Thank you all so much for your advice and inquires. We are going to get a good lawyer asap. If you know any lawyers well suited for this kind of scenario under Massachusetts laws, please send an email to troutandcoffeecabin@gmail.com. We are going to get our rights and options squared away before we decide what to do from here.
If you sell, price it high. Make them pay. Only you can put a price on your hard work and memories. Sounds like someone is trying to get you to sell cheaply.
Kyle, good! You need someone looking out for you who knows the law. I feel this recent move on the townspeople's part is a sign it's time to close this chapter of your lives and move on to the one opening at your A-frame. You don't need this stress. It won't stop. I'm 61 and have been through enough stress that as I watch your video, I feel you know deep in your soul what you need to do for your benefit and for the prospective new buyer of this property. Let the stress go and move on! Sending you and Ally peace!
Read the Declaration of Indepence, Constitution and Bill of Rights...then figure out how to apply your Constitutional rights/Indepence/Bill of rights to this town issue. For instance the Independent states "right to life, liberty and the pursuit happiness' which the local govt is taking these right away. Read books on Constitutional law at your library or Congress online library. We the People have rights, never forget that. Put the township govt in their place. take care. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 DONT GIVE UP...STAND UP and FIGHT BACK with our God given rights.
I was intimidated over property rights and I caved in and sold. It's the worst decision I ever made. If I had fought to keep my property I would have millions of dollars of assets now and could retire comfortably. Instead, I have to keep working into my 70s. Do not be intimidated. Someone wants your property because they know the value of it. That is a highly desirable piece of real estate. Do not cave in. Do not be intimidated. Keep the land even if you have to shut down the cabin until you work out the details. That's what's at stake.
this was immediately my thought. now that they've made it nice, someone from town has decided they want it for themselves. this is an intimidation campaign.
You nailed it. Years ago, I watched a similar situation unfold. It was a joint operation between two families that wanted the property so they did everything they could to create this type of problem for the residents who were doing nothing illegal. No one can mind their own business anymore and a bloated government constantly dictating our lives.
Agreed. It's very suspicious to me that this is happening right after all the siding was finished, the hot tub up and running, and the interior was finished. I really think someone is coveting the property and trying to strong-arm the situation. Get a lawyer and post no trespassing signs all along the perimeter of the property. You can't sell the property with this angry commotion going on. It will interfere with the showing and selling of the property. There are a lot of mean-spirited asses around. Don't let them push you around. I wish you a positive outcome! Good luck!
Some people are insanely jealous of youtubers who show everything they have to the world. I've seen nasty comments on a lot of channels. Any one of them could have caused this by calling people and complaining.
Sounds like one person started all this and it’s snowballed with the rest of the townspeople. I don’t know the laws in your state but it seems you should have things in writing from them. It doesn’t seem right that they just turn up. Even if you did decide to fight this, the bad feeling will always be there. I’m so sorry this has happened to you. It’s very sad. All the very best to you and Allie.
Shame on those town council bullies. If they actually watch your videos, then they approached Ally while she was alone…..like all cowards. You definitely need to visit an attorney and know your rights. We are praying for you. Both of you are such a delight to watch.
A "town council" is locally governed by a Board -- those people are voted in. Make a written complaint to the Board of the County where your property is. That is the starting point for you. Next -- contact your House Representative for your District. Ask for assistance and ask them to make inquiries on your behalf.
A couple of suggestions: 1. By all means start filming any interactions when someone trespasses on your property. 2. Ask for a warrant. 3. Don't talk to anyone or give them any information whatsoever. 4. Call the police. General townspeople and Town council people cannot just come on your land. And there's a tremendous amount of paperwork on their end that will have to be filled out approved and presented to you. If you're not there full-time, there's a pretty good chance someone would show up when you're not there. Make it look like you're not there. Document everything. And if you can't afford an attorney sign up for one of those attorney services where you pay a monthly fee and you can get particular levels of advice. You also get discounted legal services. There's a principal here and I fully understand if you don't have the energy or the means to resist, but someone's got to stand up for it. I wish you good luck.
Yep, and where the public roadway connects to your property road entrance put up a sign & gated entrance to prevent trespassers driving up your road etc. These townsfolk are uninvited bullys and unannounced “visitors” should be stopped from driving a vehicle easily onto your private property. If they have questions or concerns about your B&B or future use of the land they can ask to meet in a civil non-threatening way with questions etc. If they put up a Private Property sign AND also install a metal gate with poles cemented in place that you can put a heavy duty chain link and lock on, an maybe also a hidden camera on a tree nearby to monitor your entranceway with a motion detector etc, then townfolk can’t tresspass and bully your wife alone on your property.
Housing authorities don't need a warrant. They are not searching anything. Just informing the tenants of any violations of zoning laws. Don't follow that advice, you'll just sound stupid and show your ignorance of the law
@@joea400 They still can't trespass. And I disagree. You've got the right to ask ANYONE for some authority. If they don't have a warrant, no matter who they are, you can escort them off your property with the business end of a shotgun.
