Upon sighting a new Sharpe video I immediately clicked. That’s my style, sir!
Being the first to comment, that’s overcompetivateering, sir!
Major Hogan paints a completely different account Lord Wyatt.
Major Hogan is merely an Engineer, sir-
"There is no sin being born in the dirt, boys - but its a terrible sin to want to stay there."
A great line, aye.
That could be on my tombstone, if I get a tombstone.
It's absolutely right too.
Harper really embraced being a sergeant. Not just the rank, but the responsibility.
The rank eats the personality, and all that's left is an amalgamation of the two.
Harper is the best friend everyone needs: loyal, respectful and smart enough to know when his friends are going too far and how to talk to them in these situations.
Crazy how these men would become amazing soldiers and super loyal to Sharpe in the many battles to come
Harper always knew what approach to take to get the best out of his men in any given situation. Instead of sweating 'em he sweeted 'em and they were back in the palm of his hand. Now that's Sergeanting.
Now that's whoooorin.....
Giving a fine speech to your men, that's Harpering.
Every time "Sharpe" is off screen, this show instantly becomes so incredibly good, because all the actors are so good. God damn.
I liked that not all of the chosen men instantly warmed to sharpe. Obviously Harper is loyal but I like that Sharpe earnt their respect and vice versa.
And it wasn't an easy task to earn Harper's respect either.
Bet Harper was gutted not to be in the middle of it. Looked like the lads were having a great time!
Thats what you lose by getting promoted, you are no longer quite one of them anymore, even if Harper is “just” sergent its still enough to not get invited to the fun
Not now! Jezebel...😂
I just bought the first season on Amazon. One of my favorite ever.
I have a cousin at Horse Guards, and friends in court. They let me know when that blasted Sharpe posts a video.
Where was Hogan's motivational speech? I only heard Harper!
''Not Now, Jezebel.''
🍀
And bro, how do you watch sharpe in India??
Not like in India but like him and Harper
So sad they all die except Harper and Sharpe 😭
Not sure about Cooper and Tongue, though.
@@julianaylor4351 Tongue died
@@tom-vf1xv Sad.
The worst part of war, I've been told, is not dying in it, but living through it when others didn't.
@@tom-vf1xv If I'm not mistaken, Tongue was *supposed* to die in Sharpe's Gold by hanging according to the books, but instead he just disappeared ever since Sharpe's Company.
First!
