Thanks for the video, Dave! Those counterfeits are plentiful in bargain lots. When I went for my first electronics job, it was at DBX in Watertown, Ma. I took a short exam orally. When quizzed I was shown a circuit diagram and when asked what a component was, I immediately replied OP Amp! What they wanted to hear was comparator. That was a quick learning experience.....Wish I had gotten in there as they made some pretty impressive audio compressors and noise reduction equipment.
Splitting hairs. What is this op amp circuit was the correct way of putting it. Counterfeit parts are a real problem but TL074s. They are cheap and plentiful not like most of the high priced hard to find stuff that gets counterfeit. Thanks for watching.

You could try an upgrade with some ZIFF sockets, other then that, sweet build!
Yeah. I have a 40 pin ZIF and have been working on the rewire of the board. It would make it a bit nicer to use and the sockets wouldn't wear out.