As a realtor in Southwestern Idaho this happens so often sadly. Get a good real estate lawyer and do what is the best thing for you guys and do it from your heart! My husband and I bought a cabin with a geothermal well in Garden Valley Idaho and the subdivision is trying to take our rights to our water and well but with our lawyer here they have been completely stopped in their tracks. We also thought about selling but Im so glad we didnt and now know our rights:) My best advice is "know your rights kids!" We love watching you guys for 3 years now. We were able to Airbnb it and its been rented back to back! We have been able to have a nice little farm property way out in the country here and life is good! I pray you figure it all out and do what your heart truly wants!
Everything else aside, I would be BEYOND PISSED if a group of people trespassed on to my property and pushed my wife around like that. You 100% need to get the police involved and file a report, and find a good lawyer and see what your options are. Don't let them do that to you man. Shove it right back up theirs and let them know you can't be pushed around and what they are doing is wrong. Selling the place is one thing because you have the new home etc., but letting THEM push you off the property is another.
Agreed, they are illegally trespassing and making illegal demands on a property that is absolutely none of their business. Kyle is right, it sounds like someone has a vendetta against him for no reason. I'm so glad he has gotten a lawyer. They just finished building the cabin and they absolutely have every right to have the property remain as they built it. They own the land. They've done everything legally. The people demanding he leave have zero rights. Kyle has every right and he and Alley have to fight to keep them.
I'm also in Western MA, we've had issues with people our land. The police informed us that we must have "no trespassing" signs posted to be able to get the law involved. Hope that helps is a small way!
when you live in hippie liberal areas where people are rich and think a hobby farm is a real farm, yes, you are not free, as they have nothing better to do with their time than police how others live.@@chandaharkins4418
I put up no tresspassing signs on my property in a small city this week to keep off people and their pitbulls. Must have signs up else police won't enforce.
So sorry you’re dealing with this. As others have said, get a lawyer. Post no trespassing signs and check local laws for the minimum distance required between signs, that could be important. If you don’t already have them, put up trail cams at your driveway and other reasonable entryways to your property and document every interaction you have with them.
Get a lawyer. Before you sell it and let it become someone else's problem, get a lawer. Know your rights first and then pass it on to the next owner so they also know their rights and are welcomed. I'm sure they can't just board up the property you own. I'm sure they needed to mail you notifications, and if they are not doing their due diligence, then they need to be called out on it.
I agree with your decision...it's time to move on and not involve yourselves in more stress, BUT I would get a lawyer involved so you can move forward equitably with plans to sell, without infringements from the town, and you can be in control of the process, not the town. And I agree with the financial benefits you would reap from this. This feels like the right thing to do all the way around. Good luck, I'm in your court batting for you. ❤
If you haven't done the following: I would strongly recommend placing hidden cameras - deer cameras are fine, as long as they have low light capability. I would also place signage, demarcating your land and referencing the trespass act in your region. I would also suggest providing the local sheriff's office with a letter of enforcement - in essence, it allows them to enforce your trespass protection. I realize this option may be one you must reflect upon if the sheriff is being directed by the group you have highlighted. I fear that your beautiful cabin will be targeted, and set on fire, or damaged. Note, when you place your cameras, people often misplace them and get "tops of heads." You must be able to get the subject's face, and vehicle identifier, such as a licence place, along with the driver's face. It has been my law enforcement experience, that these types of cases can become violent, even deadly. I am not grandstanding, it is often the result of senior/older people taking this type of issue to a level that to most would seem ridiculous. I am older, so I am comfortable stating this. They seem to get their backs up and have limited capacity to negotiate, or even listen, as you mentioned when they trespassed on your property. I would also recommend that you have a personal recording device on your person at all times - sad, but a reality - if it isn't recorded, it didn't happen. This quickly goes from "winning" to personal safety, for a cabin. I could see someone getting hurt, or shot, hit by a fleeing/aggressively driven vehicle. Take care, I hope it works out and cooler heads prevail.
I agree about the deer cameras. You may also consider the higher end ones that will send notifications to your phone when it’s activated. They also have gps trackers in them in case some moron decides they’re gonna steal it. Stand your ground for your rights and property. Good luck and God bless!
It happens to a lot of off grid people. Never tell where your located, what country, nothing. People post and video to much about where they live. Good luck to you and your family, I hope it works out for you whether you sell or keep it.
I would definitely file a police report and have a paper trail for a possible civil case. I'm a deputy sheriff in South carolina, so I'm not familiar with your states laws, but I definitely wouldn't let that just fly. There's no telling who all they're treating that way. Best of luck!
Welcome to Massachusetts ! Regardless of the issue(s) the town has, a couple things to note that hasn’t been commented on 1) You are spot on about the appeals process - do your homework on this - its usually the easiest part of the process 2) The town has published rules on how to notify the property owners concerning any issues - notifying and discussing this with Ally - a non-owner (I presume) - is a clear violation and very concerning - and does not meet the notification procedure prescribed by their rules - therefore any kind of notification presented in this manor is invalid. In most communities, notifications are done through USPS certified mail. The only exception is building & code enforcement. You could do a whole video series on this process!!
