It wasn't a fur convention, but earlier this year I managed to attend a d23 Expo, the ultimate Disney fan event, and because I've never been to a fan event like this, let's just say that first day, even though I went with my stepmother was pretty stressful for a guy like me. However, the later two days of the event worked out much better. I didn't get a chance to see everything I wanted to see, but nevertheless, it was a fun time and I've always made sure to take good care of myself
Yeah one time me and my sister went to a con but once we got there she felt miserable but letter she felt better but once she got to the shops area she just threw up. The next day she had the flu really badly kinda wish I didn't try on her suit🤣🙏🙏

The rule was developed in the science fiction fandom, probably in the 80s or 90s. The earliest mention of it in the furry fandom that I found dates to a November1998 Usenet post. I'm not aware of any studies that have dome to test the claim that following the rule will decrease chance of getting con crud. However, the rule makes sense and keep in mind that they are minimums. One's body needs sleep to recover each night. One needs at least two meals a day to have the energy to be active at the con and fight off disease. The one shower a day rule is to be courteous to one's fellow attendees as no one wants to smell body odor in the con spaces.

Last furcon I had a bad headache on Day 2 after not following 621 rule. Thus, I missed out a lot panels and DD. Learned my lesson.
