Your kids are so polite and well-behaved it's hard to believe they treated you so rudely. So sorry for that bad experience. Hope the girls weren't upset. But I agree it's time to find a new store. On the plus side, your hair is beautiful. Just keep spreading kindness and positivity, don't let the haters get you down.
I don't think the girls truly understood what was going on other than this person was being rude. On the positive I love how my hair turned out!

Well,Jeena said the girls were running around and touching everything. That's not good manners for kids their age - they aren't toddlers and should know not to run and finger all the produce. Just basic stuff here that all of us 5 kids knew.
I’ve worked retail before and honestly? Watching these angels pick things up and then PUT THEM BACK WHERE THEY GOT THEM would have made me feel they have a fabulous momma. Which they do!
Those type of people don't need our business, period. I hope you made a review/ complaint on the store bad business practices.

I am so sorry that the store staff made you feel bad. Your kids are so well mannered and well behaved that i can't see it being that. :( I have a diverse friend group, and sadly, I've seen this first hand while shopping with them. Luckily the last time it happened we didn't have any littles with us so I stood up and gave the store staff a large part of my mind and a lesson in acceptance, diversity and that thier behavior are BAD for business. @@HeyThereWilders you did right. Teaching kids the proper time and place to express their emotions is more important than telling off clueless morons. The girls know they did nothing wrong. They also know from watching momma what happened WAS wrong, that feeling strong emotions is a part of life. Your whole series has been a great lesson in how parenting works. Even though you were clearly upset in the car, your girls had the chance to hear you calmly and succinctly explain what had happened. There is a time and place to fly off mad (ie, had one of the store clerks physically accosted one of your children) in public. But by going to a different store after, they also learned that reacting to every negative opinion in a strong fashion is beneath their dignity.

Its sad that it happens but ive dealt with it before I just hate that the kids have to experience it as well.
I am a retail manager and from what u showed us it didn't look like the girls were doin anything wrong for the employee to have said anything at all and You were right next to them. I've had kids literally run up and down my store screaming while their parents weren't even paying any mind. I'm so sorry that they made you that uncomfortable to the point where are you don't want to go back there. That's bad business. Your hair looks great tho!

I definitely will find a better beauty supply store, just disappointed in the experience.
That happens to my husband and me when we are looking through items in order to decide which to choose. The problem with theft is growing, and the employees are trying to manage it as best they can. Sometimes we just turn to the one following and engage them in a friendly chat. It changes the atmosphere in a positive way.

Yeah polite conversation would seem appropriate but not the way they were following us and then decided to acting like my kids were about to steal. Also Ive shopped here before its not like they have never seen me.
Just remember... some folks aren't happy unless they make other folks unhappy. So you keep on being the sweetheart you are.

I absolutely love that you post so many hair videos. My sister is adopted and is transracial. I wish you were around when she was little because I know my parents struggled so much with her hair over the years. She’s now 21 and can fully decide what to do but I think you could have really helped them when she was young.

I don't know why I rushed to this video wondering who I was going to have to give a "stern talking to" 🤨 (as if that was possible). People can really be so unprofessional at times. Smh. You shouldn't be lead to feel that way in a store.

I'm impressed at your patience in being able to sit for so long with your hair, looks lovely. The shop staff were silly, your girls are future customers and as they grow are going to want to try different things with their hair. They could have encouraged the girls but making you feel so uncomfortable has lost them a family of girls. I'm sure you will find somewhere else who will love you and your girls as customers.

My mom had nine kids. We grew up knowing to keep our hands behind our back in stores. My kids did the same and I got lots of compliments on them. I think it is the way to go.
Your children were being very well-behaved. I highly recommend getting in touch with corporate of that store to let them know the experience you had there and that you’ll be spending your money elsewhere. People who own businesses are generally pretty appreciative of customers letting them know of their experience at the business. I had the exact same experience once when I was with my best friend and her 2 middle school age sons who were also well-behaved. It is frustrating and I’m sorry you had that experience. You and your family are lovely!