Don't try fighting this on your own. Go talk to at least 3 lawyers and get a range of opinions. Don't talk to anybody from the local town. They may try to mess up the sale of the off grid home.
@@Ironkitten83 Yes they will because they'll know their rights. Kyle and Ally may have been caught off-guard by this "band" of thugs, but it won't take long for an attorney to fix things. If they want to stay, they'll be able to. If they want to sell, they'll be able to.
Sad to see you guys dealing with this.. your videos have been mine and my wife’s escape from south FL.. with dreams of someday living the peaceful and simple life not to mention humid and mosquito free life in the NE.. we thank you for this broadcast it’s been our Sunday morning tradition while we drink our coffee.. thank you for the escape🌷 We love and support your decisions.. just please don’t stop showing us the splendors of these magnificent places and brilliant narrations.. not to mention the editing! Absolutely stunning. ❤🙌🏽
mosquito free? you need to visit more often. you must have missed the real atmosphere. there are enough mosquitos ticks and other poisonous creatures to kill a horse not to mention the bears that walk into your home looking for snacks. and humid......... NE is a rainforest and certainly not peaceful. it cost so much to live here a native cant afford to live here anymore.
They legally have no ground to stand on, I am a professional in this area. If they trespass again call the Police. Make sure to add multiple easy to see "no trespassing" signs in multiple areas of your land immediately. Also invest in a lawyer. This is going to save you big time on this road you're about to approach. They already broke MANY laws for what they did to Ally trespassing on your land and harassing her. You are in the clear.
Pretty much everything you wrote is incorrect. I have a masters in legal studies from Cornell, and I have built 3 off grid homes. One in western Massachusetts. If a suspected code violation has taken place, code enforcement can absolutely come on your property. No trespassing signs won't do anything. They plain as day said they planned to Air b and b it. That's permanent residency, just like you were a landlord. What exactly kind of "professional" are you? What are the "MANY" laws broken? The NEC and NBC are there for a reason. Same for building permits, snow load requirements, site plans, and perk tests. Just because it's not grid tied doesn't mean the electrical code doesn't apply....
I own multiple properties and I understand how it feels to trespass I've had people do it before. But I feel like there's more to the story than we're being told. Cuz townspeople don't have that much Authority especially in a small town a small town biggest property that I have is one of them is 22 acres in the other one is 665000 Acres. In two different states that's a lot of Acres but I can tell you that you need a good dog you need a gay or something to block your drive so people can't just drive up and do you need signs it's a no trespassing private property you will be shot and you need a way to defend yourself sidearm you know maybe a life full maybe a shotgun someone he was this stress out there's more to the story there are stuff that you are not saying PUD to having to do with RUclips slowing you know Khan ducks or you're afraid because you don't know what they're going to take but I can tell you from my Valen forcement side that one it's your property so they can't trespass to their breaking a lot of especially if they're rude and disrespectful. Especially especially if you have asked them to nice will you leave we have to even if you have told him do not come back on my Parkway and they do over and over and over that takes it to a whole nother I'm going to sue you or you're going to get arrested or you're going to get shot
I visited the Berkshires in 2021 due to your videos. I'm sure other people have as well. These people don't know they're driving away someone that promotes the area and brings in business.
That's exactly what they don't want. They want to preserve their way of life and act as though they can be the only ones to own land there. Most of them very much dislike outsiders.
This earth land does not belong to us ,we are all visitors and if they read us ,it is better to learn that earth waits many more than us,better than us and we have to be careful what we do here...God see their efforts to kick off the couple from their place and he will punish them all...We support the couple and not these idiots from the town...Police has to take care of this problem and not only the lawyers....Just to protect the cabin from.these monsters of the town and the couple
@@peaceoutlisar9500 I find it strange that Kyle himself is a local, considering he said he grew up a few minutes away. They probably want the land for recreational use.
Wish you both the best . I have enjoy learning about. Different herbs and plants that can heal different ailments and the restorations that Kyle is doing on old buildings. Both of you have a very relaxing commentary, like a good book to read. Thank you both for the videos .
Time to pull out the regulations and hire a lawyer. Record a video of every interaction. Everything is heresay until served. Put a camera on the property. Post no trespassing signs. Start pressing charges for anyone entering without your permission. Don’t give up.
The townspeople trying to inflict things upon you, trespassing without any form of permits, etc. are not in the right here. They’re using their political clout to try to harass you, illegally. What they’re doing to you is actually very punishable by law and you could sue the town over it. If you sued them for damages, they’d have no ground to stand on.
@@Brett_Cooka town council has no rights to berate his wife/girlfriend, nor do they have a right to demand they leave their property, and certainly don't carry the weight to board up his vacation cabin, last I checked MA is still well withing American borders, ofcourse that doesn't mean much as of late either.
Crazy considering Trout and Coffee has likely brought many tourists and thousands of dollars in tourism dollars to your town and surrounding area.We live in Canada and have considered vacationing to your area specifically because of Trout and Coffee! Love the vids and the way you guys showcase local businesses and the area.
