Actually it's Vulkan that is the final solution. He's the only one who was told about a so called "button" that can end it all and his father The Emperor told him this when they first met. Being that Vulkan can't die since he's a perpetual.
The final configuration nickname came from a cameo with the Japanese version of power rangers, where alpharius and omegon were villains in the episode and had a cool transformation sequence where they combined into an astartes mega zord

Pretty sure that Jaghatai's moniker of 'War Hawk" is in reference to the way that the white scars fight. They like punishing speed and lightning strikes with pin-point focus which is similar to a Hawk hunting prey. Also, Jaghatai had a reputation for being incredibly observant. Hi, Majorkill. Just wanted to tell you that the reason the Lion is called the Lion, is because he killed a monster called a Canabalite Lion as a kid, and was wearing its skin when he was found
As for Magnus's nickname, you missed his "Deep, intricate nickname", there's the Logos Maxima, Logos in Greek meaning "Divine wisdom made manifest", associated with discourse, reason and logic.
Don't copy and paste stuff off Wikipedia. You clearly have zero idea of what the word 'logos' means. Why pretend to know something you clearly don't? Its painfully obvious too btw. Logos refers to arguments or discourse based on facts and figures and not emotions (pathos). It is the root of the word 'logic'. I googled it and saw the exact words you wrote but you clearly don't understand them and are just copying word for word and you took it out of context in such a way that your comment doesn't even make sense. You have literally just taken part of the sentence explaining it and left out the actual explanation.
@@richbob9155 But he's not wrong cause in the Orthodox Christian tradition logos simply means 'the word', God's word to be exact. So the "Divine wisdom made manifest" is pretty much true, just in a different context from what you were explaining. You were being condescending and rude for no particular reason.
@@richbob9155 Thank you for explaining the Truth to me in a way that is so humbling and uplifting. I am forever in your debt and hope that you find it in you to forgive my ignorance and clumsiness. I have been revealed for the oaf I regrettably am. Yes, metaphysical Greek and Eastern Christian concept are hard to describe, especially in a language that isn't my own (I am not a native English speaker), so I did take the wiki definitions closest to my broad understanding of it.
and it's also clear that this is the correct usage of the term in reference to magnus' nickname: he wasn't famous for his skill in rhetoric or for being a scientist. he was famous for being a powerful mystic sorcerer who was intended to sit on the golden throne.
@@richbob9155 For someone who clearly thinks they are the smartest mf on earth, you somehow missed the fact that 1. Words have multiple meanings, even in the same language. 2. Logos means different things in different languages 3. The fact that logos in reference to it being the root of the word Logic comes from Latin, and the og comment specifically mentioned it’s use being in Greek in this context. 4. This entire conversation is about the nickname of a giant red space wizard with 1 eye and a hard on for forbidden knowledge. Maybe don’t be such a condescending ass trying to flex your mind muscles on someone when you clearly don’t have the full picture either.
The fact that Fulgrim fell to chaos due to his obsession with perfection (well thanks to his stupid Laer blade at first, but still...) makes it difficult for me to see how he would abandon Slaanesh and return to the Emperor's side....
The Dark Imperium lore really is letting Guilliman live up to the Avenging Son title. Not the coolest or most powerful or badass, but damnit Galactic Wars are won with logistics. A Primarch and Legion is a deadly force but a few hundred worlds run properly with incredibly high military production can put that to shame. Most the planets conquered in the Great Crusade were not from the Astarte Legions. Really surprised the lore did not have the Ultramarines at near 1 million Space Marines.

Aurelion/Aurelian as a nickname for Lorgar might be in reference to one of the best Roman Emperor who himself held the title of ‘Restorer of the World’ after reinforcing all the borders of Rome at the time. And possibly because he may have also fashioned himself to be a God, or at the very least mandated Sol to be the main deity of the Roman pantheon at the time.

I could be wrong but way back GW made just minis for other games (i.e. D&D) and I think Gorgon here is actually based on the Gorgon monster, a large metal bull. The Gorgon was an AD&D monster so it's old enough.

