    This is my biggest fear. I was doing a delivery once and I saw a baby cougar. It went into a bush on the Side of a house I had just delivered to. I was hoping the person wasn’t gonna get jumped when she came out for her food. Don’t order chicken. 😂

    I live among them in the CA mountains. I carry a heavy oak walking stick and a 9mm pistol just in case. I’ve seen one attack a deer in my yard and even a full grown man doesn’t stand a chance. The ones that are dangerous are the 1 year old newly emancipated lions who haven’t figured out deer hunting yet and an injured older one that can’t hunt. A healthy adult probably won’t bother you.

    There absolutely no way. I would be moving. People are no match for these wild animals. They can do whatever they want. I definitely will not be encounter one, because I will not be where they are. I am glad the man is doing well. Thank God.

    Fountain Hills area used to have them wondering on the edge of town in the late 90's early 2000's... Superstition Mountains had them as well. Number of attacks back then as well around uhm... Horseshoe Falls(?) involving young children being dragged by their head. I'd say odds are this one was rabid or somehow damaged which prevented it from getting its normal food sources.

    There’s been quite a few
    Mountain lion attacks along with coyotes and wolves..

  • @jibberoverjava
    @jibberoverjava Год назад

    Coyotes in urban and city areas are ignored with great carelessness but no definitely not a lion or a bear. Which one occurs more often the coyote attack or the bear or mountain lion attack. Everyone fears wolves, but almost always wolves do a mercykill going for the throat while all other beasts tear you to pieces and eat you alive. When we go into their areas and get attacked we say oh that's because we are in their area. But when they're in our area and we get attacked we say we have to learn to live with them. They're obviously learning to live among us but not "with us". We already have enough crime in human areas, we don't need animals adding to it. If we killed them in our areas they'd surely go live elsewhere. If learning to live with them worked we wouldn't be getting killed or attacked by them... They Are Wild. You can't treat wild animals like spoiled children and have a guilt complex letting them do whatever they want because you feel guilty that you took something away from them. The elites own most of the land that wild animals would live in. They want seclusion for their lavish lifestyles of vacationing and hunting. The elites own most of the animal's home land area. It's not the city or suburban home building/development that's taking their land away when you consider that those areas are relatively small compared to what the elites own...hoard. It's the greedy elites who can afford to buy entire mountains and chase off wild animals from it so they could feel safe from wolves bears and mountain lions and especially keeping typical people far away from their vacation homes while they are busy buying up our affordable living areas and racking our rent up around our necks like nooses. Animals have their area to live in and people have their area to live in. Only nonsensical people think that's a nonsensical idea. If we have to respect their area then they have to respect ours. Human areas didn't always exist. They were created by humans just the way animal areas are created and protected by animals from humans we have the right to protect our areas from animals too. You'll see all these other animals coming into human areas except for the wolf. The wolf the most blamed the most feared the most persecuted. Is the one that respects humans the most. If you've ever seen what coyotes do to deer you would say what I say... If I had to choose what animal I would be killed by I would choose a wolf without even thinking about it. He'd be the least likely to eat me while I had to watch.
    Shame on the people that disrespect animal boundaries and allow them to disrespect human boundaries. Both ways our lack of respect for life.

    Sounds like a GREAT reason to take a Glock along with you... Glocks don't care about being scuffed, dinged or dropped... Glocks don't care at all about being submerged in water.. Even Salt... Heck, even a .380 ACP like a silly lil LCP that you don't even care about losing, will bring the pain IF you know how to shoot... (fingernail polish around the primers work excellently on keeping bullets water tight). There is no reason NOT to take a "pocket gun", or if legal a legit firearm... Compact or subcompact 9mm or .40 S&W properly loaded.. IF you are a tree hugging peta-phile, I will begrudgingly agree that bear spray might actually work unless you are being charged.. Personally, ANY cat that is targetting me or other humans will get dropped, one way or another... Been around plenty of mountain lions, most I actually mistakenly came very close to without seeing them. I only had one stalk me, and I shot it dead... Left it for the other animals.. Oh, and I DO NOT hunt them... I'm fine with those who do, but I've killed too much in previous decades.. I prefer to watch them now.. But, I wouldn't hesitate to shoot anything coming for me.. Hope this man recovered completely...

There is a difference between people seeking adventure or simply just living an RV lifestyle for a while to those who are straight homeless living out of a van, school bus, or an old bred van.

    Lions need to be hunted to re-instill their natural fear of humans. Otherwise, you are inviting tragic consequences.

      Agreed. Starting in the urban and city areas first and not just the mountain lion but the coyotes and the bears along with them. Hunting them where you want them to live is upside down. Makes them move into our areas.