I've been watching trout an coffee and Ally's channel for about a year now and Have really been enjoying each video. I think well of you and Ally, I think the love you both have for each other is soo beautiful. I've enjoyed seeing y'all work on the cabin and its soo sad to hear that people there would be soo cruel to both of you. I know y'all have had a lot troubles, curve balls and hardships the last while and it saddens me to see y'all suffer through soo much. it saddened me to see that they have forced y'all out of the cabin. Even if no one understands or would appreciate it. please know that I've been praying for y'all ...with everything that's been going on and for encouragement for you and Ally. I hope y'all have a much better week as well.. blessings to you both.
So true. This happened to my in-laws' lake house. The people of the town own their house now. There were so many memories in that wonderful house... fight for your rights🩷
Kyle and Ally, Please don't allow the townspeople to bully you out of your property. You have legal rights. They had no legal right to trespass on your property. They should have lawfully gone through appropriate channels, "via letter" informing you of zoning if applicable to your property. You could call your local zoning office and ask questions. Definitely report this to the local police and file report and charges for their trespassing actions. Put up very clear and several "no trespassing" signs all over your property. The gate idea someone had is a great idea. Trail cameras to see who comes on the property, at the entrance at the house, and along the drive. Push back, because if you don't, this kind of bullying will continue towards you and others. The town council has more important things to do than bully you if they are doing their job correctly. Sell when you are good and ready. Love to watch you both! Hang in there!
What common majority of persons who are settled and not trying to move, THIS IS REALITY ALL OVER THE UNITED STATES! EVEN IN RUN DOWN RURAL MISDISDIPPI.
@@Gabedudley1 Yeah, you can move into the cabin for a short time. That's what a cabin is for. At the same time they were buying and renovating an A-frame house. Does that ring a bell???
I would call law enforcement and have them charge them with trespassing no matter what. If it was you all trespassing they wouldn't hesitate. They need to be treated just like everyone else. Im sorry you all are going through this. I hope whatever you guys decide brings you peace and happiness!
100% protect your rights and dont back down. There will always be bullies in this world that cant accept change. I wonder if the previous owners of the property had similar issues with the same ppl
If buildings require permits and inspections (assuming none were done here) they have the right to control illegal builds. They also have the right to be there for property tax appraisals. You can't just do whatever you want just because you live in a "free" country.
@@papasquat355 All depends on zoning - it could have been permitted as a cabin. Also while tax appraisers have the right to be there, it stops at the edge of the property if you have it posted or fenced off. In this situation, because there isn't any structure keeping them out, they can walk up until they are told to leave. I absolutely agree about zoning to a certain level, I don't want a junkyard being built next to my wooded lot but I also don't want Tom and Dick from the Town in every inch of my business.
This is unbelievable. People showed up to kick you out? What??? No respectful communication? This is out of hate. Praying for this to come to the table In Love. Big hugs to you two!
At a minimum, you will have to protect your rights or you will have nothing to sell. This is why it is important to pay attention to local elections and don't vote in people who cannot support individual freedom and the constitutional rights.
Easier said than done in a tyrannical government. The legal and judicial systems are broken and both are not following the Constitution. “They know, they just don’t care. “
Also! Please don’t feel like you have to justify any of your choices to your viewers. You are not letting us down. We’re here to support you and to support your beautiful content! That won’t stop. DO YOUR THANG!!!😂
the color grading and cinematography on this video is insane. really liked the mic walk with the stool very subtly planned and its these extra details that many people don't notice that makes videos like these so great.
I'm so sorry this is happening to you guys. I have been watching you guys for a long time and know this was never a permanent residence. So, if they have been watching as well then they should know that. It sounds like jealousy and bullying.
As you mentioned they have been watching your You Tube, this alone demonstrates jealousy. get the names of all who trespassed and be litigious .. sell only on your terms ...retain a real estate attorney and demand they pay your lawyers fee, and sue for emotional distress, threatening to board up your property. Another follower advised you to install cameras and no tesspassing signs..do it! And keep the receipts.
Stand your ground man! Get a lawyer if possible to explore your options. Dont let these dirt bags run you off your property. But only if its in your heart.
Trout and Coffee and Ally have saved me this summer. I broke my wrist badly at the end of June and had surgery to screw it back together. I was in pain and stuck on the couch. I found you two and have pretty much watched everything! You took me away to the woods and the mountains, taught me about woodworking and, from watching Ally, I think I could do an ok job on installing shakes 😂 If the time has come to take those skills, and that passion and pour it all into the house, do it. I’m furious that they ambushed Ally when she was alone and I’m glad she bossed it. Take the three of you and go to the house. Actually, do what you want to do, be true to yourselves and what is best for you. I’m so grateful for all you have given me as I heal and you hold a special place in my heart ❤️ Onwards 💪
Wow. I'm so sorry you're going through this. People can just be awful. You have our full support and we'll be sending prayers and well wishes. Hang in there Kyle.
Absolutely do what is best for you and Allie! We don’t watch you for the cabin! We watch because your story telling skills are master level and your cinematography takes us to the most ethereal places in New England and soothes our souls. You are a talent and that talent will shine wherever you are! Good luck and sending you healing energy!
