- Basic tank top comfort!
I used my Addi 46 needle machine and my Addi Egg.
I also used a 4.0 mm crochet hook.
Two balls of Loops and Threads, Heathered Tweed yarn in the color, Iceberg.
Each ball is 150 grams. (For those of you who need that number!) ❤️

Ohhh I love the short sleeve jacket. WOW.
Thank you!😊
Just finished my top. I used some angora mix yarn 2ply , and it’s beautiful. Love it so much I am going to make another one. Thank you Shelley xxxxx

@@anniesmith6370 Thank you so much! 😊
This tutorial is really wonderful - every step from cast on to sew up is so clear - both visually and audibly. Thank you ❤❤❤
Thank you 😊 and…. Your very welcome! 😊
WOW!! Love your tank top🤍. I’m shocked I can make a tank top with different panels, thanks for the easy to understand tutorial👍🏻.
Your so welcome! 😊
Oh i wonder if you can use the 22 and make a thick or kind of a capped sleeve... hmm
You are such a whiz at this circular knitting. Can't wait to have more time to knit.
I am home full time now so I have lots of time to play! 🥰
I love this tank top! Once I finish this scarf and hat can't remember the yarn or the title of the pattern (but the colorway was red macaron) this tank top is next! What a great addition to my wardrobe. (You call behind the needle is actually where the stitch is made so I would call that in front of the needle. Just a different perspective, I guess.)
Thank you for your perspective! I may change mine. ❤️
I plan to try and make this. I have a sweater made with scarfie yarn and the top under it would be perfect with the same yarn. Thanks for the tutorial!
Thanks so much! I've been looking for something like this! Tip on the cast on waste yarn, do a single row of a contrasting color second waste yarn between your cast on and the work. You can easily pull the single row out, and it detaches the cast on as a single piece.
Thank you I have shown that tip in one video and it is a good idea.
I roll my waste yarn into a ball as I remove it and find I prefer doing it this way. But thank you 🥰 I will demonstrate that option more often.
Yes I know that trick and I finally used it last night. It was so cool!!! Is your tank warm? I want to make one with wider straps so i can wear my bra withoutmy straps showing. I just don't want to be hot in 2 layers.
Nena Alto you posted under someone else’s comment so i hope you see this……
It is warm. Cozy warm. Not hot.
I made the straps like that so my bra strap wouldn’t show. It’s wide enough.
hello fellow manitoban i am from richer and love watching your videos i have taught myself how to crochet i have also [purchased a knitting machine and am slowly learning how to use it , it helps me watching you so thank you so much
Hi there, Manitoba friend! 🥰 Thank you for watching! Have fun! ❤️
This is very nice. You keep pulling up the top up it's not falling down. Maybe your jewelry on top is too heavy. You are stretching yarn when you pull it.
Thank you for the tip. 🥰
It's not just your fuzzy yarn, I used a gold color thin yarn and it had a worse problem with stitches snagging in the up position on the teeth of the Addi egg I bought. I thought it was just my inexperience with the Addi Egg.💖💖🙏🙏💖💖
I will likely always use the egg with that clear lid off so I can watch the needles. It’s not different than our other machines. 🥰
Cute top Shelley. So nice for summer or under a sweater like you did. Another one for my bucket list🙀 i like the cardigan.
Lol! Get at it! Can’t wait to see! Please post in our FB group once you start making things on that bucket list.
@@koalaknitsandknacksaddicrochet 🤣🤣🤣I’m practicing making panels. Watching your videos looks so easy😵💫😵💫 but will practice more before committing to garment. Enjoy your ice cream.
The most important tip for panels is watching the first needle on each row.
You got this! ❤️
@@koalaknitsandknacksaddicrochet thanks Shelley. I use weights and hold tension at ends but still drops stitches 🤨 practice makes perfect, right! Thanks for the encouragement. Will keep at it.
I love this idea. The idea of creating panels and sewing them together gives me a lot of ideas. For example, my granddaughter asked me to make a doll bed blanket. I recently purchased a Sentro 22 needle machine and have been experimenting finding out what yarns are good for the machine. I could easily make some panels, sew them together and make a doll bed blanket. Thanks for sharing. For a top, do you think this would work using a cotton/linen yarn?
Of course you could. Click on videos on my channel and make a blanket the same way just much smaller. 🥰
This is awesome.
What lubricant did you end up using for your addi?
@@SherisBagofHolding I used white lithium grease.
Would like to ask why didn’t you make it single layer if it is a strap top so it won’t be hot if you want to wear it for summer
This was my first attempt. It will be good for cooler days.
I am planning on making a flat panel one this summer. Good question. 😊
Can you give us the demo for the cardigan it’s fab .
Which cardigan ? I have a hooded cardigan and a long vest on my channel already.
When my brain is tired, I forget how the counter works... is it on the row I'm working on, or the row I just finished?
Just depends how you start.
When I am 1/2 way around my cast on row or my last row of waste yarn, I stop and set the counter to zero. That way when I start my first row it will click on number 1 and I know I am working on that row.
Hi I can't find this yarn on my google search with any yardage indication, can you please provide this as I need to find an alternative. Did you say it is a 3 weight?
It is a 3 weight and the yardage is 418 yards per ball.
@@koalaknitsandknacksaddicrochet Fantastic thank you
How do you make straps whiteout using the egg, I don’t have one yet
You could do a flat panel double the width that you want and then sew the sides together to make a tube that’s half the width.
This way it’s double layer.
Can you possibly tell me how to do the measurements? I've watched the beginning of this so many times and I don't have anything about how to measure for myself. I'm a plus size lady so your measurements definitely won't work for me. 😆
Also would love the link to your Facebook group! I tried to find it but it didn't come up.
I do not have measurements for multiple sizes. Sorry. The easiest way for you to do it would be to take a tank top you already have and measure it around. Measure the width of your tubes and do the math to figure out how many tubes you need to make that desired width. Or just measure your body in inches. You also have to determine how many inches long you want it then based on how many rows it takes you (according to the yarn and tension you use) if it takes you 5 rows to make an inch then multiply how many inches you need by 5 and knit that amount.

💖💖🙏🙏💖💖
It will be nice to make the braids on the tube not in the join 🤗
I did thinking that and I agree. It would be very nice. I just wanted a plain Jane tank.
Maybe next time. 🥰
