This is my second-favorite body style of Super Duty behind the 1999-01. The 6.7 should've been the only change in those trucks for the 2011 model year.
The self- purging filter in the exhaust is what killed these trucks. It would literally melt the rear pistons because of the heat it made under towing. Take the piece of crap off these things make awesome power and great toque with the twin turbos
@MPLSTORM I drive two bobtails daily, a Dodge 3500 w/ Cummins and an F350 Powerstroke. the Dodge has less miles and the interior is litterally falling apart. Evertime I close the door two screws always pop out somewhere.
This thing was so far ahead of its time. It was an industry leader in virtually every category...
I love the 2008-10 super duty, its a shame the Diesel engine wasn’t the greatest
The gas engine was more reliable than the diesel.
Just blows my mind how much of a flop this truck was because of the 6.4. At least the 6.0 could be made reliable. 6.4 was doomed from the start
To bad the 6.4 turned out to be worse then the 6.0

Great truck, just remember to stick with the V-10
People often hate the 6.4 and for good reason. But mine has ran actually quite well all these years.

I'm sorry but the twin turbo 6.4 was a fail. I would rather have the new 6.7 6.0 or the legendary 7.3L

Ford certainly knows hot to build em! They make the best trucks with the widest variety of options!
And 12 years later the price is the same with a lot of issue here in CA