It doesn't matter if you have a house close by. Sometimes you might just want to disconnect from the rest of the world and get away. When you were hooking everything up in the cabin you showed such joy. Remember that joy and hold on to it. Stand fast and don't let anyone beat you down. The world is full of jealous people who want what someone else has and thing that they are entitled to it just because they want it. Help them overcome that. Hold on to what is yours. If you give in this time you will be giving in forever
If *anyone* puts a single board on that property, sue them until you own the town. Start in state court/district court since local courts could be reasonably assumed to be biased. Get restraining orders and clearly post no-tresspassing signs. Possibly put up a gate over the driveway. There doesn't even need to be a fence. Just a gate that would have to be opened in order to drive or walk up to the house on the road you built. If they open it or cross it, you've got a provable breaking and entering situation, and can contact the state patrol to have them actually arrested. (And insist on it. There is no reason for you or Ally to feel unsafe on land you own.). Even if you decide to sell it -- which I wouldn't blame you for doing; you don't deserve these constant headaches -- still begin the process of protecting your property. That way, whoever decides to buy it later has a nice little paper trail for precedent in case they continue this harassment. And it IS harassment.

You're doing exactly what they want you to do, GIVE UP!. Find a damn good lawyer and sue them for everything they have. It's time for America to permanently get rid of ALL THESE WORTHLESS TYRANTS.
Kyle, I know you don’t want to, but you need to get in these people’s faces. You need to file a police report for trespassing and you need to talk to each one of them so they know that they will be individually liable for any missteps. You need to do this because once people like this get away with it, they’ll do it to somebody else.
but, when these "Town Board" people are from your own hometown it's likely they or their parents know some if not all of them. Maybe not "friends' per se, but one always has to weight and balance the consequences of one's actions that may cause a lot of discomfort or pain for the rest of your life. Not necessarily "fair' but it's reality. Only they can decide what's acceptable to them and their lives.
Stand your ground! We will stand with you! Your place has a lot of potential’s especially it is now considered popular because of your videos. Don’t sell it!
Stand your ground kyle . It’s amazing how ppl can come on your property and tell you what to do with it. Tell em kick rocks !! & if the town is so interested tell them make an offer you can’t refuse
Don't give up "what will be will be.. All will be well" I just know it,,, everything works out for your best good ALWAYS have faith and keep moving FORWARD, 🙏❤️🙏
The treatment that you and Ally have been subjected to makes my blood boil. The neighbors seem like the type where they don't like change, rigid and uncompromising. The T&C army is behind both of you! You both put alot of blood, sweat, time and tears in it. In the end do what makes the most sense to you guys. God bless and protect both of you. And may you both find a smoother road ahead 🙏☘ we love you guys. You got this!
@meganmccormack5182: I've thought the same thing about the neighbors too when Kyle has said they were causing him grief in other videos. Some people just don't like change. I wonder too if they resent the area being exposed to us here on RUclips. Seems they want him and Ally out so they can keep living the way they have for generations.
If they live outside the city limits then they usually don't have to abide by the city's ordinances and code. It would be up to the county and county is usually more lienient. I used to work construction on houses that sat on city limits and anything outside the limits the city had no say. The thing we need to know is of the house is within city limits
@@Gabedudley1 Not a factual statement - you can certainly live off grid, it is just that each town has their own ordinances and requirements. Unfortunately, a lot of small towns try to push out anyone with cabins or try to classify them as full time residences making them non-conforming structures. This property needs someone with deep pockets to purchase it and get everything kosher with the town. I speak from personal experience - once one of these little towns has a hair across their butt against you it never stops.
I really hate when people in any official capacity abuse their status. It is WRONG! Having to lawyer up is costly and I believe Karma will be real for those town people. Your plan sounds solid. Blessings to you both.
I know everyone is telling you to stand your ground and fight... But I can see that you both feel a sense of relief at the idea of selling it. It doesn't mean you're giving up! They can never take away the memories you have of it, and the learning you earned from it, and everything that helped you grow there. Sometimes in life, we just have to let things go. I wish you both the best. Your outlook proves you'll thrive no matter where you end up.
Kyle and Ally - This is absolutely heartbreaking considering the history and the amount of work you have put into the cabin. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching the process and watching you two grow your Life together. But it also sounds like The Universe is sending you a message that it's time to move on and focus on your new home. So, it appears this was meant to be and is unfolding as it should. Bless you two on the new chapters of your Life together. Regardless of this, the city bureaucrats who are behind his ought to be ashamed.
