So today, I discovered what I THINK? is a yew evergreen in the woods at the back of our property. Can I dig it out now and put it into bonsai soil?

Hi Mary, I would wait until the begging of Spring then dig it up, just get as much of the root as you can, i would also leave the soil on that comes with it and just fill with new soil around it for at least a year are two
