to say something from a Tomaslav Tomic book, but I don’t think you have any of his. I have a couple of Klara Markova’s, Hana Karlzon Spirit Animals and a couple of her earlier ones, and all of the Kerby books except for alien world which I didn’t like and sent back lol. so a page from any those three artists would be amazing, I have neos, primas, and Polys. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️🌹

@@NekoSimiColoring I thought that might be the case! I haven’t bought a lot of new books so mine are pretty old lol. I love all the pictures in Kerby’s Mythic World with the exception of Varangian and Hecatoncheires. So how about you choose something from that book?! I would love that. ❤️❤️❤️🥰

No damage at all, it seems tiny, because it's a bullet tip, not brush :)
