You're in Texas, you need a pool if you can fit one in back there. And compromise is the word when planning a house for you both! The hammock is a yes, with a grassy area behind it for the dog. If you like green, do some pictures and pillows and throws of the green with touches of lavender. It's very calming and peaceful which is what you need with busy lives like you guys have. Loving the series!!

Y'all are too cute! I am a designer based in Tulsa, OK and my projects consist a lot of high-end residential properties in midtown. IF you do a wallpaper in the master, do a tone-on-tone texture that is a vinyl, so it can be wipeable. For the powder bath where you might want some oomph, I would suggest a Stone Forest onyx vessel sink and some Philip Jeffries wallpaper. You *might* have to work with designer to get that wallpaper, though. Hope this helps! :)

Sorry Jojo, but I completely agree with Jordan about the hammock! I was at a huge garden party/BBQ a couple months ago at my fiance's friends house. (Mind you, we're a bilingual couple who don't share the same native language) But it was great when they were all speaking Czech, I could go relax and lay in the hammock and read a book or take a nap after a glass of wine or two. Also, Czech BBQ's tend to last like 8 hours, so.... a hammock was a nice way to relax in between social times. Just give the hammock a chance is all I'm saying :)

My house is white ivory and grey. The best furniture to give it a modern edge and a pop of color is what I chose.... I got navy tufted couch with gold legs. 2 accent chairs that are velvet navy blue also with gold arms and legs. The rug is light grey with a tint of navy scattered. Wayfair.con was my go to place. It looks absolutely stunning. Real modern clean look Home
