"The French lived off the land, why not us?"
"Yes...and that's why there's guerillas fighting against the French."
Taking apples without paying... That's scrumping.
Funny and original
Teresa and Sharpe give each other the eye. That's flirting.
Well sir, upon sighting Sharpe and his men I naturally made a complete Ass of myself. That’s my style, sir!
-simmerson, probably
Did any apples distinguish themselves?
Delicious Green Apple delivered, sir. You could say that he is tied to the Reds by blood. But is it a tie for blood that will tie my tongue and rob an apple of distingishment, no sir!
@att This is a report from Major McIntosh, which differs somewhat from your account, Sir LordWyatt.
McIntosh is merely an Engineer, sir-
@@LordWyatt Major McInosh's apple pie crust bakes up tight over a number of other duties, Sir LordWyatt. Major McIntosh reports a number of losses, Sir LordWyatt. He says you first lost your head, and instead of washing the apples, you peeled them dirty. He says you then lost your nerve, and ran from a small apple peeler. He says you lost ten Galas, a Honeycrisp, and two Jonagolds. He says you finally lost your sense of honour and cored the apples, cutting off a rescue party led by Lieutenant Cortland. Major McIntosh leaves the worst to the last. He says you lost the King's Applesauce.
A new Sharpe clip midweek. A treat sir, and no mistake!!
That's good diplomating!
Loosing his temper.
Now that's Simmersoning
A young John Barnaby being a baddie, and a very young James Bond being really bad.
That simmerson is so silly...well i guess thats what you get from someone who lost the kings colors..😅
I think he hasn't lost them yet.
Shacking up with Commandant Teresa...now that's soldering.
Making fools of the Coffee house fop and his no good nephew?
Now that's Soldiering
Boy! That's a blast from the past!
And the partnership of Sharpe and Teresa really starts to get establish.
"Shoot the black guard, don't move Sir Henry, sharp shooters sir, all aiming at you"
Damn it Hogan....let him move!
Did he say that, or did he say "blaggard"?
@@richardmoss5934 Blaggard
@@richardmoss5934 and what might blaggard be slang for then?
@@schaferhundschmidt1798 I'm not sure that i's a slang word, rather a regular English word meaning a scoundrel or untrustworthy person.
Crazy how this account can still post content over a decade after the show ends. That’s YouTubing!
This is Sharpe's Eagle not Peril.
everything is sharpe's peril the last 2 months i guess
Prolonged eye contact with an attractive Spanish woman. That's flirting.
This is highly manipulative of the audience, and I fall for it every time. The arrogant British officer, brandishing his class standing as well as his sword, versus the battle-hardened Irish troops and officer, according the Brit the absolute minimum of deference and invoking the orders of a general as well as common decency. The checkmating by the sharpshooters on the heights, humbling the arrogant officer, and then the arrival of the beautiful Spanish comandante, stunning despite her mannish clothing, seated on a fleece-lined saddle and completing the humiliation of the arrogant Brit. I recall that he is repeatedly squelched, because he learns nothing from his blunders.
Running Away Sir. That's my style.
Notice when it comes to the diplomacy part it’s hogan doing all the talking while simmerson sits there with a sour face.
This is absolutely NOT Sharpe’s Peril.
Sharpe's Eagle
I have the entire series fantatasic.
There was always one in a green jacket, he smokes a pipe, he wasnt a proper actor, he worked for the company that made the rifles and was there to keep them in order, now thats keeping them soldiering
Why is she called the needle ? , now thats asking .
Uses a thin sharp knife on her enemies.
Now that's replying ,@@julianaylor4351
