I started out with Franklin Covey as my first ever work planner back in the 1990’s. 😂 I had the purse that your planner fit into, a cover for my planner, a huge folio that was also a bag…..me and my best friend coworker fell down a Franklin Covey hole and had all of the things in all of the leather covers. I wish I still had them, for what I am not sure? 🤔 Thank you for sharing! 💕
I had the leather zipper planner with Navy and Brown, also got the personalized brass nameplate. Used the Seasons style full set with matching tabs and a day for every page, and two page monthly inserts every year (I think those were $50+ again, in 1990 money.) Also had the hole punch, tons of Franklin Covey grid colored plain paper, the binders to keep every year in, the zip pockets, a snap in ruler…so, kinda not quite as far as you…oh…I had a special set of fineliners and highlighters to color code my whole life (but I was in grad school, I needed the color coding.) Finally switched to a BuJo when that idea appeared on a blog a friend sent to me, loved that for years. Now, in a Sterling Ink A5 Common Planner for just life, and A6 for something to write on in my purse. I think the old Franklin stuff is in the basement (I know I still have that $120 in 1990 leather zipper binder, probably still filled with the last year of Seasons when I stopped…now I gotta go look in the basement 🤣) We had a Franklin store at the mall, so it was easy to get all sorts of stuff for it. I’d kill for a Itoya or similar now!!!
@@mollymollie6048 we are awesome! 😂 My coworker best friend had to have all of the things and the more leather the better. 😂 I can easily say the planner saved my job so many times, I wrote down everything and my coworkers started referring to my planner as the J. Edgar Hoover Planner. 😂 My work planner has even been to court and saved me so I know how much value writing things down can be? 👍🏻
@@terrilabeth Yep, in my line of work, if it’s not written down and signed, it didn’t happen. That could go both ways for you, but 99% of the time it was a good thing.
@@vanessasmith9646 I'm thinking of doing a video on nail polish and how I'm going to setup a system for swatches - planner adjacent since it's using my planners/supplies but unrelated to planning LOL or not fully.
Yes I’m designing inserts. Hoping to get them up in the shop in November. I won’t be able to do all designs in all sizes initially but on my list so far are A6, pocket plus, FCC and Personal Wide and then I’ll be fillling in with others as I go.
May I ask why there was no fountain pen ink paper test done on this planner? I use fountain pens in my daily planner, and my decision to purchase this is if the paper is friendly to fountain pen inks (i.e. no shadowing to the other side, bleeding, etc)
There is no pen test because this isn't my planner - it's a gift for a friend as I mentioned in the video. I don't feel comfortable writing in someone else's planner to pen test it so I don't pen test in planners that are giveaways or gifts. I don't want to give them a used planner.

So awesome of you to buy her that! I heard you say you will be designing inserts, will you be designing any personal plus sizes?