Now obviously it’s more likely subject 11 is a wildly overpowered xeno that needed to be contained bc it can’t be killed or something like that, but imagine how much wacky shit could happen if a brand new, really confused primarch everyone thought was dead called up guilleman for a chat
Primarchs sure enjoy their enthusiastic walks after landing on their respective homeworlds and make themselves at home before Big E show up for a merry Great Crusade.
Giving Vulkan the name of "Chocolate Thunder" would be pretty nice.
Some content on specific warp and psyker powers would be cool. I'm reading Talon of Horus and it mentions at one part the main character use some sort of tarot card/summoning card thing from a book that he carries. I didn't understand it very well lol.
1:52 Inquisitor: I WILL CONFISCATE THESE HERESY!
6:53 Sanguinius asked his corrupted nephews how's their health plan.
Apparently it was great.
Was that a TFS reference?
6:04 Konrad's nickname is The TFS Alucard In Space
Hi, Majorkill. Just wanted to tell you that the reason the Lion is called the Lion, is because he killed a monster called a Canabalite Lion as a kid, and was wearing its skin when he was found
He killed on with his bare hands and took a bolter shot to the shoulder without much actual damage. As essentially a teenager.
0:14 dude you didnt need to call me out like that, im literally the 8th dude in a row with the same name
Thank you for acknowledging the avenging bean counter it's my favorite
When Big E and Uncle Malc are having a chess match they refer to Horus as "The Lord of Hearts". Pretty fitting.
@@richbob9155 For someone who clearly thinks they are the smartest mf on earth, you somehow missed the fact that
1. Words have multiple meanings, even in the same language.
2. Logos means different things in different languages
3. The fact that logos in reference to it being the root of the word Logic comes from Latin, and the og comment specifically mentioned it’s use being in Greek in this context.
4. This entire conversation is about the nickname of a giant red space wizard with 1 eye and a hard on for forbidden knowledge.
Maybe don’t be such a condescending ass trying to flex your mind muscles on someone when you clearly don’t have the full picture either.
pretty sure Guilliman was called the avenging son before the heresy. the trucidation of his father's murder being the main inspiration
I'd like to have fulgrim to be the first primarch to ever return to loyal as a nod to his phoenix nickname. So he would be "reborn"
Are you aware of the loyal perfect clone of Fulgrim
@@joshuacouture479 I am, but as far as I know he is in trazyns collection and that's where this story ended
Bro Majorkill straight up uploads right before I workout, it’s magnificent.
Absolutely love how you do all these videos covering such minute, niche aspects of the 40K universe like the primarchs nicknames and shit. Never change ❤️
well, I'm convinced. just ordered my calendar. got to support my guy Majorkill.
Russ being called The Praetorian while being a loyalist is one of 40ks biggest ironies.
Video idea: how much better or worse do each primarchs fair on each other’s planet.
Agreed, that would be quite interesting. Imagine Lorgar landing on Nostramo for example.
@@gobihoukou1 or angron in ultramar
@@raptorxrise5386 well hed have his brain intact with him emphatic powers plus the primarch charm.
ULTRA DEMOCRATS
" we all agree that youll agree"
Maybe even some ethereal mind control perhaps he still falls?
Lion El' Johnson was also called the Primaris Angelus Mortus... the first angel of death
Hey Majorkill. Would you please make some lore videos on the Imperial Truth, the Imperial Creed, The Ecclesiarchy, and the High Lords of Terra? Thank you.
I can't believe you didn't explain "rowboat girlyman". Probably his most well known nickname
What a nickname, Majorkill
Sounds like he’s done something good
Aurelion/Aurelian as a nickname for Lorgar might be in reference to one of the best Roman Emperor who himself held the title of ‘Restorer of the World’ after reinforcing all the borders of Rome at the time. And possibly because he may have also fashioned himself to be a God, or at the very least mandated Sol to be the main deity of the Roman pantheon at the time.
When you realize the iron warriors are also associated with hammers.
Westham in 40k!
if I ever start an iron warriors army I am gonna have my warcry as "come on you irons!"
I just got my calendar and I must say, It is one of the most incredible things I've ever seen. I'm considering it canon and no one can tell me otherwise.
Lore video suggestions:
Ratlings, ogryns, and other abhumans
Thunderhawks
Those cresent shaped Necron space ships
Interex
Tau battlesuits
What's going on in various Fortress monastaries
Lore on Imperial Aristocracy
Leages of Wotan
Servo skulls, cyborg-baby-angels, and other imperial oddities
Sure, steering away from a skin tone color theme for Vulkan is cool and all, but just imagine being referred to as 'The Black Dragon' or 'The Red Gaze.' So many cool names with descriptors are possible
There is an Alpha Legion character named Armillius Dynat and one of his titles is "Griefbringer" and I think that's badass
I love going back to older lore videos, and seeing the things that have changed. Such as MK saying that Chaos didn't try to turn Dorn - when we now know that Khorne spent a few centuries with Dorn trapped in an endless desert.
That’s one Primarch you don’t want to fight having to face 30K Asartes you can’t see the pinnacle of stealth I’d personally bend the knee to the Raven Lord/Shadow Lord/Deliverer
Hey majorkill amazing video great job and if it won’t trouble you can you make a video dedicated to bjorn the fellhaned
I've just finished Echoes of Eternity. We need a video about the Giga chad Sanguinis, what a fucking beast.
Lion El'Jonson got the name Lion after defeating a warp lion in Caliban. (Only done by him and one other person in all recorded Caliban history)
MK: The Lion is cool
MK: The Wolf is uncreative.
ok ...
Video Idea: What are the weakness of each legion and their primarch
Lion got his nickname as there was a right of passage thing on Caliban for knights to kill one of the chaos beasts. The one lion killed looked a bit like a lion ... But bigger and more chaos'y
I don't think I've ever seen a youtuber promoting ssmut this directly, good job
Mongolian used eagles and hawks to help hunt. So makes sense a little to call Jaghatai Khan a "war hawk" as he was hunting for war and making his empire....
I love your vuds majorkill keep up the good work you absolute mad lad
“The Avenging Bean Counter” 😂😂😂 Night Lords sense of humor is the best.
Where are you Warmaster Seth? We need your direction to launch our next Black Crusade
11:35 I'm a fan of Chocolate Salty Bald.
Alpharius Omegon also had the nickname “The Alpha-Null.” No idea what that means or why he has it.
Aleph Null. I think it's a math term. This nickname is wrongly used as a name for a Necron in the 40k mobile game Tacticus.
@@jedi098765 Huh. It's kinda a common symbol used in Alpha Legion iconography as well.
Wonder if there's something to it.
dorn didn't live up to the nickname of preatorian
he didn't backstab the emperor and name new augustus or just usurp his powers, or demand bribes, he's just a roided bob the builder
I don’t know man calling rogal the praetorian seems pretty bad considering their extremely bad habit of murdering Roman emperors they were meant to protect so it comes off as somewhat insulting if you knew the implications, considering that his own honour guard is called huscarls, I would call him the Varangian due to being more steadfast
Maybe make a video about unique secrets the Emperor kept from individual Primarchs?
Got a calendar for my brother's birthday, he really likes the... art
His favorite is the commissar and he'll be looking forward to using the signed 2023 calendar to... keep track of the dates
A video about imperial void ships and their weapons would be cool
What about the Emperor himself? He also has a few ones.
Master of Mankind, The Anathema, God-Emperor, Empy, Ems, Emprah.
Big E
These are the emporors nicknames
The master of mankind, the anathema, the god of humanity, the god emporor, the savior emporor and more
Darn Majordude, got the A3 calender. Excellent! I'll never have another dry Warhammer dream again... :D

