Thanks your explanation was very very clear you did good job, because this let me to think and learning before to buying a scanner thank again brother!!! From Australia!….
Excellent video, thanks for taking the time to share. Could you recommend a scan tool for all service functions and is compatible with a 2004 Subaru WRX and an 2006 STi AU models. Cheers
Hi RSB Harley, the best value for money for your vehicle models would be the Vident i400AU here www.azscanners.com.au/vident-ilink400-au-scan-tool-single-make-professio
My list is a bit different, #1 does the company even answer email, or communicate with the end user? #2 does the company actively update the tool? , and #3 and this is a big one, what is the yearly update pricing? Now that is something no dealer talks about. Some yearly update prices are are outrageous, some much better. Some have 3 years free to start, others only one. Choose wisely. Xtool had the best all round package for me, for a at home tool. Is a snap on better, you bet it is, it’s faster, has the best support, is the easiest to use, and a price that only makes sense for a busy shop, doing lots of diagnostics.
chipster, Yup, fully agree with your comment. Best to do your homework before making any purchase, eg customer feedback, reviews and recommendations. Unfortunately I didn't do that!!.. Google search "bavariandominator @ the Review Centre"
They won't tell you which pins have wires connected. 2&10, 6&14, 7&15 are ISO however most scan tools will NOT have all these pins wired to the scanner 🤬
Nice OBDII history lesson. I thought everywhere had OBDII since 1996. This is interesting, thanks!
Cheers. We are happy to hear that you liked the video. Please stay tuned as we have more coming.

I have an xtool too. Excellent customer service. They got back to me in less than 24 hours.

Thanks cleared a few things on buying a scanner well explained from a possible Teesside / Durham lad 👍👨🏻🏭🇬🇧
Yep, beautiful Hartlepool, nestled between Teesside and Durham. I tried to tone it down, is it really that noticeable still 😂?
You can take the lad from Hartlepool but you can’t take Hartlepool from the lad good luck 👍👨🏻🏭🇬🇧
Good Video! Please use a decent mic, cause the audio is horrible and most of the info is s audio.
Happy to hear that you liked the video and thank you for your feed back. Yes certainly we will be looking for a mic when doing our next videos.
@@azscanners On iPad Pro sound quality is excellent for me on this video. but for other devices perhaps it won’t be.
get a cavalier shirt mic
Good video. Lavaliere shirt mic would help, the real problem is the acoustics in the room, opening the door would also help.
😂 this dude looks like a young Mel Gibson
😅 Thank you for the compliment 😃