Kyle, The journey you've been on and shared with all of us is what keeps us watching and involved. The cabins, the trucks, vans and gardens you've collected and created are magical, but they are nothing without the friendships, the dreams, plans and stories you've made and told along the way. Some of my favourite memories include watching and relating while you try to go fishing with a bud and get stuck in a river. Figuring out how to get out of the river. Laughing at your misfortunes. Learning from your unpreparedness or your boldness to venture where you are in the first place. Slowing down in that moment and appreciating what is around you.. your friendship with your pal.. the nature. Getting home, cracking a beer and laughing while you tell the story, and letting that story change every time you tell it, as you gain a new perspective in life and where you're at, and what that time means to you. The dream. The journey. Getting stuck. Laughing. The boldness. Friendships. Nature. Slowing down and appreciating. Learning and growing. Living life. Making stories and telling them. Connecting and inspiring. Seems I've almost forgot about the cabins and trucks entirely. Excited to follow as your adventure flows, shifts, and continues. D.
Put up no trespassing signs around your property. If they trespass call the police immediately. Press charges. They are causing you stress and you feel threatened. There is no need to live like that. You should never feel guilty. You have a right to have anything that you’ve worked hard for and earned. Also use your videos as evidence if you need to. Don’t just back down to these bullies. Lots of good energy to you and Ally.
This is heartbreaking that this town and the people there would go to those lengths to bring on a headache and heartache to you both. A good Attorney would help but it's about the bylaws in that township/county. I am sure that you will both find the solutions to help you with this issue. I will pray that you find a way to get this resolved without loosing the land.
This is awful 😞. Go see a lawyer, but be careful not to pick a lawyer that plays ball with these town people. Connecticut and Massachusetts have become so controlling about every little thing.
Kyle I have watched your videos for a couple years as well as sharing them with my Alzheimer’s clients. They love all the scenic views and the nature you have shown us. I hope you continue with your new home. Don’t sell cheap!!!!!
I appreciate your good attitude and approach. It makes me so upset to hear about this. I hope that somehow these people can be made an example so people know they cannot get away with this. I appreciate how you are dealing with it. I personally would not have been that nice.
Kyle this is so wrong! I've been watching you guys from the beginning, all that beautiful work you've done, all the good times. Fight this! No one should tell anyone what they should do on their own property! God bless you and Ali both! You're good people and deserve what you've worked hard for! ❤
So sorry to hear this news my friends 😔 Praying 🙏for you , stand firm, and don't let anyone push you out. Take care, stay safe 🙏 Appreciate you my friends!
I’m so sorry that Ally had to have that happen to her. I’ve absolutely loved watching you both grow and become skilled craftspeople working on this magical property, and I’m sure that will continue with the house. Wishing you both all of the best as you navigate this crazy time!
We love your videos. I watch them over and over. Ally is doing a great job filming as well. She is a gem and a real survivor. Don’t let her escape please !!!!
My heart breaks for you and Ally. I like many others have watched this cabin journey and have seen it turn into a beautiful space. It could be a sign, like you said, to let it go and move on given all of the stress and obstacles along the way. But if it's feasible, I wouldn't let those people get away with what they have done...trespassing and being vile humans. It's truly despicable. That is your property. I know you two will do what's best for your future. Sending light your way.
Whatever happens with the cabin, you will both be fine and will continue to build a beautiful future together. You've got mad skills and such enthusiasm for whatever you are creating. Thanks very much for all the effort you both put into shooting and editing and taking us along on your journey. Journey on!!!!!
Many people out there try to disempower those who do the work to live in harmony with the earth because it threatens their own shadow and instead of doing their own work to address those shadows they will go out of their way to project their darkness onto others. Love what you both do and praying these town people put their pitchforks down 💕✨
My husband and I love your channels and are livid about this. I was raised in a small village in rural Alaska and we had similar issues with the Town council, they were just a bunch of busybody jerks. I'm so sorry for Allie having to deal with us while you were gone. She has such a sweet spirit and her attitude about it was so kind and way less stabby than I would be. I would video tape any interaction with these goons. Good luck kids, We are rooting!
Awe, the fun never ends, does it ? Very well said and from the heart. Know your rights, Kyle, then make your decision. You and Ally are sovereign beings and have rights. It’s not like you are squatters. You both have worked so hard there. Ally is so brave. How mean spirited of those people to bully her. Hope it works out for you. Love you both and praying for a good outcome. 🙏 Hoping someone here can help you. Hang in there. 😘
Just last night, I was watching your last video and wondering how you two amazing people were going to be able to keep up with all the work at both the cabin and the A frame. It really doesn't seem feasible. I think you're doing the right thing if you decide to sell the cabin and put all your eggs in one basket as the saying goes. You and Ally are such wonderful humans. I wish you both everything good in life and I look forward to seeing how awesome you are going to make the A frame turning it into everything you want it to be.
You’ve created a magical little place there and you’ve allowed all of us to come on the journey and enjoy it with you. Thank you for that. I am praying that you get a great offer and someone else who loves the land as much as you will get to take over the care of it. Keep believing in yourself and in each other. You both inspire us all. Love from Barbados
I so understand when you said the other house needs so much work. That's where i am right now. But i so want to do it again but like you said, a real getaway.
Kyle, do what is best for you and Ally! I’ve watched you from day one building this cabin. It was fun watching you grow with it as you build it into something you love. But sometimes, we need to let go of that something. Whatever you choose, as a viewer, I’ll back you up and pray for you. 🤍
you can use your skills wherever you are. Definitely take cuttings off your favorite plants. I have raspberries and grapes in town from a former property of my grandmothers. They go where I go.