???: Rang Dan
Ferrus Manus: ???
Fulgrim: Sissy
Vulkan: Good despite being Bald
Rogal Dorn: ???
Roboute Gulliman: G-Man

Mortarion: Hypocrite
Lorgar: F*ck Erebus
Konrad Curze: Pschyo but Metal
Angron: Should've Been Aborted at Birth
Corvus Corax: Better version of Konrad
???: Rang Dan v2.0
Alpharius Omegon: ???
(Note: ??? Means a missing Primarch or no idea what nickname Majorkill has for them)
Brother you require a pin.
i Read the Jaghati primarch novel and his storm caller gave a solid reason for his nickname. it was because like a warhawk, he could perceive his foe from a great distance, and strike them with the speed of lightining, and the wrath of a storm.
The lord of Iron for Perturabo was something the Emperor named him when they first met.
"You shall be my lord of iron".
1:16 ran out of copies?
I just found you in the RUclips world. Which is awesome in some cases. But it also sucks because all the colanders are gone and all the limited edition stuff is gone! Ether way, I’m fallowing now so hopefully I can catch whatever is next!
My son likes your voice whenever i preach warhammer around the house. Keep it up , sometimes he will babble in disagreement but that's understandable.
Khan warhawk is probably because Mongolians also use "eagles" to hunt
and given that the White Scars like a fast pace attacks it's possible they are basically just birds
I just realized I have listened to you for more than 2 years at least.
Includes the 2nd Legion, but not the 11th 😢
I would guess that Alpharius' and Oregon's "last configuration" nickname would be reference to the facts that Alpha and Omega are the first and last letter of Greek alphabet and therefore together being the beginning and the end.
Also in Aplharius head of the hydra novel it is claimed that Alpharius was actually the first found primarch and omegrn was the last.
The calendar sits in my desk, right next to my minis. I pull it out only in the presence of my fellow nerds. It's gotten shocked reactions all the way to nerds falling to their knees in worship. It's a strange experience
While I am Iron Hands fan numba one, as a forgebro, I can appreciate Vulkan’s badass nicknames, my favorite being “THE DRAGON OF NOCTURNE.”
Great video man! Love ur 40k content, but i hope u get around to finishing the fixing the end times series, i've rly enjoyed it so far and am super keen on what else u come up with
The final configuration is in reference to the fact that when the emperor got around to him he had 19 other primarchs of practice behind him, and so was able to in effect perfect the method he was going for, he would be the final legion. The ladt configuration of gene seed.
I could be wrong but way back GW made just minis for other games (i.e. D&D) and I think Gorgon here is actually based on the Gorgon monster, a large metal bull. The Gorgon was an AD&D monster so it's old enough.
Been trying to buy the calendar today, but stupid prepaid cards keep getting denied. Sad sad day but hopefully one day they’ll come back or something even more spicy will come out of this awesome channel. Cheers Majorkill
S tier
Praetorian is probably not a great nickname since they killed so many emperors
Wow Majorkill I didn't expect you to call us out like that so hard in the first 10 seconds mate 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
can you make a video about the new faction in the game the Leagues of Votann
But Majorkill you still have to cover every single last fact about Magnus the Red's glorious golden nipple horns
My nickname from my parents was pumpkin head because I often sat in the way of things with my head blocking stuff. I also had a big head as a baby.
