I don’t like much these monsters alive, they are ugly, but products of leather from them are beautiful. It is a fine feeling to have this beautiful leather on my wrist , I can recommed it strongly!

      @@maggiedarell7189 Yes. It is sad if exotic leather and fur are being banned because of campaign of animal activists, who know nothing about the world. I dont support illegal hunting of endangered animals but hunting is very reasonable in many cases and we definitely have right to use them. So, I use exotic leather with absolutely no bad conscience! And back to your comment - it’s interesting how the value of the animal for us changes over time!

    The only question that remains is how the leather was sourced. I am assuming it was farmed. I just hope the meat was used as well, otherwise it seems wasteful and kind of cruel to me, but that's personal opinion. I think the leather is beautiful, but way out of my price point. But at least now I can identify the leather in case I ever get the chance to either buy the leather itself, or a product made out of it.

    • @FischerWorkshopsTaiwan
      @FischerWorkshopsTaiwan  7 лет назад +5

      All the alligator I purchase is regulated by the government and whether wild or farmed each piece is tagged with a license by a legal farmer or hunter. Although I'm not familiar with the harvesting regulations in each country, I do know that the meat is usually as popular as the skins. It doesn't make economical sense to throw the meat away because of it's value. Thanks for commenting!

    • @desirebaker5775
      @desirebaker5775 7 лет назад +3

      Fischer Workshops I figured as much, since the meat does taste good. Good to know every skin comes with a tag ensuring it was legally harvested, wether wild caught or farmed. And thank you for answering my question, I am sure some other people might wonder the same thing.

    • @lukasbejcek8841

      I think people are entitled to use crocodile skin as much as any other animal skin. I don’t think these monsters are poached - they are kept in farms or hunted legally because they can be dangerous for people. I think even it would not be unethical if they were killed just for leather and meat was wasted - similar to fur farms... That is my opinion.

      What’s the problem? I have ever seen it. Of course these creatures have to be killed, but they are either slaughtered as livestock or legally shot in the wild to prevent attack on people. I couldn’t have worn no leather, if I had problem with killing animals. If I decide to wear a leather watch strap, a cow, a calf or a crocodile has to die, so I don’t find any problem in a choice of crocodile. People have used animals since old times. So, I dont think you find here many opposers of the animal use.