My gut feeling (for what it’s worth): If you’ve been seriously questioning if it’s worth keeping and you’re continually stressing about it, I think I would see this as a sign that it’s time to let it go. Remove the stress (which is unlikely to end) and concentrate on the house and what makes you happy. Just the thoughts of an old man who’s had a fair share of stress in life.
Wisdom comes with age from an old lady. I had many houses , some I lost and some gain. Finally I said I need less stress and my old bones can't do it. Now I rent and it's been a right choice from my health and age
Wow, “Karen’s “ abound everywhere. You guys are awesome and I’m so sad to hear that busy bodies up there can’t appreciate what you bring to the area. Keep your chins up. Don’t let the wankers get you down!
Me & my husband are furious .. you must fight this 😡 who does this?? Don’t let them push you around ..you guys have worked yr butts off getting to where u .. I love to have y’all for neighbors ❤
I love watching you and Ally cherish the beauty and simplicity of living life. I admire that you’re both so young and can physically conquer any challenges and rise to the occasion while still having fun. I’ll never stop watching you both! However, go to the meeting with a knowledgeable attorney who can defend the rights that they have violated and set the ground back in your favor. Don’t get pushed into a decision, rather sell on your own grounds and timing. The memories captured can always be watched again!❤

I totally agree with what your saying
I agree with this too Kyle. Turn it into Airbnb and you’ll have a profit for life! Think long term.
Do not submit to evil intent.

Do NOT let them push you out! Someone sees the potential of this property and want your property. DON’T cave. STAND strong.

The Democrats are tyrants
You nailed it. Years ago, I watched a similar situation unfold. It was a joint operation between two families that wanted the property so they did everything they could to create this type of problem for the residents who were doing nothing illegal. No one can mind their own business anymore and a bloated government constantly dictating our lives.
@@qcradio6210 facts! It is sickening.
Kyle, it wouldn't surprise me if you find out one of the locals wants the property. Best to the both of you. It'll all work out.
But don’t sell it to him! Get the highest bid if you go that way.
Yup 🎯
Sounds like one person started all this and it’s snowballed with the rest of the townspeople. I don’t know the laws in your state but it seems you should have things in writing from them. It doesn’t seem right that they just turn up. Even if you did decide to fight this, the bad feeling will always be there. I’m so sorry this has happened to you. It’s very sad. All the very best to you and Allie.
This is the second video today RUclips recommended to me about people being kicked off their land. We need to stand together and fight these tyrants
Unfortunately if you go down the rabbit hole of land ownership you will want to stay blind.
Bullys!
That's the problem... they don't watch the videos and have no need for soylful nurishment....unfortunately for them.

A couple of suggestions:
I wish you good luck.
i hope they dot give up your right
Yep, and where the public roadway connects to your property road entrance put up a sign & gated entrance to prevent trespassers driving up your road etc.

I would call the police too. But I might also sell it too!

You mean cease and desist.
We're never really free, are we?

I put up no tresspassing signs on my property in a small city this week to keep off people and their pitbulls. Must have signs up else police won't enforce.

Dont want to be a conspiracy theorist but one word: 😢Maui
I'm not saying don't sell. I'm saying help the next owner know their rights and always KNOW YOUR RIGHTS.
Allie should be able to look at them and say NO! Get off my property YOUR breaking the law! Or say Call my lawyer.
@@hebrews48 in Texas we have a Stand your Ground Law. Purple marks on perimeter trees mean “Tresspassers May get shot!” Not kidding. God Bless Texas!
Exactly what I’m praying abt for them.
Exactly! Get it documented. Get in their face and don’t jump through their hoops.
They may try to mess up the sale of the off grid home.
too late .. if anyone knows the issues they won’t buy
@@Ironkitten83 Yes they will because they'll know their rights. Kyle and Ally may have been caught off-guard by this "band" of thugs, but it won't take long for an attorney to fix things. If they want to stay, they'll be able to. If they want to sell, they'll be able to.

I wish Allie could have videotaped them when they came to their cabin and tried bullying her!

You should never never ever, let a government tell you what to do in a scenario like this.
Exactly. Give them an inch and the rest of us are also in jeopardy because they’ll never ever stop
Fr I'd stand my ground..live my state motto..live free or die!
At a minimum, you will have to protect your rights or you will have nothing to sell. This is why it is important to pay attention to local elections and don't vote in people who cannot support individual freedom and the constitutional rights.
This is why you don’t buy property in liberal hippie retirement towns filled with Karen’s who have nothing better to do.
Don’t let anyone tell you what you can and cannot do with YOUR property! Stand your ground. Love you place man! Don’t quit and keep pushing through
the color grading and cinematography on this video is insane. really liked the mic walk with the stool very subtly planned and its these extra details that many people don't notice that makes videos like these so great.
I'm so sorry this is happening to you guys. I have been watching you guys for a long time and know this was never a permanent residence. So, if they have been watching as well then they should know that. It sounds like jealousy and bullying.
