    , this is 100 percent the correct way to burn a tart, however if you use the whole tart the smell will be very very strong! I personally advise breaking it up into quarters, it lasts forever, and you don’t have to waste the whole tart in one go to be able to get a strong scent!

    • @xxOpheliac
      @xxOpheliac 5 лет назад

      so once i melted a quarter of the tart and had enough for one day, can i use the already once melted wax in the burner again? or just once?

    • @witchtea3676
      @witchtea3676 5 лет назад

      @@xxOpheliac You can! After using them multiple times their scent will be gone but there might be enough scent left to melt it a second time.

      Is it wrong that I use it as CANDLES? i Just bought mine today and I melted it in a hot water and put a wick in it. It can be a candle too, right?

    I only use 1/4 of a tart at once... and even that I can heat more than once and it still smells good :)

    I found a couple of my old tarts that I bought probably 13, maybe 14 years ago. One was still wrapped and it's Sage & Citrus. Nearing 15 years old, it still smelled like I had just bought it. But what amazed me was one of my last Midsummer's nights. I had put it in a box of stuff years ago. I moved to a new place in May and found my wax burner and these two tarts. The smell might be a bit weak on the previously melted Midsummer's night, but when I found the box I had put everything in, I could smell the Midsummer's Night within about 3 feet of the box.
    Also, great tip on the tea lights. They seem to be like half the size they used to be so flipping an dead one over should work nicely.

    I have a question..are tarts only good for one burn? since they melt down all the way!?

    • @emberchord
      @emberchord 5 лет назад +1

      I have the opposite problem. It melts but it doesn’t melt away. I’ve used 6 4 hour tea lights so far, that’s 24 hours, and it hasn’t lost any volume at all. I’m afraid my lamp is now ruined...

    Depends on which tart you are burning. In general you are looking at the full scent lasting from 6 hours all the way up to 10 hours... It really depends on the tart and how much fragrance it has in it.

  • @LuvYourLoxXx
    @LuvYourLoxXx 11 лет назад

    How much of the fragrance is actually diffused in an area? Can you smell it like walking through the front door or is it just lingering around that spot? • @sarahwood8550
      @sarahwood8550 8 лет назад +4

      +Daisy Debs The way i clean it out is light the tealight and let it warm up the wax then after a few minutes just test the movement of it it will slide right out but dont leave it too long so it all gets too hot, and ive found when burning them most the day they last up to 2 weeks max scent wise

    @jesseyeay @jesseyeay just use one like you normally would. After it burns out save it. Use it the way he does but make sure that you place like a slightly damn folded piece of paper towel under it when you have it flipped upside down burning another candle on top because most of the time there's still wax inside of the candle and when the heat from the top candle is applied it'll melt the remaining wax out of the old (supporting) candle :-) hope this helped.