For the rest of the video the best I guess is to not pay attention even though it's sometimes harder to do than say. Some people are just rude mean with no class whatsoever. When it's like that just leave it and focus on what's important you and your beautiful family. Love 😘

I'm so very sorry that happened. Perhaps you can call the store and manager and ask if their was an issue. If they are rude try corporate. If you can just explain you felt uncomfortable in the store with your children and they are still rude or not compliant...tell them ok I will take my business elsewhere. Anyway...they need to know and I pray they do not do that again. I love all your families hairstyles and clothing for church and holidays. You all bring a smile and happiness in this world. It saddens me so much to see how people act and do hurtful mean things without even thinking about it or caring what they do or say to other people. That leaves a mark on us for a long time, if not forever. But I really appreciate you and your family and sharing your struggles and your blessings with us. So thank you for sharing and it’s beautiful that you’re able to be vulnerable. It’s a valuable lesson to show other people that it’s OK to be vulnerable and share your experience. All of the relaxers, hair dye, expensive hair extensions are in the front of the store. I'm interested in natural hair products and hair accessories etc. Which tend to be in the back of the store. If I spent more than 5 minutes in the back of the store someone would start following me around. I've stopped going.

Being followed is something that many people experience, unfortunately, while others never experienced. It sucks. I usually politely leave the store without purchasing and never return. The owners most likely experienced people stealing and just assumed you would do the same. It's heartbreaking. They lost a customer and will continue to lose customers if they are that vigilant.

I have a a beauty supply store I won't go back to either, because of how unhelpful and unwelcoming the staff was. Lucky for me I have many in close proximity. Hope you find a better place not too far away.

I Love your braids Jeena!! I'm So Sorry about the rude clerk!! Its a shame!! I would call they manager! You did good staying calm in front of your daughters! I had a rude experience at a womans clothing store, the Clerk kept telling me you need to be the the plus size part, I said I dont wear plus size. She kept repeating it & I finally said, I dont wear plus size like you think I do!! She was like No I. Didnt mean it like that. Ya right! She finally seen I didnt wear plus size when I tried them on....but I stayed calm.
Not worth going to the manager over. Far better to just do what she did, kept her cool and paid for the item she came there for (no reason to add another trip) then left and will never be back. Another business that has better customer service will get her business.
Jenny, a lot of the beauty supply stores I go to seem to be smaller stores, Im sure that was the owner or family of the owner that was giving us a hard time. They are lucky that I did have the girls with me because it would have ended a bit different. I don't feel like anyone should be harasses while they are shopping and businesses should be grateful that you are there to support them.
@@HeyThereWilders Having worked retail, it is hard to do good loss prevention. A lot of small businesses are very concerned about theft, but don't have good loss prevention skills. These people clearly stink at it. If I was working there worried about theft instead of yelling at your girls and following you around the store, I would've joined your group and asked if there was things I could help you guys find. I would be almost annoyingly helpful so I would be able to watch everything, but not make you feel unwanted or unwelcome.

Honestly, retail nowadays has no sense of serving the public. From my time working at a retail, I've dealt with bad and good customers but never did I bad mouth all the time (maybe some for the frustrating part of it) but they always come first.
Have you looked into tinsel for the girls hair? That way Tiger could have some pink in her 2...

You look gorgeous, you're hair looks gorgeous, and if that was videotaped on the same evening, then I can only say that you are one of the luckiest women around (looking so good after getting up at 4am). I think it’s a shame that you had that experience at the store, but it’s happened to me before too. it’s just a shame that so many people who do steal wreck it for everyone. I’m sorry you and your daughters has that experience that in the beauty supply store. I’m a cosmetologist for 15 yrs and in my experience, unfortunately those types of interactions at beauty supply stores happen often. I shop alone and get followed. I realize the employees are just doing their job, but some of them are a little over the top with the loss prevention tactics.

Perhaps you could complain to the manager of the store. Or maybe even find out when the one who followed you is working so you can avoid them. Not fair to make you drive further. Personally I would go back and challenge them but I am not a gentle soul like you. God bless you all 💕💕💕