Yes all bullies!! 😡😡😡
I know right… I hate bullies! 🤬
Yes I think it’s jealousy and they are bullies.
Stand your ground man! Get a lawyer if possible to explore your options. Dont let these dirt bags run you off your property. But only if its in your heart.
Trump is an example of trying to stand your ground against the government. Good luck
He won’t. He’s clearly a man-child spending mommy and daddy’s money and quits when there’s a hint of adversity. Pathetic.
I agree. They are so inspiring and refreshing from the mainstream videos of people showing you what they are in a day
I have health issues, and it does help immensely to watch the videos that are so well done, versed etc. They're so peaceful and calming.❤
This is like kicking The Van Wives
and Tyler and Todd
off their off grid land... I'm so sorry you're both going through this.
You two, young people, are just freaking amazing to me. I'm 67 and was still living at home when I was 22! Look at your accomplishments and growth!!!!
Wow. I'm so sorry you're going through this. People can just be awful. You have our full support and we'll be sending prayers and well wishes. Hang in there Kyle.
Yeah, because prayers will really help!
Agree...😉🙏💙💜
Also put up cameras, and get these people on film and document their trespassing. What they are doing is illegal.

Rubbish they can not get away with it no matter the consequences in this case as they did nothing wrong 😡
Stand your ground! We will stand with you! Your place has a lot of potential’s especially it is now considered popular because of your videos. Don’t sell it!
CALL A LAWYER!! You cannot afford not to. What they are doing to you is NOT legal but if you don’t fight back, it is on you.
Stand your ground kyle . It’s amazing how ppl can come on your property and tell you what to do with it. Tell em kick rocks !! & if the town is so interested tell them make an offer you can’t refuse
So sorry for you and Ally. They had no business accosting her. Get legal advice and do what’s right for you both. ❤🙏🏻
@@lauriejenkshale3371 I agree with you. I'm so sad over this.
I don't understand, if the cabin is not in the city limits, how does it fall under their jurisdiction?! Yes, you must contact a lawyer.
You cant live off grid in usa
Yes you can@@Gabedudley1
@@Gabedudley1 they don’t live their full time.
From the West here, couldn't imagine someone just walking onto private property. Around here, there would be severe consequences for that!
Sorry for all the stress. You and Ally will make the decision that best works for you both in your lives right now.
I'm sorry you and your family are going through this. Hope it works out well in your favor. (This is my first time seeing your video.)
Kyle,
The journey you've been on and shared with all of us is what keeps us watching and involved.
D.
Stand your ground. Your heart and sole has gone into this place and it has been a pleasure to watch you transform the cabin to what it is now.
Trespassing, Harassment, get a Lawyer. I am sure there are people that watch your videos that are Lawyers and would love to get a lot of press time!
I hope that somehow
these people can be made an example so people know they cannot get away with this.
I don’t understand how they have any leverage to kick you out? You guys do whatever makes you happy and at peace.
So sorry to hear this news my friends 😔 Praying 🙏for you , stand firm, and don't let anyone push you out. Take care, stay safe 🙏 Appreciate you my friends!
So sorry to hear this , I’ve really loved seeing this cabin come alive
Please do not give up. Thats what they want you to do !! Praying for you ..... God will see you thru this..
get a lawyer
Yes please do!,
Whatever happens with the cabin, you will both be fine and will continue to build a beautiful future together. You've got mad skills and such enthusiasm for whatever you are creating. Thanks very much for all the effort you both put into shooting and editing and taking us along on your journey. Journey on!!!!!
We had a cabin that was more stressful than relaxing, so i definitely understand. Poor Ally!! I bet she was shaken.
They want it because it’s Magnificent and yours and Allies hard work has transformed it into such a beautiful place ❤
Hoping someone here can help you. Hang in there. 😘
It’s about having peace of mind. Enjoy your new home darlin. Happy for you
Just last night, I was watching your last video and wondering how you two amazing people were going to be able to keep up with all the work at both the cabin and the A frame.
You do what you guys want to do Kyle, don't let those JOffs ruin it for you.
Don't leave the cabin, that's what they want you to do. It's a beautiful place that anyone would love to have. ☺
Kyle, do what is best for you and Ally! I’ve watched you from day one building this cabin. It was fun watching you grow with it as you build it into something you love. But sometimes, we need to let go of that something. Whatever you choose, as a viewer, I’ll back you up and pray for you. 🤍
DO NOT GIVE UP. Fight the good fight don't let them run you off your land. I'd look into pressing charges for trespassing and then harassing ally.
you can use your skills wherever you are.
I agree with you!
I second that.
Many memories here. Thanks. 💙🌸🌙🐌
Wisdom comes with age from an old lady. I had many houses , some I lost and some gain. Finally I said I need less stress and my old bones can't do it. Now I rent and it's been a right choice from my health and age
Is looking like that’s what he is going to do to pay his debts and go fully on the second house. He has mixed feelings which is understandable.
I am so sorry to hear your news! It is so sad!
Thank you for keeping us in the loop. We support you and wish you both the best always!
