Damn this musical is metal. I thought it was just gonna be some sappy historical romance (which it kinda is) but we got executions by hanging, shooting, and now we see partisans throwing corpses into a ravine while women cry in the background... I respect that 100% tbh. War, revolution, and cruel totalitarian regimes are the last things anyone would want to sugarcoat
