This was actually the first Nba Live in which they removed the ratings filter. In previous games like Nba live 2003 2002 and 2001 an 80 overall player in game is 60 overall on the database save files, the same thing as a 90 overall player is 80 as per save file . NLSC has a formula for computing this. Overall rating / 2 +50. So Lebrons rating 69 /2 +50 is actually 85 overall in terms of actuall in game strength. In this game the Detroit pistons players ratings which was ranging to 60+ overall and a 75 overall Ben Wallace became the eventual champions. In this game a 60+ overall player is actually a good player while 50+ is average 40+ is poor 70+ is already very good 80+ to 90s are legendary or excellent players already.
This is a great channel

No one rating was accurate, even Darko is rated higher than what he really was!
Yeah I'm not sure why the ratings in Live 2004 are so messed up. I feel like they started to correct this in 2005.
Because he's the 2nd pick and not playing an NBA game yet
