How do you lift the hot tub so easily?

Looking for a cover lifter for my older Coast Radiance curve -- what lifter would work best with the freemount system for my tub?

I have the UM model, can I install the brackets up on the side of the HT, 12" below the top of the HT, instead of under the hot tub? My HT is submerged on all four side and has decking leading up to the side of the HT, so the side arm will not work. Thanks
