    Points to note
    Sections
    First section- Ear to nape
    Second section -Ear to temple
Top section - Crown of head
    Ear to nape
Once you are confident with the section secure it out of the way.
    Ear to temple
Since everyone's hairline is different try to line the temple with the center of each eyebrow
Align the comb horizontally and connect it to each side.
    Middle section
    Separate it into two parts.
Tip:Use the tail of comb for parting long lines and use the tooth end for fine detailed work .
    Symmetry parts
Turn the comb vertically and part downwards to create the other box.
    To have even boxes
Locate the mid point of the nape and create a vertical line to endure an even distribution on each side
Work your way upwards with a standard brick lay method.
To maintain symmetry create vertical lines on the second row that cut right down the middle of each box on the bottom row
Note: For symmetry box it's best to start with the foundation of an even row of boxes because boxes have four sides and four angles.
    Triangle parts
Since triangles have three sides and three angles , it's best to start the foundation of the row with an odd number such as 3,5,7,9.... to have points that you can match the triangles to as you move up in the rows.

I’ve always watched braiding videos but for some reason I never had the confidence to pick up some braiding hair until I stumbled upon your braid school series. I did box jumbo box braids (really badly) for the first time in my life last week !! I’m getting myself a Sheila to practice on because I’m done with wearing wigs and there are five women in my house and none of us know how to braid so you can imagine how much money we spend on hair 😂 my mom said to me finally we are going to have a braider in the house. Your videos are amazing !!! Thank you ❤️❤️

This was such a great video. Your explanations and demos were very detailed and you made them simple for the average lay person to understand (being a lay person I truly appreciate your simplistic “Parting for dummies” approach 😂😂). Your confidence in wielding that comb... Chile! You moved that comb like 5th degree Wu-tang hair parting Master! That little girl’s hair parted like it was about to get a whoopin’! 😂😂😂. Oh & your disclaimer. Yes! Exactly! Ain’t nobody (me) trying to take over the braiding world. I just want to be able to give my daughters’ nice looking braids & parts, when the mood hits me (especially when my & their coins are short) leave their edges intact, & strive to make them look as professional as I can make it. This video won me over. I just hit the subscribe button. Thanks so much for sharing your expertise. Keep ‘em coming. ❤️

And it also cant get pricey with three females going to their hair braided. I also learn techniques on braiding my son's natural hair. He only wants cornrows or braid styles that he is only going to wear for a few days not like my girls so its cheaper for me to do his hair. AGAIN THANKS FOR STARTING BRAID SCHOOL. Love love love the Disclaimer! So true with COVID19 going on I’m taking the time out furring my pregnancy to learn to braid. One reason being to be successful with future endeavors and secondly to take care of my baby girls hair as well as mine. Thank you for your positive and professional maturity. The videos have been a great help. Keep them coming!

    I LOVE THIS VIDEO!!!
Now that I have a little Daughter who likes being CUTE I NEED This Skill!!
She has Mixed hair being Im Afroscendent and her Dad is Caucasian so I want to make sure that she looks as beautiful as all Giddup cause shes got the best of both of us in her hair.
Shes got My thickness and more curl than her Daddy BUT she has his soft texture and ridiculous length. So needless to say her Crown of Glory deserves me doing My BEST Hair work.
I went to school for doing Natural Locks but we just learned how best to care for natural hair with natural products and how to just finger part everything since Traditional Locks dont do the whole cultivated parting.
Ive always wanted to learn how to do beautiful symmetrical parts and this video was incredible and VERY Informative.
You Dear Lady are totally AWESOME!!
And the fact that doing braids has so much mathematics and science behind it says alot about our Afroscendent Ancestors and how dang Intelligent they were!!
I LOVE videos like this that remind people just how Low Key and Humbly Brilliant My Fellow Afroscendent People are.
We as a people dont brag too much about it, but we are a Nation of Geniuses if I may brag alittle on behalf of My People.
But back to being Humble, THIS right here is ART and AMAZING!!
Im totally gonna use ALL this knowledge Ive gained here and be even better at doing my little Angels hair.
Thanks So Much For Sharing This!!!!
IDK who would EVER have a problem with this knowledge being freely shared but clearly theyre a selfish idiot and they need to learn the value of Love of Kindness.

Do you have a video or tips on how to part when you reach the crown/top of the head? That always seems to mess me up

These are also known as hair tessellations and I'm so glad you demonstrated how to do them neatly. Beauticians are also mathematicians!🤎
