Open where the batteries are, there is a reset button, press it , a bit and a orange light will blink, within seconds type a pass code 3 to 8 digits then press pound key. You should be set

Why are there holes in it?? that defeats the entire purpose of the safe. Hole = easy access
The holes are for bolting it to the wall to avoid it being able to be picked up and carried off.
