I have not read what this is based on but from this and Autobiography of a Puppeteer what I've gathered is basically
Ace: "I'm a character :("
Joker: "I'm a character >:)"
this song is what prompted me to read the entirety of Chancetale in one sitting and I have no regrets

I love that after "all discardable" Ace looks directly into the camare and is clearly looking at us and thats just a littel detail of them breaking the fouth wall

After reading Chancetale I really relate to it. It’s tough losing your innocence like that. But it really is worth it to move forward, be vulnerable, and lean on those around you. Also with Ace reaching outside the timeline recklessly reminded me of back when I decided “Fuq it, I can’t care let’s do self harm.” I really do wish someone had helped me sooner and it still haunts me how much I’ve lost. But I’m grateful to have people who care about me and understand my problems. It makes me very happy.

Y'know, I didn't expect to be called out for reading a comic on RUclips of all places, but I made the terrible decision of loving Ace so I'll allow it

Also, are the lines "[...] All discardable, made to be alone.", "Why, oh why did you make me this way? Are sentient toys even more fun to break? What sick minds in an opaque display. Don't you think it's a little cliché?" and "Guess I've learned not to trust the writers. [...] Now do you all truly see the story that they wrote for me?" a reference to Papyrus, who's just been a total prick, as well as very abusive and controlling towards Ace his entire life or is it actually a reference to yourself as the creator, since you made Ace and ChanceTale the way they are? That's really deep and philosophical in regards to how we as creators treat our own creations... 🤔
I think it's a reference to both.
Terribly sorry for being annoying but please refer to ct!papyrus as joker. He is too different from the original
Us Creators consider this only as a way of entertainment, like Undertale for us is only a game. Even if we have feelings for the characters of a story, they are limited and not enough to not enjoy when something bad happens, because it means the story will be more interesting for us. After all, "a story can't be perfect without some blood and tears".
This is such a cool song for Ace!
Also the change from 'There was' to 'I was' really makes the meaning shift, nice detail!

Wow, this song is just extraordinary. I can't explain how amazing and terrific this song is. Just saying though, I've been used as a puppet for my "friend" that I had a couple years back. We were in a "friendship" for around 4 years. The main reason why I kept him with me and around me was because I had a flicker of hope that he'd realize that he's been a little abusive about how far he's been overextending. But he never really did, whenever I try and salvage the friendship with my other friends he always just says he doesn't want to talk or just shoves me away. Ever since it happened I've been triggered every time people bring him up...
Anyway, I apologize if you have read all my rambling about my problems. I deeply hope whoever sees this will have the best day of their life.
I had the same problem with one of my friends he was really just an asshole. This was about two years ago. He is no longer my friend and has resorted to taunting me in the most pathetic was possible.
Yeah, I had a friend kind of like that too. Except for me my friend didn’t really let me do the things I wanted to do, always forcing me to do what she wanted to do. It seems like I was just entertainment for her, and whenever she got bored with me, she left to go to someone else, and then when she got bored with them, came back to me, then abandoned me again.
I think I broke my music playlist on here when I added it. Sometimes I shouldn't hit button that aggressively. At least the like button still works. Anyways... Another amazing piece of art to add to the collection! Well done! 👏
